Places like this deserve zero stars. This location is a prime example of everything wrong with shady, independently owned service shops hiding under a big-name brand. I came in for a standard oil change and ended up being told I had to pay extra because the oil filter cap was "stuck." Funny -- no other mechanic has ever flagged this as an issue. And guess what? Whether it's stuck or not, removing it is part of a basic oil change. That's literally the job. But instead, they used it as an excuse to charge more -- a total upsell scam. Ended up paying over $300. This location made up their own rules, overcharged me for a job that should've been routine, and then dismissed my concerns when I tried to address it. I trusted Jiffy Lube, and my family has been using them for years -- but this experience has completely shattered that trust. If you're not mechanically inclined, beware: this place will take advantage of you. They rely on customers not knowing any better so they can pad the bill. Brought my car here for an oil change a few months ago, and it was a complete nightmare. They overcharged me, wrecked my engine, and then acted like none of it was their responsibility. My car ran so terribly afterward that I was honestly grateful when it eventually got totaled -- that's how bad their "service" was. First of all they overprice everything, A 20$ vehicle inspection came out to like 35$ because they charge 5$ for the the damn form (other locations Oaktonnfor example do it for 20$ with the form included). I said fine let's do it but before they started the inspection I remembered that my front drivers side windshield wiper blade was streaking so I asked if I go to Honda and get the inserts replaced for 8$ a piece They Said you can't leave. They said oh we already started the inspection and that if I didn't purchase new wiper blades that I would fail the inspection. So they are very aggressive and pushy to get your money. I said only the front wipes but I'm pretty sure that they damaged my insert off the wiper blades on purpose so I would have to get a new one as well ( I know because I had JUST replaced the rear blade. At Honda it's 8$ a piece But here they charged me 25$ per blade totalling over110$ for the inspection, form, and 3 wiper blades that I know two of them were not bad. Overall this place seems very money hungry, non humane, and very aggressive with the way they were basically trapping me there to get my money Said oh you can't leave then you'll fail the inspection Like what? They have never attempted to get us to do anything that wasn't on the maintenance schedule and they have never tried to promote more expensive products. I had my oil changed here 3 times in 2018-2019. The service was fine and no complaint. My 2016 Kia Soul blew its engine at 56,800 miles (nothing to do with service received) the problem comes in when Kia requires all oil change receipts. I do not have these and so I went to their office to get a reprint where I was told they they do not keep records past a year or so. If the IRS comes to your business and wants records they want 7 years of records! All other oil change places we visit were able to reproduce and send to us but Jiffy lube does not?? read more

So I have been steady coming here for the past year. And it's about time I set the record straight. This place is legit. While it seems like they may try to sell you extras like wiper blades or air filters, they aren't. The owner/manager is always in the office. He is up front and tells you what is actually wrong with your car. And he runs a great business. He isn't pushy when you say no to something. If you as the customer want to pay for their blades and have them install them, don't get mad that you will be charged accordingly. It's a business. You can take your car down the road and buy your own lights or blades and do it yourself. But convenience has a price in this right now society we live. Anyway, they are professional, approachable, and friendly. The fact he also runs an adoption shelter for animals is a HUGE plus! The owner Mike went out of his way to help me when my windshield wiper fluid froze and couldn't spray any fluid to clean off the dirt and salt off my window shield. I was driving with low visibility for about an hr until I pulled into the Jiffy Lube and he completely took care of the situation. This has to be the nicest Jiffy Lube Ive ever been to. I arrived and was greeted by a woman who instructed me to go into the lobby, I quickly explained to her that I believed I was low in transmission fluid due to the noise and stiffness of the wheel. She pulled my car in and started changing my oil and inspecting it. A man then came out and said that they finished changing my oil and inspected my steering fluid pump and think it needs to be looked at by a mechanic. I told him I didnt have a regular mechanic so he recommended me a mechanic nearby that he thought did good work. Aside from the great service this location is clean, and I experienced no wait. I took my CRV for a regular oil change and so thats all I was expecting. I didnt know that their flunkies would go under and check my differential fluid. So I was driving around for a week until I noticed there was a leak in the rear of the car. I had a mechanic check and they said that the nuts on the differential was loose. I said I took it to Jiffy Lube and he says to never go there because their techs are flunkies from mechanic school. My suggestion is to change the oil yourself or go to a real mechanic. read more

They keep up with the manufacturers maintenance recommendations on my car and let me know what is due when it's due. It makes it so convenient. Oh, Jiffy Lube. Where do we start with you? Do yourself a favor, dear Yelpers, and read some of the other 1 star reviews of this location. Notice a pattern of word choice? Incompetence. Rudeness. Scam. This place is terrible. And not because of the technicians. No. The problem here is the gorilla who calls himself the manager/owner. He should be managing a dumpster fire, not a Jiffy Lube. Let's paint a picture. Suppose you want to replace the wiper blades on your car. You can do it yourself, but you need an oil change so you figure might as well kill two birds with one stone. They handle the oil change just fine, nothing wrong with that job. The wipers are a different story. Simply put, the worker put on the wrong size wipers and now they do not even reach the surfaces they're supposed to be keeping clean. Okay, I think to myself, this seems like an honest mistake. Let's go clear this up with the manager. I walk in to speak to him and immediately have trouble getting his attention. His eyes searching for puppies to strangle. Or a litter of kittens to drown in a bath tub. I explain that the wipers installed at this location are not working properly because their size is wrong. He tells me I'm wrong. He tells me they do not sell this particular set of wipers at this location. He tells me that this mistake would never happen here. The audacity. I ask him to look me and my car up in their system, as I was just there. There should be some kind of log. He does. He can't find anything. You know what else he can't find? My business. First of all, the manager took his sweet time opening the garage door, I was in my car waiting for a long time even though there were no other customers. Secondly, when I told him that all I wanted was my tires checked, he stopped me from going in. Then, he tried to charge me $5. I've been to plenty of other Jiffy Lubes where they check the tires for free without any other services done. On top of that, many other oil places provide that service for free as well. He told me get out of my car, and when I asked why, he said condescendingly "The air is inside, I can't fill the air out here can I?" Then he just left and put in my car's information into the computer without my consent. Then came back and rudely said "yea, you're gonna pay $5". I brought my car in a week ago for an oil change an hour before they closed. Nothing was wrong with my car when I entered. Somehow the antifreeze hose adapter nipple had broken off, while the owner of Jiffy Lube was conducting an oil change on my car. He claims that it just popped off onto him without him, touching it, which I do not believe after speaking to three different mechanics who have verified that that part does not just pop off, unless something is wrong with your car or someone is screwing with it. this broken piece cost me $400 to repair which Jiffy Lube did not even offer to do so, they advised me to drive my car 30 miles away to my mechanic instead of towing it which I learned could've killed my motor. After contacting the owner to try and get compensation for the part, they broke on my car, he was rude and belittled me the entire time saying that I don't understand cars nor does my mechanic understand cars. He said if he had broken some thing he would've fixed it, which is a fucking lie, considering Jiffy Lube can't keep cars overnight or perform the service that I needed on my car, after they broke it. They refused to pay for the bill, so now I have to sue him if I ever want to see the $400 I don't have. Don't let these people touch your car. read more

My car is 6 years old now and It has always have oil change in this location since I hit 30k dealer mileage limit (so approximately 2,5-3 years ago). Even now when I moved 10 miles away I still drive there purposely to change my oil. Couple things I love about this location: 1) you don't need a coupon there because if there is one they will always add it for you to save your money; 2) they won't rip you off! If there is something that you may have to check or fix they will tell you, but never push you; and because I'm a girl I used to always check with my dad if things that they were saying were correct but not anymore; you can trust them! 3) they are super nice and the location is clean; 4) never ever during all those years they messed up my car! I will never EVER go to this place ever again, and i have told all of my friends the same. My friend got a normal check up and oil change at this place - - done by the owner - - and they screwed it up royally. They added water to her battery (as said on the receipt) and by the end of the day, it was dead. We looked at the battery and it said CLEARLY in bold letters "DO NOT ADD WATER" we went back and he claimed that the battery was weak, and adding water is a normal practice. i told him that every source i read, including the honda dealership I called, and the manufacturer of the battery said that water is ok, as long as the particular model of battery doesn't SPECIFICALLY SAY that you can't. I insisted that he replace the battery. He said "absolutely not." He had the balls to keep arguing that it was fine on ANY battery dispite the rediculously clear labeling. He also tried to get me to talk to his distributer - of their brand of batteries - of which all of their batteries can have water added - like it made any difference. Finally after like 2 hours of arguing that they effed up my friend's battery, he finally (begrudgingly) gave us a new battery, saying as long as we go away. When i told him i was never coming back again, he said "Good! i cause i never want to see your face here again!" I mean come on, it doesn't take a freakin genius to see that when something says clearly not to do something, you shouldn't do it anyways....... read more

I agree with previous reviewer. Had a bad experience with the shop owner after they put the wrong size filter on my vehicle. After stating how he has been changing oil for a million years and no incidents, he told yelled at me about my vehicle being old and these things happen. The wrong filter caused my oil cooler to blow out and cost me $350.00 to repair. After going back to them owner stated that correct filter was used and both filters, big and wrong small size were interchangeable per his reference book (although there was asterisk next to my filter). He pushed me off to contact his filter distributor with an 800number and they of course sides with him. I would avoid this place at all costs. Better to go to your dealer then to these hacks, because when they mess up your car, you are on your own. read more

I left work early to get some lights changed, and when I pulled up I saw an employee carrying some personal things to his car that was parked inside the garage.
