Oh wow!! Just wow!! This is a very small and intimate place, although super busy, staff was very professional, very kind. The food was delicious! With the prices being low, I didn't think that we would get much food for the price, but we were mistaken! We got the eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast and the country fried steak, eggs, hash browns and toast. The food did not disappoint!! The country fried steak had the prefect meat to breading combo, it wasn't too thick or too thin and the taste was delicious!!! It's a tiny little restaurant that only serves breakfast on sundays. There are tables just inside the door so right now. People keep opening the door and just holding it open. Our breakfast meals were out so fast we barely had time to pick up our phones. I did not like the hash browns they weren't the thinner crispy on the outside soft in the middle kind. They were barely done. I didn't feel like sending them back as there was plenty of other food and those girls were hopping! My eggs were over medium and perfect. The bacon was crispy and plentiful. The white toast was thick slathered in butter. Overall definitely a great experience. Just what we were looking for this day. We put in it to-go order and it was up really fast as well. We enjoyed delicious, good ol' home cookin' with friendly service for Father's Day breakfast at Just Judy's. They were very busy, but still handled everything with grace! We tried the corned beef hash with hash browns, 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, and the chicken fried steak also with hash browns. Everything was prepared as requested and tasted great. And, we really appreciated that they offer you substitution options if you don't want toast with your meal -- we each opted for an additional egg with our breakfast entrées. We'll definitely be back. First time visitor. Brought my family of 5 here Sunday @ 12:15 (45 minutes before close). There were a few people standing outside waiting for tables but we put our name on the waitlist. We waited 5 minutes but it was cold so we decided to head home and try another time (or so we thought)... the hostess literally ran out to the parking lot and said "not so fast, we are just clearing a table for you!" +1 star We get seated and are immediately offered drinks, menus and guidance on ordering because "all of the plates 1-5 are double portions" so you will have more than enough food. +1 star We get our coffee before we even finish ordering! Real Half & Half. +1 star The staff are so friendly... and not just to my wife and me, but talk to my kids and jokingly offer them summer jobs washing dishes (but I think they might be serious). In less than 10 minutes it feels more like dining with old friends than at a busy restaurant, we have met the owner and her daughter and they are telling us the history of the whole place. +1 star The food is delivered quick, it's delicious, and indeed the portions are fit for a farmer. This place is a great well kept secret by the old-timers. It's casual, simple, and delivers a great meal. Think diner atmosphere. I did breakfast, but they also do lunch too. I got #1 - Eggs, Sausage, Hash browns, and 1/2 order of B/G's. With a coffee, the total was $13.25. Tough to beat for this amount of quality food in the city! We stopped by today. We ordered 2 of these breaded tenderloins. We ended up cutting one in half and sharing it. They were crisp with a light flavor. We ordered one with fries and one with tots. Tots were crispy and the fries were too. The fries had a good seasoning on them. Staff was prompt and friendly. The bill was under $40 for all that we had. I have driven by this pace for years going to and from work. To me it always looked like one of those greasy spoons that was "OK". Never once stopping in until my wife found it listed on one of her Indy Foodie FB groups as a hit. Last Saturday we decided to give it a try, DAMN why have we missed out on this for so long. First I will say it was crowded which is amazing for them but right now still with COVID I wouldn't be able to sit that close to others eating. We planned to take home anyway. We ordered 3 meals; 2 were eggs, ham, hasbrowns, and 1/2 order of B&G, the other was an omelet & side of baccon. She server told me to go back out to my car and to pull up along curb in 15 minutes. 15 minutes almost to the dot she brought out our food. Each container was labeled what it was and everything was secure in the bag. First I have to say the Biscuits and Gravy were a huge hit, most places the gravy is too peppery or bland this was great, nice chunks of sausage, tasty gravy that someone actually made not mixed from powder. Eggs were exactly as ordered, hasbrowns, while they could have been a little crispier, where great, ham was really good as well nice slice. I did not try the omelet and forgot to ask my MiL how it was but the container was empty so I'm assuming it was as good as everything else. We will be back many times I can assure you. So if you are in the mood for some great breakfast and or lunch stop in and give them a try I think you will be as pleased as we were. read more

All the staff was very friendly and it kind of gives you a cheers feel. We were greeted as soon as we walked and waited about 5mins to be seated. Our food came out hot and as ordered. The coffee was good but would've been better if it was hotter. They have a good variety on the menu and everything that we had was delicious. Just a couple doors down from Blind Owl Brewery- this quaint little breakfast/ lunch spot is filled with lots of good food and employees. The food is very fairly priced and delicious. Think of- a local Waffle House. They offer carryout as well. We usually get break from Just Judy's a couple times a month , mostly when we run out of groceries or just don't want to cook. Their accessible prices make this doable. I haven't had the pleasure to try lunch, but breakfast is definitely recommended! There's a fairly good crowd from early morning - noon. I've seen they have taken out their patio sets so you can eat outside as well if you'd like. This is my fave diner around Indy I've found. I'm talking that classic diner. Go for breakfast! And I think they close in the afternoon anyway. I love hitting this spot on a weekend before I go out running all my errands or to do some shopping. The service is super quick so you can have a great sit down meal without spending a ton of time. You got so much food for such a great price! My go to is the corned beef hash - perfectly cooked. Comes with 2 eggs your way, toast AND hash browns. It's literally two plates of food. My husband pointed to the amount of bacon on his plate (He got Judy's breakfast #1) with his mouth open..then immediately took a photo to send to his family. I got the breakfast sandwich for 5.75 with egg POURING out all sides...I had to use my fork for the first half of the meal before I could pick up my sandwich, which came with TWO sausage patties, egg and cheese on my choice of bread. Everything tasted good (coffee too) and came out quickly, fast and friendly service and wonderful prices... in and out fast so they could seat the next customer. We always stop in for a full breakfast about 9:30 on Sunday mornings about every other month. We live out of town. I can say it is pretty well packed and sometimes we have to wait to get a seat. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. He was craving biscuits and gravy. We love this place and it will become our go to breakfast spot now. The restaurant is tiny and intimate. The staff are super friendly and know all of the regulars and greet them as family (goals). My husband got the 1/2 biscuits and gravy with hash browns and a side of bacon. I ordered the Breakfast Plus. Eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. I opted for a biscuit. One negative is I should have requested my hash browns crispy. There was nothing wrong with what I received but the crispy ones looked really yummy. Oh and the bacon... not the sad little two strips of bacon here... probably 6-8 slices.
