It's sad that I have to write an updated review, but my wife and I stopped in after some shopping in the sands and were extremely disappointed. At 5pm (they close at 9pm) on a Sunday, they were "out of stock" of a number of items, and couldn't give an answer of when certain items would be replenished (this includes things like Chicken, chips, cilantro). In addition, the overall service was much slower than what we've come to expect. We took our food to go, and when we got home, the quality of the food wasn't what I remembered - example is that the avocado in my salad was hard. Not sure if it was just an off day, but I don't know if I would return to this location. Sad. read more

I came here to pick up dinner for my family. It was pretty late but the staff was still eager to help us pick out some great food. They have paper menus in house so you an figure out what you want before joining the line. The restaurant is very clean, even the bathrooms were spotless. I really love the ways they contribute to climate health. Everything from their packaging, to their rewards programs, exudes an 'Earth-friendly' sentiment. With our event offer, we were also gifted with reusable bento lunch boxes and a very chic Just Salad reusable tote! On this particular day, Javon helped us with our orders. The kids menu is not included on their paper menu but it is displayed on their digital menu. I'm assuming that it likely changes often. I purchased a kid's Om Nom Nom Bowl for my daughter and also bought a Just Salad X Sesame Street reusable bowl for her. In the future, we will be able to order bowls, using her reusable bowl and receive one free topping per in-store order. They also have a BringBack Bowl program that allows you to order online and pick up your order in one of their green reusable bowls and return the bowl once you're done using it. This is a pilot program that began in 2021 and is only available at certain locations. I also purchased the Pick 2 Combo for my husband, including their Honey Crispy Chicken Wrap and Strawberry Banana Smoothie. I stole a bite of his and it was really good! Their ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and they pack those wraps to the brim! Their house made sauces are soooo yummy! The smoothie was thick and flavorful but not too sweet. Tracy also helped us with ringing up our order and we appreciated the staff's patience when it came to our indecisiveness. Everything was packaged with care. I will visit again. read more

I love Just Salad! The first time I went to one was in NYC near my office. I was excited to see that they opened one in Oceanside & I heard about It through the Yelp Elite Events. I came this evening and was so excited - super clean & friendly staff. I ordered the crispy poblano chicken salad - delicious! It's my go to. RUN DONT walk. What a breath of fresh air and fresh FOOD in a shopping center that so desperately needed this. Among all the places you can find in the area, a salad shop was the perfect addition. This was my first time at a Just Salad and it did NOT disappoint! My husband got a Thai chicken salad, I got a chicken poblano, and both my picky eating kids got reusable Sesame Street bowls (huge plus) filled with fresh snackins that they loved and couldn't get enough of. Some staff are still being trained on registers but everyone is lovely and accommodating, and ATTENTIVE The eating area is spacious and flooded with natural light, 10/10 would recommend and look forward to returning soon. read more

Thanks to Jared and Anny for hosting a wonderful Yelp Elite event! We are big fans of Just Salad and we're happy to see it branching out here in LI. It is located at the upscale Sands Shopping Center where there is plenty of parking available. There is outdoor patio seating available which we were able to take advantage of on a beautiful day like today! You have a choice of building your own bowl, salad or wrap or ordering one of the chef-designed entrees. They have a reusable bowl program to keep it environmentally friendly All the ingredients were fresh. We had the Cilantro Lime Chicken and Balsamic Chicken Avocado. They were tasty and filling! This is located on a corner so it is bright and spacious with table and booth seating. Service is friendly and efficient. First time visiting Just Salad via a Yelp event. Our server was Tracy. I must say her customer service was 100%. She loaded our salad bowls and made sure we got the best experience possible, thank you Tracy. Onto the salad. I opted to build my own salad, which comes with choice of greens and 4 toppings & protein. They offer a variety of toppings and protein, vegan options too. My salad was great, very filling. Is it great that Just Salad opened in Oceanside? Yes, absolutely. But damn are the portions small for the price you pay. My salad cost a whopping $19! My husband paid $30 for a warm bowl (which was TINY) and wrap. Was the food good, sure. There are lots of ingredients to choose from. I was waiting 10 minutes on the line with only one person in front of me. There was 4 workers working only 1 was working for the customers ordering there the others were all working on pick up orders seemed very unorganized ended up leaving. I have ordered the same salad on 3 or 4 different occasions and each time without fail it is always the same, a soupy mess!!! although I always state light it's always a bowl of soup. today was no exception. my croutons were soaked and soggy, lettuce wilted and leaking and chicken soaked how does this happen each time? This is the second time I have ordered from this company (first time was about a year ago) and I honestly don't know why I even bother. The first time they messed up my order and they did so again today!! This establishment is so disorganized and their employees have zero urgency to make people their food. They literally move as slow as snails. With no care in the world! I ordered pickled red onions and got PICKLES. There is also a random chick pea. Which could be very dangerous for someone if they have food allergies. Clearly the food is being mixed in this place and management is not paying attention. I didn't notice the order was wrong until I got back to my job to eat. I also ordered pick up for a specific time which not surprised it wasn't done when I arrived after the pick up time. It's supposed to help you know when your order will be ready, but every time, they're consistently late. Well we went back tonight, a Saturday night at around 7:30, and we were the only people there. It took us a few minutes to figure out what we wanted; seeing the specials was difficult on the sign. We went up to the glass and waited. And waited. There were four people working and not one gave us a glance (my wife says they gave a death stare when we walked in). One person was on their phone.
