Drove out from Franklin. We had one when I was growing up. On Banta Street. The food was fresh Hot and just like I remembered it. Big J combo. What I love is it's been good every time I have made the trip and I'll be back again.

Fri BBQ special in honor of my dad's fav from here!

Always a great meal for a reasonable price. I got the Fri BBQ combo special and left full and satisfied. I eat in usually so the small drink with the special since I can get a refill. I love this family owned Rushville gem!

Non-chain/ franchise, family owned, 40+ years in business, hamburger place, right next to McDonald's in Rushville, IN. The place looks almost the same from the day it opened, in a good way, nothing fancy, no frills, just good food at good prices. Try the fries with the homemade tarter sauce mix, its a classic here, and way better tasting than ketchup. The burger sizes are small to average, and cooked up fresh for you while you wait a few minutes. They offer a different daily lunch special for about $6. A Big J burger is about $3.25 and a Super J burger is about $4, so they are a bit pricey compared to the competition, but the nostalgic taste makes it worth paying more. 60 cents for a drink refill. When I ate there this afternoon, it was not busy, only couple other patrons, the counter staff seemed busy though, and not overly friendly, no smiles on their faces, so depends on whose working as I have had great cheerful service here before too. These ladies today just didn't seem like they wanted to chat, more like they wanted to get home and relax. They forgot to give my 85 yr old mother her senior citizen discount, I guess because we didn't see the sign during our order time and didn't request it. I guess this place isn't what I used to remember it being 20 years ago, many great times and memories there, and anytime I go to Rushville, I try and stop here, even if only to get the fries. Just Rite is a great alternative to the chain burger places, and I do recommend trying them at least once if you're in the area.

Food and service were great. Dining area was very clean. The J burger is similar to a Big Mac but tastes much better. I recommend.

Stop for the fries and dipping sauce. Wash it down with a flavored pop! Nothing fancy but great local spot for a burger or daily special.

Cashier cussed me out, and I was just leaving the place. Never go here. Trying to close 45 min early. Cashier flipped me off.

They make the order in front of you assembly line style and everything is already ready to go. Everyone was friendly and helpful when I had a question. I ordered three burritos for me and the hubby. I ordered the sweet habanero chicken, the Southwest ranch pork, and the jalapeno Ranch spicy steak. I ate the sweet habanero chicken with is listed as mild on their menu and it was. It was, however, cold. I don't know if that is because they put so many cold ingredients in with the meat but I ate half of it cold and then put it in the microwave at home to eat the rest of it warm. The sweet habanero chicken burrito has chicken, pico de gallo, cilantro, lime, sweet habanero sauce, monterey jack, rice, and black beans along with chicken. The flavors were very good and there was plenty to eat as they make them pretty thick. The hubby is eating his later. The cost for the three burritos came to approximately $25. I am sure that we will go back there for more takeout.

The air itself shimmered with the scent of roasted peppers and slow-simmered adobo, as if the souls of flavor had risen to bless this humble establishment. The chips arrived -- golden, audaciously crisp -- and the salsa... my word, the salsa! It danced upon my tongue like a mariachi serenade at sunset. Each bite was an ode to freshness, a love letter written in cilantro and lime. Then came the burritos -- big fat beauties, wrapped in warm flour tortillas that felt as though they had been hand-crafted by the angels themself. The chicken was tender enough to make a grown man question the meaning of existence; the potato fries, smoky and transcendent, whispered secrets of ancient kitchens long forgotten by time. The service? Flawless. The staff glided between tables with the grace of seasoned diplomats and the warmth of lifelong friends. In short: this restaurant doesn't just serve food -- it serves an experience, a revelation, a rebirth of the senses. If I could give it six stars, I would. If I could move in, I might.
