I've called 5 plumbers in the last week or two, and most have said they can't help me. In fact, one said my shower temperature issues were an easy fix, sent someone over and said they call me with an estimate and details later that day. I waited three days - nothing. Justin was the 6th plumber I called - he answered immediately, CAME OVER immediately, and completely fixed my shower in less than an hour. In fact, he was dedicated to ensuring he was not fixing something that didn't need to be fixed and would cost me undue expense (the issue the previous plumber had gone right to), and found a simpler, cheaper solution that gave me what feels like a brand new shower right away. He even fixed an issue I didn't know I had with the water pressure :) Not only that, but as I listened to he and his assistant's conversation, and the other things Justin told me, he clearly is an expert. Never sounded confused or unsure as to what to do, but also didn't seem to be making things up. He was respectful, professional and made me feel totally at ease. I found my toilet leaking again... I was concerned two years ago that their plumber cut corners and did not replace the seal and used the only used the existing wax for a seal. The job had been completed in 1/2 hour where other plumbers I had used typically took one hour. I received a call from I guess the owner at the time and he was angry about my post (see his responding post) I changed my post at the time giving them the benefit of the doubt. Now I am am not convinced. Using the existing wax is only a short term fix. I would not use their services again and am very hesitant to interact with them. read more

He had to order a part for my shower and he and another associate came over the next day (right on time). They fixed both of the plumbing issues I had (excellently I might add) and the price was less a lot less than what I had anticipated. This is the second time that I have had Just-in-Time plumbing out to my house. I needed my garbage disposal removed because I wanted the extra space under my sink. The owner, Justin, was patient enough to explain that the plumbing would still extend down a few inches below the base of the sink, so I was able to visualize the final result and decide if it was worth it. Another company (AllStar Plumbing) came out to try to clear my clogged sink drain. They quoted a high price, and then proceeded to fumble around with snakes for quite a while but were unable to clear the blockage. I asked whether they could use a camera to find the clog and they first said that was a good idea, but later said the camera was "too expensive", and what I really needed was just to replace old piping, at a cost of about $2500. I then called Just-In-Time. Justin came out with an assistant, snaked the drain line to SOLVE the problem quickly, and then made some other plumbing repairs in the home, all for only about $200. These guys are great. They came by and checked for clogging, which I had complained about. They gave me pointers for tracking and determining possible clog sources and what to watch for. It was a quick visit but I was willing to pay for the information. They didn't charge me a cent. Will definitely call them again for plumbing needs. Update 5/29/15: Just had a leak in our water heater. I called and Ben came out. Service could not have been better. Ben replaced a pressure relief valve (he showed me the corrosion in the old one ). I also asked about our strapping meeting state requirements. He checked and verified strapping, took a photo and sent it to the company HQ for a second opinion. All good. They didn't try to up-sell or exploit. I found Ben friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Good guys! read more

Years ago I called Just-In-Time Plumbing because there was a clog in a pipe and I couldn't use my washer. I was surprised and happy when Justin and his colleague came so fast and fixed said pipe. Just-in-Time plumbing is a friendly, professional, local business. The owner, Justin, is passionate about his work, he really loves what he does, and has decades of experience. My kitchen sink was leaking and I tried to fix it myself. It worked for a few months, but then it got bad again so I called in the troops. It turned out the pipe wasn't just loose anymore but had actually started to crack because it was so old and cheap. Justin replaced the trap with a high quality part and and took care of some of the other cheap pipe going in to the wall to prevent further problems. As a do-it-yourself kind of person, it was great to have Justin show me what he was doing. I had a slow drain in the bathroom and Justin showed me how to clear the trap. There is a quick-release piece that allows you to clear the trap easily that I did not know about. Justin showed me how to take care of myself so I could avoid using Drano and making unnecessary service calls. He could have just cleared it and let it be until the next time I needed help. Not only did he show me how to clear the trap, he made sure I could do it myself. It was a little harder to do than it looked so it was great to actually practice. Although my project could be considered a "re-pipe", most of the plumbing was brand new since I relocated my entire kitchen and most of the bathroom fixtures. They removed the old galvanized supply and cast iron waste, and replaced it with new copper and ABS. Just had a second wonderful appointment with Justin from Just In Time Plumbing. About a year ago, they put in a water heater for me, and it works perfectly. More recently, my main line got blocked, and they did an amazing job on it. They had to get under the house to unclog from several locations, and they showed me under my house what was going on. Took out a section of pipe that should have been strapped that wasn't, that had rock hard calcium from the hard water, that was 90% blocked. Replaced the pipe, replaced rotted wood, and properly strapped. They can explain better than I can, but basically they turned my sad country plumbing into the plumbing of a brand new house, and their rates are competitive. Cannot possibly say enough good things about them. They've been in business for so many years for good reason! And as if that all were not enough, they don't mind one bit coming to the Woodside/La Honda/Portola Valley area. I just paid my bill, and I'm on here happy with them, and how often can you say it was worth every penny, but it really was! read more

Justin and his crew were here today fixing a complicated plumbing issue in our home (1903 pipes and fittings). They did a great job replacing the pipes, left the bathroom spic and span, and their pricing was consistent with other estimates I received. Justin was recommended to us by a friend. Even though it took Justin 3 weeks to get to our job (we live in San Francisco and he is in the South Bay) it was worth the wait because a) unlike some other plumbers he actually responded to me and was upfront about the fact that he couldn't get to our job quickly, and b) as others have mentioned, it was obvious over the phone that he was honest and knowledgeable, and that is important to us. read more

Just-In-Time Plumbing Rocks! Seriously, why on earth would you bother with anyone else? Justin is the best plumber and all around great guy. We recently did a complete remodel of our home (kitchen both baths) It is official, Justin is now our plumbing man. During the project, our carpenter hit a main water line in our house with a nail (old houses are so fun)! No other workers were at our home at the time, so he called Justin. Justin told him how to turn off the water to the house (calmed him down) and then rearranged his schedule to come to our home and FIX the problem before going home for the evening. Who does that these days? In addition to saving the day, the work Justin does is perfection. Justin and our Designer reconfigured our bathrooms (one from tub to a great big shower with high shower head), we love both our baths now. He worked his same magic in the kitchen installing our farm sink, new faucet and disposal.
