She responds very quickly through texts and is excellent about notifying scheduling/location changes. We've had three instructors so far. Lisa has designed a program that every instructor follows--which is great for kids since they know what's coming next. Our current instructor is Nina and she is all kinds of wonderful. My toddler was having a very hard time with being in the water without her mom. Nina was kind, very loving and patient with a screaming child. We're 4 lessons in and now my younger daughter happily walks to her teacher. Nina adjusted her lesson to accommodate my children's needs. We chose HSC because we liked the idea of the float test. The kids work toward being thrown into…read morethe water with clothes on and floating on their back until they reach the edge. In reality, you just need to pay attention to whether or not your kid and their teacher are a good match. My son was with one teacher for almost year with very slow progress and no float test pass. I think it was due to the combo of teacher being more cautious type and my son being more scared type. He was a 4 almost 5 year old in a class with 3 years olds. Anyway, it was my fault for not paying more attention and switching him to another class sooner. He is did great with his new teacher and passed his float test (finally). We had to switch him again recently due to scheduling conflicts and I will be more attentive to his progress from now on.

My daughter has learned so much from going to Houston swim club. We tried a different swim school…read morethat was closer to our home but she did not learn anything at all for 6 months. The teachers at this other school were all high school students that didn't have much experience. We decided to take her back to her favorite teacher Mr Charlie at this location and so far she has progressed tremendously. The only thing I don't like is the parking is not that great since it's inside a neighborhood and you have to park in front of houses sometimes.

Automatic billing in a month in advance so you cannot do anything if you are displeased. 3. Do not miss a class... ever, Saint Street will not allow you make it up, move your schedule or get a refund. 4. There are no clear goals or timeline to move on. It's their discretion so you just keep showing up, paying and hoping. 5. Three kids to an instructor so your kid actually only gets about 8 minutes of instruction and then the rest is them sitting on the side. 6. My truck was broken into in their parking lot and all I got was a "sorry"
