Coach Olivia at Pengu Swim School is absolutely amazing. She coaches my 17-month-old daughter, and we couldn't ask for a better experience. Olivia has the perfect balance of being extremely attentive and safety-focused while also making the class fun and engaging for the kids. She does a great job taking control of the class and making sure everyone is safe, but at the same time she teaches at the pace each child learns. Her positive attitude and energy make such a difference. She's always happy, encouraging, and clearly loves what she does. My daughter absolutely loves going to her classes and is always excited when Coach Olivia is there. She truly never has a bad day when Coach Olivia is coaching. Been coming here for about half a year and what a difference it has made. My three year old can pull himself out of the pull anywhere at anytime. He can glide underwater and today we forgot his swim vest for the hotel pool so there he was gliding around and practicing what he has learned in class. He has stayed with Coach Metz this entire time and she has built on his learning and been patient with him throughout the entire process. read more

I have been taking both my kids here for years. Each coach I they have worked with has been kind, patient, and enthusiastic. My daughter's current coach, coach Sabian, goes the extra mile to keep her engaged and happy, and the extra effort shows. On class days, she is constantly asking to go to the pool, and practically leaps out of the car at the start of class. My son started swim classes at about 9 months old for only 2 months. We started going to swim classes this summer again at 3 years old. I definitely love the time I got with him for swim class as a baby. Now he's in the junior class and he absolutely loves it and is learning so much. I have noticed how strong of a little swimmer he is during class with no floats on. I'm very proud of him and hope to continue to see him improve and become a strong swimmer for safety purposes. Our son has taken regular weekly swim lessons at Pengu for over a year now. He also attended a week long swim clinic this summer. We have nothing but great things to say! Their online scheduling tool makes it easy to report absences and schedule makeup lessons. The instructors do a fabulous job making students feel comfortable in the water! We have had a singular consistent instructor per course level. I appreciate that there are also several lifeguards observing for safety purposes outside of the water in addition to the teachers. They have all been tremendously patient with our energetic 4 year old. I highly recommend the week long summer swim clinics if you want to see quick improvements in your child's swimming abilities. This place is amazing. Our original intent when we had our son was to get him in swim lessons as soon as possible, but we ended up unexpectedly moving to Texas, then Harvey, then COVID.... You get the idea. So our kid is almost in kindergarten and still hadn't had lessons. Enter Pengu. Friends of ours had a positive experience, so we signed up. It has been amazing. Our child has grown in his comfort level and skill set seemingly exponentially over just a few weeks of summer clinics. He LOVES the coaches.
