Looking as happy as ever after her grooming with Tina.

This was my first time coming to Dog N Cat House to get my dog groomed. I was a bit nervous & skeptical since I've had my dog groomed at other places & there was always something wrong w the grooming, but it was over a year since she had been groomed, so she was over due for one. I was referred by my mother-in-law who gets her 4 dogs groomed here. I've always loved how her dogs looked after grooming so I decided I'd give this place a shot. I'm so glad I did because I'm in love w how well they did w my dog. I know very well, my dog is a pain to groom. She hates water/baths, so she tries to escape. She will attempt to throw herself off the grooming table about 1000 times, she hates her nails being cut & she usually will only tolerate about 3 seconds of brushing. I'm not sure how they did it, but my dog came out looking amazing! I'm very picky w how my dog is groomed. I normally will ask for a full bath, de-shedding (she has a double coat), trimming of the feathering fur on her legs, paws & stomach, evening out of the long fur on her back legs, no sanitary shave & no cutting of the fur on her ears & tail. Jamie was the bather & Tina was the groomer who did my dog today. Hands down, they did an amazing job! My dog was done in about 2hrs w her grooming. At the previous places I visited, it's taken anywhere from 3 to 4hrs. This place is also amazingly priced. I was given $5 off because I was referred here by my mother-in-law, I had no clue I was getting this discount until it was time time pay. So my dogs grooming cost me only $55!Previously I have paid over $100 for her grooming at other places. So for half the price I'm used to paying, she came out looking even better! I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're thinking about coming here, definitely do it, you will not regret it. The people here are super nice, the prices are amazing & your dog walks out of her looking like a million bucks! What more could you ask for?

That lighter colored area is almost to her skin.

I've been taking my dog here for a while now. When I met my fiancé, I had him bring his dog here as well. On Saturday November 17th, I dropped both of our pups off to get their usual haircuts. When my fiancé picked them up, the staff acted like everything was okay. AFTER he paid, they decided to inform him that they cut my dog's (Boo) ear while they were grooming her. They packed it with some yellow substance that they said should fall off within a few days. I understand that groomers aren't perfect, but upon further inspection of her ear, it looks like it was more than just a simple nick, in fact, it looks like they took a piece off of her ear. To add insult to injury, whoever groomed her also shaved off way more than they were supposed behind her front leg. They still had the nerve to charge full price, other reputable I know would've never accepted payment. This place is disgusting, their staff is disgusting. The woman that works front desk is a complete air head. I gave her my number over the phone prior to making the appointment, as well as while I dropped the pups off, yet they claimed I never answered when they called. Furthermore, they called our other dog a dirty little pig because he was being a typical male dog around my female dog. This place overcharges for sub par service, grooming and hospitality. I have quite a few friends who go here regularly and I'll be letting them know to not use this place anymore. I'm worried that the trauma my poor pup faced will dissuade her from being comfortable at a groomers ever again. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

    Happy customer...and a happy owner!

I get my dog groomed regularly here by Bea. My dog is a Papatzu (Papillion-Shih Tzu mix), and if she isn't groomed regularly she looks like she should be taken away for neglect. They are able to squeeze my dog in on short notice-I called once and they told me that they could accommodate her immediately. They are affordable and more than efficient. Highly recommended!

I am beyond heartbroken and angry about what we experienced. We arrived a day early Sunday 01/18/26…read moreat 11:20 AM and found our dog Zuko in an absolutely unacceptable condition. He was covered in poop and urine, visibly stressed, and had clearly been left like that for hours. The staff did not even offer to clean him. They handed him to us exactly like that until I demanded they wash him. Another dog, my son Luis, was found standing in a huge puddle of urine, which tells me neither of them was properly walked or cared for that morning. That is basic care. This is not a small mistake. This is neglect. Zuko is a rescue. We have worked so hard to make him feel safe, secure, and confident. Seeing him so scared that he came home, pooped in the hallway, and hid broke my heart. He has never done that before. He looked ashamed and terrified, and it honestly made me fear that he may have been yelled at or mistreated. No animal should ever leave a facility in that emotional state. What makes this even worse is that no one called us. No one apologized. No one explained. No one even tried to make something up. Nothing. That silence speaks volumes. It felt like they didn't care at all about the animals or their clients--only about money. This is not just bad service. This is animal neglect. Possibly animal cruelty. I trusted this place with a life that depends on humans to protect him, and that trust was completely shattered. If you love your pets, please think very carefully before leaving them here.

The professionalism should not only be in the work that they do but also in how to talk to people...the actual customers! When I took my dog to this Dog n Cat house Salon for a grooming they were very ridiculing, judgemental and rude due to the condition of my dogs fur...obviously I was aware of the condition and needed the help with my dogs fur if I am taking him to get groomed and was hoping to possibly be advised on how to take care of a very furry/hairy dog which I lacked knowledge in, (note I hadn't had this dog very long and is the first I've ever had this fur result) instead I was given negative opinions which was not the service I expected. In a professional setting/establishment it would be ideal and professional to advise customers in a professional manner as to how and why to take care of an animals hair not be rude and unprofessional, there is a way to talk to people when representing an establishment and that should be with class, show knowledge, and professionalism NOT disrespect and judgement and threats. Overall groomers are good, not great but good, customer service was disgusting, unnecessary feedback, and extremely overpriced...my price was jacked up by over 53% due to their ridiculing opinion. I wouldn't recommend this company's service. I most definitely will not be taking my dog back there!

I dropped her off a few minutes early for her 1:15 pm appointment on a Saturday. I informed her to cut my dogs hair as short as possible (as it grows back really fast.) The lady informed me that it would be 3 to 3-1/2 hours. After 4 hours, I call them to ask about the dog and she said another hour and a half!!! At this point, I'm annoyed because what was the point of giving me a 1:15 appointment if 4 hours later my dog still hasn't even been touched! She's only 6 pounds! 2 hours after that I was fed up. I didn't call, I just showed up. None of the employees were at the front desk. Instead it was a customer sitting behind the desk!! Is that what you call professional?! I'm explaining my concerns to him (obviously before I knew he wasn't an employee) And he is rambling on about how this place is so great. And I am asking him if my dog has even had water in the 6 hours she's been there! 20 minutes later, they bring my dog out and everything was wrong. But after the torture of her being there so long, I wasn't leaving her there another second! Her hair was long, not super short like we requested, her nails were cut but not filed so it was horrible, her face was filthy. You can definitely tell that they went nowhere near her face! I was livid!! Then on top of that charge me $60!!!! Never going back and definitely never recommending anyone to this horrible place.
