They never arrived. Customer service was dismissive and dishonest. Not once did anyone proactively call me with an update, and when I asked for information, I got vague responses clearly meant to stall. This company completely wasted my time and showed zero regard for basic professionalism or accountability. I scheduled this tow in advance and was met with four hours of silence, lies, and no service. I will never use them again and strongly recommend others avoid them as well.

To start this, I know how terrible it is in the DMV to find somewhere to take your car in for…read morerepairs and how terribly car insurance agencies are. However I urge you to under no circumstances to use them for repair services. I heard from some people on the insurance side that they aren't really a repair shop/it might be subcontracted work. I have no idea, but I will say it definitely feels like it might be. I am inclined to also be suspicious that this is the case because of how much of a mess it was from the beginning to the very very chaotic end and every time I called it was one guy. Sometimes they answer on the repair line, sometimes on the towing line, but 9/10 times I only talked to one guy every single time. I know a lot of repair shops have long wait times, but really the length of time is not even what drove me over the edge, it really was the amount of stress and frustration working with them caused me. Constantly said they were waiting for parts, they got the wrong parts, the parts weren't there...then they say they take Progressive, come to find out Progressive has had so many issues with them they will only give them checks, they had 100 ways you couldn't pay them because for whatever reason they don't trust you to pay card and the insurance doesn't trust them to pay them....To get all this worked out genuinely took months and I had already moved out of the city by the time they finally admitted it was done (which took my 2-3 calls a week for 3 months). Any up-charge you get for going somewhere else is worth it because agreeing to have your car repaired here is essentially agreeing to taking on a part time job with this place. Whether or not they are a scam...I don't know. But they do a lot of things that scammers do.

I was introduced to this company by USAA, after waiting for 17 hours for a variety of other DMV…read moretowing companies to show up (yes, 17 hours!!!). The other companies promised timeframes, but didn't show up, and they didn't answer their phones (and they certainly didn't call). Once DMV towing received the job from my insurance, they called me, gave me a timeframe, gave me updates, and were faster than expected. Ray (the driver who helped me) was so professional, mindful, and personable... which is likely a challenge for these guys who deal with people in bad moods in the worst of circumstances all the time. I'm telling you, in a business that is seemingly filled with a lack of customer service , these guys MADE MY MONTH. I'm not ashamed to say I hugged Ray when he finished dropping off my car. I mean, you don't have to hug him, but check out their business ;)
