My daughter, Rebel, has been coming to this swim school for over a year. She's learned so much and gained so much confidence from not only the classes but also the staff. From the front desk all the way to her most recent instructor, Coach Diana. She adores her coach! She talks about her and "swim swim" all week. I appreciate how patient and firm they are with her. I believe the staff does a great job making everyone feel welcome and keeping the facilities clean. Even if there is ever a miscommunication (very rare) they are quick to communicate and rectify the matter.

I book this place for a private party for my son's 2nd birthday. I booked and paid up front with Candace who was very sweet and nice . She told us we could bring in any kind of decorations and floatation devices . She also mention I could add and additional hour for the party time later down the line . Three weeks before the party I tried to contact Elmer to make sure Everything was all set for my sons party . It was definitely hard trying to get in contact with anyone there , I finally spoke to a staff member who put my name down for updates on my party and to run my card for the additional hour for the party duration . I was not contacted prior to the event. I finally spoke to Parker the day before my event to make sure everything was in order for the party and to add the additional hour. Parker said he could not add the additional hour , he said there phones weren't working properly, which is why I probably wasn't able to Get in contact with anyone . He mentioned They couldn't find life guards to stay the extra hour or 30mins . He said my card wasn't charged anyways for the additional hour . So that was unfortunate! ! So On the day of the event , the staff told us we couldn't tape decorations on the wall , we had to put decorations on the window. Which was not mentioned by Candace , but we still made it work ! And the decorations came out nice !! Also we couldn't use floatation devices that had a cover on it . ( toddler floaters with sun top) . The major issue I had with ELMER SWIM SCHOOL , was the life vest they give to children that couldn't swim was to tight !! The life jacket left 3 kids from our party with a cut / burn in between the legs where it is strap at . My daughter had to go to the doctor for the cut and so did the others . It was due to the jacket being too tight, it was rubbing against their skin . Of course being in the water the children didn't feel it until the next day . I tried calling staff , no answer as usual. I HAVE DOCTORS DOCUMENTATION OF THE INCIDENTS. The lifeguards put the children on the life jackets and sized them. The facility pool is great and warm . The lifeguards was very nice and helpful. The Facility was clean . Just BEWARE of what is ALLOWED and make sure the LIFE JACKETS /VEST fits your CHILD and isn't too TIGHT.MAKE SURE THE LIFE GUARDS DOUBLE CHECKS SIZING WHEN PUTTING THE CHILDREN ON THE LIFE JACKETS.

We are so excited to have a place to take our son for swimming lesson in the neighborhood. All I can say that from the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly faces. Mr. Elmer his swim teacher is such a great guy. Love how he makes my son feel comfortable. Definitely recommend this place. I know my son will continue to take lessons. Happy son! Happy mom!!

My youngest just completed one season of lessons here. It's a nice facility with seating for parents both within and outside the heated pool area. The staff all seem to be well trained and supported with clear class lesson plans. My child had some teacher transitions mid-season as well as days where 1-2 kids needed extra attention during the class. Typically they have extra staff in the pool to help teachers in these situations but sometimes there were just more needs than trained hands! The staff was very proactive about working with me to make sure my child got time to learn all the skills planned for this semester. It says a lot when the staff can quickly focus in on what's important (learning to swim) and then have the empowerment to offer multiple solutions.

She responds very quickly through texts and is excellent about notifying scheduling/location changes. We've had three instructors so far. Lisa has designed a program that every instructor follows--which is great for kids since they know what's coming next. Our current instructor is Nina and she is all kinds of wonderful. My toddler was having a very hard time with being in the water without her mom. Nina was kind, very loving and patient with a screaming child. We're 4 lessons in and now my younger daughter happily walks to her teacher. Nina adjusted her lesson to accommodate my children's needs. Overall we couldn't be happier and highly recommend you start your swim lessons here!

They got a 30-minute lesson per week and I didn't see any of it since the school brings them there and takes them back. However, my daughter did like it so I kept them in mind and she was comfortable in the water, which is great. She's now 7 and I enrolled her and her 3 year old brother over the summer in the same class. Now, because I take them, I get to see it all first hand. First off, the staff are all helpful and attentive. No problems on that end. There's an annual membership fee plus $120 per month per person, though they do offer a free trial class before you make it official. The cost includes one 30-minute GROUP class (2-3 people) per week and if you want more swimming days, it's another $120 per day each week. I was going to shop around but my daughter liked Wolfies so we stuck with them. You drop them off about 5 minutes before their time slot and the teachers wind down about 3 minutes before the end of the time slot. Because of that, I wouldn't say it's exactly a full 30 minutes you get, but it's close. They do talk to you about your child(ren's) progress or any notes when you pick them up, which is nice. You make an account on their website and it's easy to mark an absence and schedule a make up. You can mark the absence up until the minute before your class begins so that's great. My only complaints: - Because my daughter started in the summer and we had the bad luck to choose a time slot with an instructor who would be leaving 2 weeks later, there were a number of weeks where their instructors kept on changing, especially when school started and one that seemed settled changed because of class conflict. That really set her back from getting promoted to the next level. - Within our 4 months at Wolfies, we've had 3-ish classes that were cancelled on their end due to accidents (vomiting/defecating) in the pool. In fact, 1 of those times, I was en route and the second, we were already there. You do get an automatic make up credit but it can be difficult depending on other commitments. I have both of my kids in the same time slot so I have to hunt for make up classes with 2 openings. - You'll need more than just 1 class per week to see results unless you've got easy access to a pool to practice in. They do offer special classes (every day during certain times of the year, private, and holiday camps) and I highly recommend those if you want to get your child that edge and have the financial means. I saw a marked improvement with my daughter after she participated in summer camp (albeit 3/5 days because she got sick the SUNDAY before - no credit/refund without a doctor's note, by the way) 2 months into classes. Her instructors (2 different ones) for the 2 classes after said she was ready to test to the next level, but then some cancelled classes and instructor changes later, she's now "almost there but not quite ready yet" which honestly irritates me a bit. Progress will feel stagnant eventually from when I've spoken to other parents unless you get in extra time. - Only the front office and upstairs room where parents can sit and wait/watch are air conditioned (but it's not very consistent). The pool, changing rooms and bathrooms are NOT and I am dripping with sweat after I help my kids out of their bathing suits and into their regular clothes. I don't mind too much about the pool area but those changing and restrooms are stifling with full on humidity and heat. The pool has these garage type doors that are opened and... I really hate summer. Hah. Pool area has some air flow so not as bad but not so much for those enclosed changing rooms.. - Thirty minutes isn't that long, especially if your class has the full 3 people in it. That's roughly 10 minutes per student and even less if one of them is upset. Instructors do try their best to give each student an equal amount of attention though. It's been 4 months and my eldest is still Level 2. To think she could have gotten promoted 2 months ago! They do the same thing in every class for that level so the content is predictable. We'll stay here until the year is up and go from there and I really hope she'll get promoted by then if not sooner. The good thing is my kids do seem to like it and the instructors try to make it fun and comfortable for those on the fence.

I had been struggling to find an inexpensive, yet high quality gym that had a good variety of classes to fit my schedule. This location pretty much has classes all day long, I love it! So far I've attended Bodypump and cycling, and I highly endorse both. Something else I love is that they have Les Mills on-demand for the group fitness classes which means you can take a virtual on-demand class anytime there isn't a live class going on. They leave the rooms and equipment open so the possibilities are endless. FYI, the cycling bikes are compatible with SPD cleats.

Here's a more constructive review that clearly explains the problem while offering practical…read moresolutions: Five of the six lap lanes are reserved every weekday from 5:00-7:30 PM for private coaching and swim lessons. That leaves just one lane for every other member who wants to lap swim during the busiest time of the day. It's common to see 10-12 people waiting to share a single lane. In reality, there are effectively no lanes consistently available for general member lap swim during peak evening hours. Members pay for access to the facility too, and the current scheduling heavily favors revenue-generating programs over general member use. This is a solvable problem. A few policy changes could dramatically improve the experience for everyone: * Guarantee at least three of the six lanes remain open for member lap swim at all times, even during lessons. * Use a visible queue board or sign-up system so swimmers know their place in line and don't have to stand around wondering who's next. * Implement a 30-minute time limit during peak hours when others are waiting. * Require circle swimming whenever three or more people are sharing a lane. * Stagger lesson schedules so not all reserved lanes are occupied simultaneously. * Publish a weekly lane availability schedule online and at the pool entrance so members can plan ahead. * Review utilization data to ensure reserved lanes are actually being used. Empty reserved lanes while members wait should never happen. * Survey members and adjust programming based on actual demand rather than assuming current allocation is appropriate. The facility should strive to balance private instruction with the needs of all paying members. Right now, that balance is missing, and the evening lap swim experience has become extremely frustrating.
