I made a spontaneous stop here this morning due to me needing help with removing a fused cap on my drivers side tire valve. Rich was quick to assist with him being friendly and generous with his time and effort. He was able to successfully remove the severely fused cap, checked all of my tires, and filled them accordingly with air given the recent cold snap. They install substandard parts made in China with no warranty on the parts from Advanced Auto Parts Store or from Just Tires and Good Year. They refuse to take back the substandard parts. It is explained they do this all the time. I thought they were a quality place but clearly they are not. They also do not charge sales tax on parts, defrauding the state government and the auto parts store does not keep record of what they sell defrauding the Federal government on the tax. They installed 4 new tires on my car. Not only on that day my car was stuck on a lift for loss of power. No one called me until I showed up & had no car or ride. Anyway that was an accident, I understand. BUT when I went to do my brakes, I couldn't get the tire off. WHY? Because they decided it would be a good idea to install a LOCKING lug nut on my back tire. JUST ONE. I called and Glenn said I did it myself. I said ok then I wouldn't be calling you asking for the key. He claimed it was like that. So I said ok then how did YOU change my tires without a key? He said I don't know. Everything was I don't know you did it. Yes, incase on an emergency I did this to myself for fun. I don't want money, I just want them to actually pay attention to what they are doing. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I would give it negative stars if I could. This place will try to scam you--seriously! I am a long-time customer of Just Tires and this is hands down the worst location I've ever been to. They used to have great customer service when Tim worked there, but now they have an older guy who runs around, yet doesn't get anything done. I guess I could deal with him not returning my calls and denying me service on more than one occasion, but I will not tolerate people who lie about their warranty. The Just Tires warranty is about $20 per tire, which if you have expensive tires, is worth it. You pay the cost of the new warranty and that's it. The last time I went there this guy told me that in addition to replacing the $20 warranty, I would also have to pay 25% of the cost of the tire, plus the labor it would take for them to put on the new tire, which would be at least $80. I called another location and they said that is absolutely not true. The warranty is also supposed to cover the life of the tire and he told me it's only a year. I thought my wheel barrings needed replacing, but no, my tires were just oblong and completely out of balance. Go to Morton Grove, Mt. Prospect (near Randhurst) or any other Just Tires. There is some shady stuff going on here. It will be cheaper to tow your car somewhere else than get ripped off at this location. read more

I went to Just Tires to get an oil change. They had a coupon online and when I went there, they said coupon was expired in August. So why do they still the coupon online in November?! So I was going to get the oil changed anyways but they would not take me because I did not have an appointment. There was one car in the bay and the other 2 bays were open. There was one guy working on the one car. The other employees were standing around, laughing, joking and dancing in the empty bays as I drove away. Yes dancing. Apparently they prefer to dance rather than actually do the job they're getting paid for. And I wasn't there at the last minute or anything. This was in the afternoon and they still had hours that they were open. If this is how Just Tires does business, I don't want any part of them and I do not recommend this location. read more

I can honestly say this is the best tire place I have been to. I was stranded at a Vet's office with a flat tire and no spare and a puppy who just got out of surgery. I called around to a couple of nearby places but none of them would let me have my dog with me. Just Tires was .3 miles away from where I was and I was able to drive on my flat to get there. When I got there, the young man at the desk was very helpful and nothing but nice. They even let my poor post-surgery puppy sleep in the waiting room. Not to mention, their prices are much better than Walmart's for the type of tires I bought at least. I was very impressed with the quality and speed of the service as well as the prices. After blowing my tire out on the highway I ended up having to make an appt here to buy a new pair of front tires. I easily booked a 5pm appt time and was out in 1 hour like they had quoted me! The service was fantastic and I didn't feel once like I was being taken advantage of or being pressured to buy something I didn't want. Turns out my actual tire rim was bent (which may have been the result of hitting multiple potholes) and they were weary about putting the inner tube on it, but one of the guys took the time to straighten it out a little bit before he ended up putting the tire back on my car. At 3,500 miles over half the rated life of the tires, the life left is minimal and unsafe to drive. I walked in spoke with Glenn the store manager. When they attempted to remove the bolt for the rear alignment they broke the bolt and told me they could not fix it and that I would have to go to the car dealer to have the bolt replaced. They did credit me to have the work done at the dealer, but I now fear having to drive the car to the dealer. If you cannot fix it if you break it, do not touch it. Flashback to a week ago. I wake up to find one of my tires flat. Sad, but I have AAA, so it really isn't too bad. I have the spare put on and proceed with my day. Fast forward to Sunday when I come into Just Tires to get my tire fixed. I informed them that it was just a tiny screw, so I would only need a patch and then be on my way. $38.50 for a patch? Ridiculous, but whatever, I need my car prepared for my long Monday morning commute. They quote me a time of an hour to an hour and a half, so I call my mom to come pick me up and get lunch while my car is getting fixed. About 10 minutes later, right as my mom is arriving, some dude comes outside and says it will be less than 10 minutes. My mom arrives less than a minute later, but I just tell her to go home as my car will be ready soon. The same dude comes out a few more minutes later and tells me the tire doesn't need a patch, that the nail was so small that it didn't puncture the tire. Hmmm. I was skeptical, but hey, they know more about tires than I do. With no charge, I take my car and go on my way. That takes us to Wednesday night, as I pull out of the parking lot at work. Low and behold, I have a flat tire! The same tire! Big surprise. I had to pull into a local business' driveway and wait over an hour for AAA at 11pm. This brings us to today, where I go into Just Tires to complain/have my tire ACTUALLY fixed. Not only do my complaints fall on deaf ears, I am told it will be an hour to an hour and a half wait and I will be charged full price. I am sitting here now, eagerly waiting for the moment I am out of here so I can file a complaint with corporate Just Tires. TL;DR: improperly diagnosed my tire, caused a second tow, and proceeded to charge me full price and made me wait over an hour for the actual repair. read more

We were on our way home from the airport and got a flat tire. We stopped here just to get the flat fixed and we would install it ourselves in the parking lot because this was a last minute stop in and they were busy. The manager happened to see my dad installing the tire himself and came out and insisted he let us have them install it. They pulled the truck in and installed it. They also gave us a free umbrella! This place is under new management and I can guarantee honest work and they will beat any price. Of course you can't come in and lie and expect them to believe you, they will verify the other price before matching and even beating it. For those who don't know any better.. To properly repair a tire with minor damage, it's necessary to dismount the tire, inspect it for damage, determine if the tire is suitable for repair, and patch it from the inside using proper patching materials and techniques, rebalance your tire & wheel assembly, and reset/reactivate your tire pressure monitoring system (if applicable). That is why there is a cost difference. They aren't going to put a bandaid on it so that you can return and expect free work when it goes flat again. Been going here for years, I won't go to anyone else. Ask for store manager, he will take good care of you and give it to you straight. read more
