I chose the fish taco and my friend had one with shrimp. Fish taco (minus shell) is a bowl with cabbage slaw, avocado, mixed greens and what I'm assuming is either the yummiest wood or charcoal grilled cut of salmon. It was incredibly flavorful with a mild dash of cracked pepper and sea salt on top. I literally ate the bowl clean. It was extremely small (about 1/2 the size of a smoothie from other juice places I like in LI for the same price) and completely watered down. I could barely detect coffee, almond butter, or any of the other ingredients in it. It honestly tasted like blended ice and I would rate it 1 star. The bowls (my boyfriends and mine) were both fresh, and the ingredients were cooked well. I thought there could have been a little more flavor, but overall we both really liked the bowls and would probably go back for them and try their other food. I don't believe they make their juice onsite. I remember really liking the juice at the Plainview location (hence being excited that there was one closer to me opening up), and thinking everything tasted fresh and as it should. And what's up with their grilled chicken? It tastes like a$$. They need to add flavor to it, or perhaps use a regular grill. What they use is dried out roasted chicken. And some of the other proteins (shrimp) lay around for a long time. ‍ I've also noticed when you ask for a dressing or sauce on the side they always forget! Like, always. And if you do so for delivery. I think they "forget" on purpose. Like dude, you're charging me for a 8 LB salad and I'm getting a 1lb salad. At least give me a dressing! Very cheap.
