I have zero complaints and highly recommend, but here's the long review - it is all praise. My wife and I have a 20 year old plus cat that hates to travel and needed a vet check up. We researched in home veterinarians and found Vetted. We were able to schedule an appointment and have our cat taken care of without having to drag him to a vets office. Dr Zayas came with tech Raianna and they were both a pleasure - caring and comforting during the experience with concern for our cat's mental and physical well being. They where both very knowledgeable and worked great together as a team, whether it was taking blood, performing the examination, or just explaining everything to us - they were both great. Having such quality care for our pet in the comfort of our own home, saving us the hassle (and our cat the stress) of traveling to a vet and then waiting in a waiting room before traveling back home was more convenient than I ever could have imagined. They showed up prepared with equipment - IV bags, blood test kits, sample taking tools - all the things a vet would need. Not only where they were priced very reasonably, but they were upfront about any extras we might opt for and never made us feel pressured about anything. They have been very quick with test results, and communication has been great post visit. I highly recommend. After using them once, I'll never leave my place to go to a vet for anything except a pure emergency.

Vetted sent Dr. Maria to my apartment, no wait, and did the same service better, faster, and slightly cheaper. Is it much cheaper than your local vet? Probably not, but it is so much easier and less stressful to your pets! One dog needs another set of boosters, and I'll be sticking with Vetted.

I have seen them put everything into saving one life then do it again, and again, despite the inevitable disappointments. Sometimes it isn't possible to save them. Because of their growing knowledge and experience, CatCastle is becoming a resource for other rescues/rescuers, especially on newborn kittens. Humane education is another area where they great potential to do a great amount of good.

Why Instagram, rather than the uber-popular, super visible adoption options in the city that come up on Google? Because A. I specifically wanted kittens and the big shelters I went to didn't have any. B. Because all the ultra-cool hip rescue organizations require you to practically sign away your firstborn child in order to adopt. I understand that they want to find the perfect adopter because it's in the best interest of the animal, but I see people bragging about their 2-page essays that accompany their applications because they're such A+ adopters. And hey, just because they want to assign "Exhibit As and Bs photos of their home life," high school English teacher references and SAT add-ons, doesn't mean that should set the standard. Holland from Cat Castle was warm, friendly and helpful when I reached out to her; the friendliest out of EVERY place I had looked into! I told her which kittens I was interested in, filled out the application, and she delivered my sweet boys to my apartment! She even came back to pick them up to take them to get neutered before delivering them back to me! I loved her energy and I love how she and Max have the knowledge to treat some of their rescues in their own home making some vet visits avoidable! While other pet rescues have an almost snooty demeanor about their approval process, I love how down-to-earth Cat Castle is and their non-discriminatory application process. And I'm so happy I was able to support a small, up-and-coming, NYC non-profit that truly cares for animals and wants to match them with potential adopters without being judgy about it. I 100% recommend them to anyone looking to adopt! ^_^

This is really important for me as depending on app-based dog walking services can be pretty unreliable. I'd emailed Pet Sitters Club at short notice to establish walks for my puppy Leo, and James came early to our apartment on a Saturday morning to set everything up. He saw some behavior to be corrected with Leo and he went right into training mode which was great for me as a first time puppy mother to learn. He also gave me other tips that I've incorporated into Leo's training. Leo's walked by Gabby daily and we're really happy with her! The entire business is run very professionally and they're very accommodating with changes and additions. I also appreciate their very prompt replies, even late-night weekends! My dog is in the best of hands" type of mindframe. I first went to VCG at Little Neck and was then referred to the Whitestone location as a surgery date opened up last minute. Dr. Rojas was amazing from start to finish. I was a bit apprehensive seeing some mixed reviews as this was a big surgery BUT I am so glad I made that judgment call for myself. Dr. Rojas was amazing. He answered ALL my questions and I felt confident leaving my baby in his hands. The reviews in regards to pricing- the pricing can be higher than other animal clinics BUT the difference in care and service speaks for itself. It does not compare! When I tell you that Patricia texted me everyday and night to check in on my dog, offered to come to my house to get my dog to eat when she didn't have an appetite post surgery, was going to pick up my dog for her follow up appt in the event I couldn't make it as I was taking care of a newborn...
