    6 pcs Party Wings
    Jacintha T.

Sweet Chili Mayo Wings The wings were cooked nicely. Good crunchy skin. The sauce was limited. It would've been better if they had tossed all the wings in the sauce, instead it appeared they poured the sauce on once the wings were in the container since the sauce was mainly on the top wings. All in all, they were decent wings. I would probably go back if I was in the area.

Chicken Philly cheesesteak with tomato and lettuce

A very friendly employee (sorry I didn't get his name) greeted us at the counter. As I was checking in on Yelp he asked me what it was all about, so I shared with him about #SummerFoodHalliday. He did not realize folks who check in on Yelp were supposed to get a discount, so he went in the back to ask how to do so. He returned and I ordered a chicken Philly cheesesteak with onion rings and a water. He recommended extra cheese on the sandwich so I readily agreed. The sandwich was delicious, the bread was great too. What is pictured is only half of the sandwich. Next time around I'll skip the lettuce and tomato as they detract from the Philly cheesesteak flavor. The onion rings weren't anything special, more batter than onion and your typical frozen onion rings. Next time I'd either try the fries or just stick to the sandwich.

    Soft shell crab cake sandwich

First time here and what caught my eye was the soft shell crab sandwich even though a friend of mine I had recommended the cheesesteak. I saw a woman in line and asked her what she recommends and she said she and her husband like the cheesesteak as well. But, since it's seafood season and crabs are in season, I chose to go with the soft shell crab sandwich. I thought the value of the sandwich was on point and it was delicious plus nice and crispy. I also ordered the Japanese ghost pepper wings and they were pretty good. I also got the Old Bay wings and they were very tasty. Overall, I'm impressed by the wings because of the size and flavor and will want to try the other flavors next time. Staff was kind and courteous and food came out at a decent time frame. I took a booth right across the place and ate my food. Next time I'll be back for the cheesesteak and think of a flavor that I want to try.

Horrible! The wings were undercooked and old. The nerve of them to even send these wings out of the let alone, serve a customer. I used to like this place. NEVER AGAIN

Very sub par food. Also they forgot my drink. Not the best. Fries were soft. Philly Cheesesteak was lacking taste.

On a brioche roll that was so soft...veggies were fresh. Added some sweet potatoes fries...the only thing that was missing is a couple crisp pickle spears. And let me tell you- Club Auth Rd was jumping this evening....hahaaaa! The pizza place on the corner had a patio section that was given club DC in the early 2000's lol The parking lot was packed on a Friday night. We literally drove around the parking lot for 10 mins trying to find parking... Unfortunately the restaurant didn't allow call ahead orders soooooo.... I insisted we wait in out since we had already taken the ride... The hubs and I were definitely reminiscing about the good ol days...hahaaaa!!! Noted! Will not come back on a Friday night! I kept it classic with the original burger loaded with cheddar, pork bacon, fried onions, mushrooms, mayo, and lettuce, and went combo because... biggest bang for the buck. Fries + fountain soda had my total sitting around $23 with tip--no complaints there. That burger? Juicy, flavorful, and messy in the best way. The fries had that perfect crisp, I just wish they hit them with a little more salt--but nothing I couldn't overlook. Peeped a few new menu additions too. The "roll dog" (aka glizzy) caught my eye. Tried to level it up with chili & cheese but no chili--just cheese. Still might spin back for a plain one with fried onions and mustard. Also saw fried shrimp on the menu... yeah, I'll be back for that. And let's not ignore the vibe--same nostalgic DC/GoGo energy, and the playlist? Always hits. The staff are always patient and pleasant. Apollo still got it.

Not many suitable bar/restaurants and this part of the PGC so it's not like we had a lot to choose from where decent food and a liquor license coincided. I had a Long Island and a Mai Tai. The Mai Tai was better, so I had two. I had a shrimp po'boy loaded with lots of jumbo shrimp and a side of crinkle cuts. Got a juicy morsel of shrimp in every bite and the sandwich was moist and delicious. No dead sandwich space missing shrimp or ingredients. Nice Italian sub roll too. They even gave me a side of Crystal hot sauce for my fries. *smiles* My coworker had a crab cake sandwich which was also delicious. They need to work on the decor in here and update it some (bathrooms are dated but smelled really good), but it's otherwise a very inviting neighborhood restaurant. I'll go back because they can cook.... And they have a fully stocked bar. Ample parking and right across the street from Aldi's.

Nene was our waitress, bartender, superwoman!! she was amazing and I had a chance to talk with her 1-1 like I had known her forever! I ordered whiting with grits and mac with Tisa's Island drink. The drink was delish and mildly strong. Whiting was good, Mac was good (added some salt and pepper tho) grits were like cornmeal style and I liked it! TVs were playing random music videos and the Oriole's game. Music was playing in the back of the cooking area perhaps. This seems like a dope spot for happy hour and late night ventures. They do have karaoke on some nights and a live dj on others. I would come back!

I had ordered Wise Guys on Uber Eats, and this showed up instead and I am SO glad it did. Whoever originally ordered this got a bacon jalapeño burger and a spicy chicken deluxe. The jalapeño burger was a 10/10. I'm not even big on peppers, but it had the perfect amount of jalapeños, great flavor, and was just really well done. I passed that one to my friend, and I took the chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken deluxe was incredible. Perfectly crispy, great sauce, and I'm pretty sure it had bacon on it, which just took it over the top. Everything worked together so well, and I was honestly upset that I hadn't known about this place sooner. The fries were also really good, crispy and plentiful. They remind me of Five Guys fries, but honestly? This felt like a better version of Five Guys overall. I don't even know what the price was, but I can confidently say I would pay good money for both the smash burger and especially that chicken sandwich again. The best part? This place isn't even far from my house, so this is officially my new burger spot. Sorry to whoever lost their order, but thank you for putting me on. I'll definitely be back.

I was told about 10 minutes. The service was cool as originally, I ordered 10 honey BBQ bone in wings and needed to change them for boneless. He let the cook know and updated my order. About 15 minutes go by and the chicken was ready. The Old Bay wings needed more old bay. You could hardly taste any old bay. They were hot and looked the part but didn't necessarily taste the part. They were good sized wings though. Their version of a boneless wing is more of a half-cut chicken tender, so these were much larger than expected. Overall I don't think id be back. I may give their other location a try as that is the original location I saw. The prices aren't bad and the food doesn't take long to cook.

I visited at 5 PM on a Monday, right after they opened. We got some burgers and fries. The Terlingua Burger ($13 for single patty) comes with cheese, beef chili, onion and yellow mustard. The chili didn't stay on the burger. It was basically beef with more beef. Tasty but not that interesting. The Lancaster ($12 single) had bacon, cheese, pickled onion, tomato relish, and arugula. It was a bit sweet with the tomato relish. Pretty good overall. Fries ($6) are "curly-ish" in a shape I've never seen before. I didn't think they would have the right balance of soft to crispy, but they were great. Happy hour includes a $2 tallboy beer which is impossible to beat anywhere in DC. The Montucky Cold Snap was a light lager, like you'd expect. The place is small, but cute. I like the two-person mini-booths and the Tex Mex decor. 20% auto-grat even thought it's not a full service restaurant. They have signs on the table inviting you to get your own silverware, napkins, and condiments. We ordered by QR code and had staff bring us the food and bus the table.
