What a worthless, overpriced store. You would think there would be a single shirt recognizing the Diamondbacks making it to the World Series this year, but no. The store when you walk in is full of Suns and Cardinals merchandise from past seasons. Those teams suck. I would have liked to buy merchandise from the only local team that isn't garbage. Also I wanted to add that it looks like the first review for this place is over 13 years old. That's insane! How is it possible this store is still open? It's in such a fantastic location it could literally be anything else. This place only has horrible reviews going back over a decade. read more

While seemingly an unassuming sports store on the outside, Just Sports of SanTan mall offers a great selection of sports gear from around the states and especially arizona gear. Nothing special, I thought, until I met Amir. Amir provided the most exceptional service i've ever received from a retail store, not to mention his incredible Basketball and Football knowledge. Exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Stayed for many minutes talking and ended up purchasing much more than I went in for! (at a great price too!). I wish I could even comment on the quality of product that they carry in store but they don't seem to adhere to the store hours they have posted. Showed up at 8:25 to find the store doors already locked for the night with employees inside. I guess I'll take my business elsewhere read more

Lame store. Terrible employees, lots of the goods they sell are damaged or kind on wonky misprint's. Stopped in last night and neither employee knew how to complete a transaction so couldn't buy anything. They seemed more interested in talking on their phones "trying to get a hold of the "owner"". Bought a Suns shirt that said Dad #1 on the back but they didn't have a Large so I asked if I could return the medium if it didn't fit my husband. The guy said "of course we have a 45 day return policy." Of course it was too small so I went to return it a week later and was told it's considered a Father's Day item so cannot be returned. He did not care that I was told it is returnable and wouldn't exchange it. It's a very general shirt and was not labeled or warned that it's a "special event" item. read more

Crappy service...actually none at all. Walked into the store and not a single hello or assistance. One employee was on her phone the whole time and didn't even look up. The other employee was also on his phone and watching tv off their monitor there. Walked around for about 20 minutes and not a single word was spoken to is until I was ready to check out and decided to not buy from them. So sad what their work ethics are and customer service. A fairly underwhelming selection of football products. The store is somewhat small, so I am sure inventory concerns impact the product line. Maybe it is just me, but I don't think it would be too challenging to identify customer interest and offer products to fit the need. Baseball season is winding down, so a reduction in baseball products would make sense. Have some minimal offerings for Diamondbacks and a couple of teams that might actually make the playoffs. The majority of people shopping now most likely are interested in football. For the Cardinals, 95% of people who want a regular Cardinals jersey already have one, so focus on the new black alternative jersey (which they did have a nice selection at $80 for a replica and $110 for an authentic). Besides Cardinals products, college football would be a main focus. With schools back in session and the college schedule starting last week that is probably a high interest product right now. In the crazy scheme to make money, I would expect sporting goods stores to have a big selection right now. And considering most people are not from here, a selection of other schools would be nice to see. Again, given the size of the store the number of schools would be limited and I probably would not find my Marshall Thundering Herd on the shelf, but it should be more than only ASU and AU. Having went to Dicks, Champs and the Sports Chalet only to discover none of them had jerseys except a couple offering ASU or AU, I went back to Just Sports. No jerseys, but they did have a few t-shirts. Again, mostly ASU with some AU - then I stumbled on a Wake Forest shirt. That seemed odd...but soon I found a handful of other schools. It was all the same design of shirt, which resembled only slightly higher quality than a Tent City screen-print station, but for my needs it would have to do. I flipped through the one rack about four times hoping something would jump out. Finally worker A tore himself away from the conversation with worker B and asked if I was looking for a particular team. When I said yeah, one that doesn't suck, he only offered the comments "Good luck". The shirts were decently priced - $20 for 2 or $12.99 for one, but the selection made it a challenge to find one - let alone two. read more

Pretty decent selection of shoes. I would say better than Foot Locker surprisingly. They were a lot more friendly and helpful then Foot Locker was as well. They didn't offer larger sizes just like Foot Locker. read more

Good selection of hats with many for $20 or $25. They also have many other great gift ideas. They had lots of Diamondback gear and very little Coyotes stuff. One season was ending and another starting so hopefully thats the reason why, but staff was nice and atmosphere was great. I will be back. read more

Went in to Just Sports at Santan in Gilbert, Az on Wednesday, August 12th to return a birthday gift I received of a shirt that was too small and a lanyard that I already had. The young man working was short in stature and wore a LA Dodgers hat and face mask. He hat two gold chains around his neck hat hung the outside of his shirt. I arrived at approximately 6:25pm so I had 35 minutes before they closed down for the day. I attempted to make conversation with him but I got the impression he wanted me to just stop talking and leave him alone. I informed him I had a gift receipt and wanted to make an exchange. I don't know if he was upset about that or maybe he was upset that I was there close to closing time. I had a hard time finding anything I liked I'm my size but was aware enough to take care of my business in order to be done before closing. I unfolded a few shirts to see if they fit and it seemed to frustrate the employee even more. I really felt bad for what it seemed like I was imconviencing him and I shouldnt even be there. I sure didn't feel like a customer. Amyway, I settled for an item because time was running out. As I was walking away I thanked him. He said nothing back. Half way to the door, I said "thank you" again and got no response. Finally, as I exited the door, I said thank you very very loud as I exited and still no acknowledgement. Usually the employee thanks the customer...I have never felt so in welcomed in my life in any shopping experience ever in the past. I love "Just Sports" and shop there all the time for myself, my wife and my two boys. I usually shop at the Mills mall location but my gift was bought at Santan so I returned it there. The mills location has never been a problem and I've always felt welcome there whether buying, returning, or just looking. I'm not one to complain, but I felt terrible after I left there and will never go back there again as long as that employee is still working there. I've been in customer service for 30 years, and if that were my business, I would be extremely upset that any customer would ever be treated that way in any store. I plan on following up with whoever the owner or manager is to insure no one will ever be treated with such disrespect and rudeness. If you don't like working with people, you probably shouldn't working retail for everyone's sake including yours. I will not penalize "Just Sports" for the employees behavior because if they were aware of how he treats customers, there is no doibt they would be extremely upset with the way he is representing their business.
