We've been taking our two Shih Tzus to Just Pawfection for years now. They never got a bad cut and the Groomers are very nice.

I took my doodle here a few months ago for his first grooming (4 months). I paid $65 for the service. Marissa did his grooming. As a new dog owner, I wasn't sure what to expect, but agreed to a puppy trim, leaving most of the fur on him and just cleaning up around his face (mouth, eyes), paws, and sanitary areas. I liked the open cubes in which the dogs were placed while waiting. Marissa was patient and answered all of my initial questions. I got a call to pick up my pup about 2 hours later. When I went in, at first glance, his trim was perfect. He smelled great and they gave him a cute bandana to go home with. However, after a closer look, my puppy had black fur in his golden coat, pieces of gunk stuck in his tail that I showed the groomer and she then removed. He also had red spots that looked like dried blood in his tear ducts. I pointed that out to the groomer and she tried to say that they were tear stains. I wasn't sure if that was the case since the redness was not on his fur , it was at the inner corners of his eyes. However, I did not push the issue because my dog appeared to be fine. I wiped his eyes when I got home and the "stains" went away. I gave three stars because: After I got home, I noticed he had more pieces of black fur or gunk stuck in the fur of his chin area and under his mouth. I was not able to brush or wipe it out. I had to literally cut it out of his fur. I was a bit disappointed about that because it's not clear what was even stuck in his fur. When you take your dog to the groomer and pay for a service, you expect it to be done properly and to your approval. I did not fully have that experience here and will now be going to a different groomer who is more attentive to my puppy. read more

My dog Rex short hair dachshund comes here for his monthly grooming and they do a beautiful job with caring for him he's always very nervous for his appointments but they handle him with such care, the girls in the front are always so kind when making an appointment definitely affordable next block over charged double the price and didn't even do as much as just perfection now we come here all the time. read more

My dog was groomed in this place. We we picked him up and gave you $200 cash for the terrible job that was done on my dog. Only later when we got home we realised how bad it was. My dog is cut everywhere with red spots. His leg was cut so badly it looks like you guys took a scissor and just cut with no mercy. We had to take him to the vet and it's much more serious than we thought. Don't send your dog there! read more

Second time I took my yorkie in for a trim and she came out with all her hair practically cut off. Her hair just grew back from the first time they messed up and cut it all off and they totally cut it off again today after specific instructions on her card and text messages with Zee right after she was dropped off. the excuse for cutting her bangs is that it was shorter than the rest of the hair (shorter because of the last mess up) meanwhile she even texted me that she knows to keep the top knot. any decent groomer knows bangs are part of a top knot and yorkies do not have all layers. I have 4 small dogs and have been coming here for years. I am never 100% satisfied with there cuts, but it is close by and convenient and Zee was aLeary's a sweetheart. But after the way she handled todays BIG mistake I will probably look for another groomer after all these years read more

This is a Great grooming salon! The prices are beyond Reasonable! And after 10 you get a Free Grooming!! There are no cages so the barking is very little if any whenever I have been there. I totally trust them with my 2 beloved dogs. And you can tell the girls here love there job. The store is clean. They have 2 locations. This was her first grooming with someone one other than Petco and the main reason i took her to Petco for 5 years straight although their expensive is because of safety and liability. When I first saw her groomed by Just Pawfection I was in love with it and the price. However a day later I saw that her stomach had gotten red. but I pegged it up to a close shave, since then half of her belly has gotten red splotches on her stomach and she is uncomfortable and itchy. I went here to get my dog groomed and they are not suited for big dogs and do not know how to handle the big dogs. They immediately saw her she barked because she's never been to a groomers before (8 months) and they panicked and said "I'm not grooming her unless you want to do it" very unprofessional. Its funny when I leave her at the vet she barks and then we leave and she's fine and goes with them, guess you guys aren't cut out for big breeds. While they do an excellent job grooming our dog, they are awful at customer service. Make an appt online and it tells you that you'll get an email confirmation--never happens. I've looked high and low in my inbox including spam and nothing. One time they took issue with me coming for an appt made online without it being confirmed, so the next time we called. Multiple times and left a voicemail asking callback--no response. Resorted to scheduling online again and sent an email as a follow up--nothing. Amazing how they seem to think this is ok because I guess they have enough business going. It's sad that we may have to take our dog somewhere else, but honestly it feels like we're begging to pay them for their service and they don't seem to care for it. read more
