Update: Came back for a work dinner and was able to explore more of the menu. Our server (forgot his name) was fabulous!! He made great recommendations and was attentive and fun! I had the purple haze and it was good! I enjoyed the presentation and the taste! Would definitely order again. We tried the popovers, crab cakes and meatballs for apps. My favorite were the crab cakes and the least fav were the popovers. That leaves the meatballs in the middle. Of the 3, the only one I'd try again would be the crab cakes. On to the main course. I ordered a filet with a sweet whiskey sauce. We shared broccolini, carrots, French onion mac n chz and au gratin potatoes. I ordered my steak medium and it came out closer to medium well-well. I think it was slightly underwhelming, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt since they were so busy and we were a table of 10. As a Maryland girl, I am very particular about my crab cakes and these were surprisingly really good for a landlocked state. We didn't love the appetizer special, which was a brioche bread with 4 oz of lump crab. Again... I'm Maryland born and just lived there for 10 years, so I may be a crab snob. King crab isn't my favorite and that's what this is. It was on the fishier side and also salty, so for me... inedible. Blue crab would've been better. Beet salad was just okay. Wedge salad - good! Not the best I've ever had, but also not the worst. Good call on the red onions. It was really dense. I tend to like them manipulated a bit for easier eating. New York Strip was cooked perfectly medium - not overly seasoned, which I appreciate. The potatoes were the star of the dang show for me. Delicious. The sauce was great! The potatoes were tender but not mushy. Very good. Broccolini wasn't anything special. The sea bass was also just okay for me... which is disappointing because it's my favorite fish. It wasn't bad by any means. I think maybe I'd skip what accompanies and just do other sides next time. Service was lacking. Commission Row hosted such a fun Pacers Tipoff Party and honestly sets the bar pretty high for event nights. From the start, everything felt smooth and welcoming. Valet parking was quick and easy, and the gentlemen working were super friendly, which is always a great way to kick off the evening. As soon as we walked in, staff greeted us and pointed us toward the elevator. Once upstairs, we were welcomed by Douglas from Commission Row and Kim, who was representing the Pacers. They were both fantastic and made everything feel organized but still relaxed. They helped us check our coats, walked us through the food and drink options, and most importantly showed us where the dessert table was. Priorities! The food theme rotates each party and it was Italian night, which was a win. They offered charcuterie scones, caesar salad, pizza, and pasta. Everything was really good and easy to enjoy while mingling. The bar had beer, wine, and a specialty Winter Daiquiri that definitely did its job. Strong, but super tasty, which is a dangerous but very appreciated combo! We arrived a little early and it ended up being perfect because we got to enjoy the space before it filled up. What can I say? This was one of my favorite meals of 2025 and I'm sad it was so late in the year. I was on vacation with my boyfriend and we decided to check it out since they were named one of the best new restaurants in 2025 on Yelp. From beginning to end, the service was phenomenal. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they even gave him a birthday card! We started off with the crab cakes which normally I'm not a huge fan of. These were better than any I've had before. They were perfectly crispy on the outside. They were big portions as well and the crab was the standout of the dish. We planned on splitting each course and they plated them for us separately without us asking which was nice. I loved these crab cakes! Next was the salmon with lobster risotto. Nothing would prepare me for how much I would love this risotto. It could be its own by itself. It was creamy and cheesy without overpowering the lobster. The salmon was seared and cooked nicely with an amazing flavor profile. We then moved onto our NY strip. The crust was crispy and seasoned perfectly. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Our side of French onion mac n cheese tied together our meal. They finished it off with a surprise birthday dessert that went above and beyond my expectations. Everything about this restaurant was well thought out. The servers were well trained and knowledgeable. To my surprise, the Cunningham Restaurant Group runs Commission Row. First time Commission Row! I think it's very convenient if you're wanting to grab food before a pacer game or maybe another event happening at Gainbridge. It has a beautiful of the Bicentennial Plaza from the restaurants big bay windows. Starting with the "Lemon Drop". "It is a tasty drink, but strong. Do not drink it on an empty stomach because it's strong and it's not a punk." Our waiter was pretty cool and knowledgeable of the menu. I studied that menu up and down for a while before making my decision on the wedge salad and was able to try other dishes that people got a table. The wedge salad was actually tasty and offered more salad than I anticipated. The picture online does not do it justice. The macaroni and cheese was very tasty. I just could've done without the French onions on top. The brussels sprouts I wanted to taste because brussels sprouts are tasty however they weren't the best. We started with the popovers and tried them with both the sundried tomato oil and the butter, but they were just okay -- nothing super memorable. The crab cake was a different story though. It had great flavor, a good portion size, and the plating looked nice. For our entrées, my fiancé and I both ordered the Filet of Ribeye which seemed to be their Valentine's Day special. The ribeye and crab were easily 9/10 and definitely worth ordering if it's available. It was pretty rich and flavorful but I just wished there had been a bit more mashed potatoes to balance everything out. For sides, we got the fries which honestly reminded me of McDonald's fries but crispier -- and I love McDonald's fries, so that's a win. We also had the French onion mac and cheese and you could taste the French onion flavor in every bite, which made it really stand out. They offer valet parking but on Sundays with free street parking we parked not even a block away. Food was really good. Well seasoned and presented. I loved the Rosemary & Gruyère omelet. The biscuits and gravy portion is huge so unless you have a ferocious appetite, you could easily split it with someone. It also was the least favorite of the dishes of our group. For my drink I tried the meet cute, and it was very tasty with all the right flavors, but very small. :/ I think it's good to try but go with a Classic cocktail to enjoy. But it's good to try when you're experiencing. The reason for the 4 star is because the service could have been better. My sister order was delayed for her lobster bisque and mashed potatoes. Our server was not quite attentive but just decent. Felt she could have been better but that's how it goes. The bar area is extremely beautiful and it would be good to come to grab a drink and appetizer. They also have a speakeasy here but it was closed, maybe because it was a Sunday. I don't even know where to begin! A friend and I came for dinner a few months ago and I can confidently say that I had an amazing time. That's obviously a common thing because their reviews and overall rating set the bar high. Yelp even named them the 4th best new restaurant in the country for 2025. Now, that's saying something! We had a reservation and that was definitely a good thing. There was a lot going on downtown and the restaurant was packed with people. Once we were seated we started with cocktails and some appetizers. I can't remember the name of the drink I got, but it was gin based and super smooth. As for starters, we ordered the crab cake, meatballs, and lobster bisque (mainly because we were curious as the reviews raved about it). I stuck with the crab cakes and they were absolutely delicious. I would order them again and again. I'm a pescatarian so I didn't try the meatballs, but my friend enjoyed them. I was not a fan of the lobster bisque, however I will say it was very creamy and flavorful. After snacking on those items, my friend ordered a caesar salad and I went with the salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the lobster risotto it was placed on top of was divine. This is also a dish I would order again. We wrapped things up with a glass of wine and dessert to go (tiramisu) and it was a great way to end the meal. I'll wrap things up by saying our server was amazing. Very attentive, even despite how busy they were. They answered all of our questions and my friend and I are both very curious people. The restaurant itself is also beautiful. First off, can I give it another star or two?! Wow! So as you know today as it was the last day of August, it was also the last day for Devour Indy so we decided to plan a date night since schedules have not lined up and we just had been extremely busy. I sent him the Devour Indy link and he did the rest. He made a reservation for us and I was excited! The excitement didn't stop there, what a beautiful place. The decor, the lighting, the Sputnik light fixtures, the flowers, the lovely aroma in the restrooms! I could go on and on. Jenna was our server and an absolute delight! Great personality, full of great suggestions and information about the menu and just a friendly beautiful human. We put in our drink order first. I the strawberry lemon drop and he the old fashioned. Both beautifully presented and very tasty. We then put in our dinner choices. I the salmon, the wedge salad, and strawberry shortcake, while he chose the filet with scallop on top, the shrimp cocktail, and peanut butter cheesecake. Such a beautiful ambiance for our date night. Conversation flowing and drinks tasting great our food was there in good timing. The salad was quite good and the bleu cheese and bacon crumbles were very delicious. His shrimp cocktail was absolutely amazing. The sauce itself was very tasty. I had a spoonful of it without the shrimp it was so good. Our main entree arrived and the plates were hot and as the food was too which I absolutely love a scalding hot meal....i know I'm weird but it was just perfect. The risotto under my salmon was just spectacular, so creamy and the chili sauce was a nice addition to that and the salmon. It was like butter it just melted on my tongue. His filet and scallop were just exuberant and the peppercorn sauce that Jenna recommended was a beautiful touch to it. It really added a special taste to an already amazing dish. Our desserts were last but not least and once again perfect portions and just rich and flavorful. So very glad my bf picked this for our date night. For starters, I had the jumbo shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce was perfect, not too spicy and had great flavor. For my entree, I had the 6oz filet with mashed potatoes & asparagus. The steak was "melt in your mouth" good, it was perfectly seared and seasoned. The mashed potatoes were buttery and whipped to perfection and the asparagus was perfectly cooked & seasoned. For dessert, I had the chocolate cake. That is how chocolate cake is supposed to be made! It came with fruit as well which helped balance out some of the richness from the chocolate. Talk about intentional design! This restaurant is beautiful and it's clear to me that a comfortable guest experience was top of mind while designing the space. There is extra space everywhere so we never felt too close to other guests (waiting area and dining). The noise level was perfect- lively but not distracting. Stopped in here before a Pacer game without reservations on a Saturday around 5pm. Luckily they had just a couple spots at the bar where we were able to squeeze in. When sitting at the bar it's nice because we got fantastic service. We had a couple of different servers that stopped by to check on us. We even chatted about he various liquor that had. One thing of note, is they have a pretty nice selection of bourbon. We just ordered a couple of drinks and the meatball, and fries. All really good. The vibe was very sexy and sleek which I loved. The lighting was dim but not too dim, the music was loud but not too loud. Perfect place for a date night, girls night, solo dinner, whatever. We had a large group for a birthday and they brought out complimentary champagne for the table which I've never seen any restaurant do. And the lobster bisque soup was rich and amazing! Been looking forward to checking out one of CRG's newest in downtown Indy, next to Gainbridge. In a word, WOW. First impression was the ambiance-sleek, modern yet comfortable. We settled in and got to the business at hand. First, cocktails; Shannon had their Lemon Drift, a twist on the classic lemon drop. I opted for the Vesper which on consuming was hands-down, the best I ever had. Waiter Ben was the perfect combination of attentive without being intrusive. Helpful, friendly, and more than capable he completely complemented the experience. Next we went into full grazing mode, knowing full well course #1 would be the petite seafood tower, followed by the lobster risotto and a shared wedge salad. Each was outstanding - tower consisted of oysters, large prawns, a lobster tail and crab ceviche, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The risotto was creamy, flavorful with perfect bite. Finally, the wedge was everything you look for in that salad. Ultimately led to a wine recommendation and extended conversation on Chardonnay knowledge, sharing a personal connection with Ben of Indy's wine scene. This extended even further to our common residence in OC over our respective journeys All said, an outstanding experience all the way around. Can't wait to return and dive deeper into the menu.
