The food was absolutely amazing. The place was clean and very open, great atmosphere. Went with a party of people and they took great care of us so well. The food tasted like Orleans fish should! Fried Salmon, Philly cheese steak, Shrimp Poboy, Cajun potato salad, macaroni salad and the zesty wings all so good. I definitely plan to make this a regular. The Cajun Potato Salad- Kick, Zesty, potato salad with a twist/spicy & sweet Fried Salmon platter- perfect zest with the salmon-clean tasting and fried with thin batter, the salmons juicy and flavorful. We decided to fulfill our craving for some seafood and it didn't disappoint. We were given some recommendations and the staff were super friendly! We tried the catfish platter with seasoned fries, shrimp poboy, Louisiana bowl, peach crumbl, and lemon cake. Everything was extremely fresh and hot. The shrimp was tender and had a nice flavor to it. The catfish was moist and their remoulade and coleslaw definitely was a great combo. The bowl was seasoned nicely and it's a little spicy (if you are trying other items eat this last as the spice can overpower other flavors). Aight long overdue review here and let's get into it! There's Service, Ambiance and FOOD! Let me start where this place truly shines the service and ambiance. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. You could tell these were people who actually enjoy what they do, and that energy makes a difference. Five stars, no hesitation. The space itself was clean, well-lit, and inviting. For a takeout-forward spot, they've done a great job making the eat-in experience feel comfortable. It didn't feel like an afterthought. Another five stars. Now, the food and this is where I have to be honest. I ordered the Chicken Po'Boy and the wings. The bread was soft, the chicken was fresh, and I appreciated that. But seasoning? It was nearly absent. The sandwich was edible -- nothing offensive, nothing exciting. If you've never had a real New Orleans po'boy, you might be satisfied. But if you've actually been to the Crescent City and experienced the real thing, this will feel like it's missing something fundamental. I settled on 3.5 stars for the food, and I'm being generous because the ingredients themselves were quality the kitchen just needs to be bolder. The wings were actually the highlight of the meal. Nothing groundbreaking, but they delivered. Would I go back? Maybe if I were in the area and in the mood. But having been to New Orleans multiple times, I'd honestly rather wait until I'm back in the city for the authentic experience. Wifey found this place on Youtube, so we took the 15 minutes ride for a proof of concept! First off, the location is good in a strip mall. The service was very good and professional. We opted to eat in and there's plenty of seating with excellent spacing. Level set, whenever I go to Po'boy joints, I always get the oyster because all of the others I can cook at home. Wifey went for the dirty rice and a side order of fried shrimp. For dessert, the peach crumble. Everything was superbly cooked and very flavorful. If you are in a hurry, call ahead because everything prepared to order and very fresh, so your wait can be 5 -15-minutes depending on the order. This place was outstanding! Just stumbled upon it after googling food in waldorf and lucky for us the pics of the food delivered big time! The light batter on the shrimp was super delicious and flavorful. Not spicy at all, for all you white people. The catfish platter -- this shit clapped! I thought they fried it to perfection, we had 5 pieces ranging in size so its probably weighed out for portion size. I would say around 6 oz of fish. The Cajun fries and slaw rounded out the platter and we got a house sauce with it which was like a mustard based dairy sauce. Dont forget your salt for the fish platter! We got another staple the Louisiana bowl with onions, peppers, red beans, rice, and andouille sausage. This had a lil bit of heat but definitely a carb heavy meal. We did get two desserts made fresh in house. The lemon pound cake was tart and sweet, a great balanced dessert. The peach crumble was outstanding. Tons of diced peaches, brown sugar, and cinnamon! I ordered a shrimp Poboy and lemon pepper wings for $40. The food was delicious and very fresh. The shrimp were big and flavorful and I love the French bread. While the wings were good, they were quite small and had feathers on them still. The sauces were tasty. I really liked their take on a tartar sauce. The service was good. This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I wanted to give it a chance. I ordered the shrimp po'boy, wings, Cajun fries, apple crumble, and peach crumble. The shrimp po'boy was definitely the highlight of my meal. I'd give it a 8/10. The shrimp were fried to perfection crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. It's the only thing I would order again. The bread was amazing along with the toppings. I can't wait to order another shrimp Po'boy Unfortunately, the Cajun fries were disappointing. They tasted like frozen fries you would buy from the grocery store instead of fresh-cut or restaurant-style fries. They had a dry, baked texture rather than that crispy, golden texture you expect from freshly fried fries. Even the seasoning couldn't make up for the lack of freshness. The wings were the biggest disappointment. They also tasted like they had come straight from the frozen food section, baked in the oven, and then tossed in sauce. The texture was off, they weren't juicy or tender. Instead, the meat had a processed, rubbery, slightly chewy consistency that didn't taste like freshly cooked wings. The sauce couldn't hide the fact that the quality of the chicken just wasn't there. The apple crumble and peach crumble were okay. I would get it again. Being a southerner, I had to try this place. They are still in the "soft opening" stage so not everything on their complete menu is available yet. Go now, don't let that deter you. They have ApplePay already though. I ordered the NOLO Favorite Poboy, a combo of fried jumbo shrimp and "head sweating" VG sausage. If you can't take the heat, don't order this. If you are a none-mayo person, say no mayo. I like mayo so I had no problem especially since there were jars of Hellman's on their shelves, my fav. The sub roll is perfect, just a little hard like needed. I couldn't eat all the roll because my appetite has gotten smaller as I age but I really enjoyed some of the roll. I ate all the good stuff on the inside of the roll. My partner ordered a shrimp platter that had 10 jumbo size shrimp, VG fries, and a tiny salad. All VG. She ate 6 of the shrimp and save the other 4 for breakfast. We kicked in 6 chocolate chip cookies and our bill came to $41.00 before tax and tip. Stopped in with my mom who is a huge Po' Boy fan. We were both pleasantly surprised. The Restaurant itself is small, clean and inviting. Staff were super friendly and patient while we looked through the Menu. We both decided on the Shrimp Po'boy with a side of Rémoulade. The Sandwiches came out quickly, were pretty large, presented VERY well and frankly, darn delicious. The Shrimp were large, clean and seasoned and fried to perfection. The bread was delicious as well, soft with a slight chew and the Lettuce and Tomato were fresh, crisp and a nice addition. All culminated into a sandwich that at first seemed a bit pricey, but ended up being worth every penny. The Star of the show for me was the Remoulade. It was AMAZING. Ive never had better...Even in the great city of New Orleans. I cannot wait to go back and try the other offerings. This new place is something to watch.
