She was informed by management that the mold condition did not however affect her unit and it was safe to enter. However, her daughter arrived at the unit today to find items covered in mold. This facility is advertised as climate control. While many of the items may not carry a large monetary value, many have a huge sentimental value (ornaments, handmade items, etc) as irreplaceable items from her mother and sister who have transitioned from this life. The storage unit is not conversing with her and their site (shows a 4.9 rating) scrubs any negative review they receive (they scrubbed my original review when this first happened). So if you are in or around the Olathe area and need storage, stay far away from iStorage.

Then after 3 months they raised my rent by 25%. I asked then if after the increase if the rate would stay the same for one year but they said they could not answer that. All staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a very new owner of a Class A. Going on our first long trip and needed some help with checking air in the tires. Rolled the rig up and Steve had the correct pressure gage, helped me inflate all the low tires by bringing out a compressor and generator. Then checked my house batteries and they needed water and then helped me wash the entire RV along with getting all the black streaks off. Way beyond what is expected. Too bad there are not 6 stars to rate. I feel so much more prepared and there is comfort knowing I'm driving a safe RV. Thank you Steve!!!

They literally lock you inside their facility. If you are past 9 PM. by even a minute, you have to call the Olathe Police Department to come and let you out even though there is a property manager that lives inside the area where all the locked units are and I was re-organizing my unit because it's outside and the lady came over here and was so rude.
