Due to a few days earlier of an inspection of the tires1 tire was replaced after the owner of the car was told (3) of the tires were really bald. Then an appointment was made for a return a few days later to replace 1 possibility 2 more of the tires. Due to a great cost the car was returned a few days later for the replacement of the other (2) tires. Upon arrival, Ms Ortiz, a manager accepted the car after I explained that tire situation. After about an hour & 1/2 the vehicle was now ready for check out. An Assistant Manager , Lala called out to close out the purchase. I have to say this location is in need of much better service to the customer. NO I mean NO manager, Supervisor or Cashier should ever be talking on the phone to a customer, be eating food(donuts), accept a walk in customer information while still on the phone. This behavior is totally unacceptable & a disrespect to both the customer on the phone & the customer standing before the Manager. It appears that much more training is needed here. Also, the cell phone was picked up & used while the customer was standing & patiently waiting. This was serious multitasking yet not at all appropriate or fair to the customers. Hopefully, these matters will be addressed & appropriate customer service will be provided as soon as possible. The environment was clean read more

I wish I could give this location zero stars. Once upon a time they were outstanding, now I would not recommend Just Tires in Lansing for anything! Their customer service is none existent. The entire time I was there, the man behind the counter ( I think his name is Larry, tall, slim, older man with a mustache) told me everything he could NOT do for me. He had a negative answer for every request. My husband and I came in for a tire rotation on Saturday 1/19/19 around 2pm. My husband asked if they could also look at the tie rods and ball joints while the car was on the rack because there seemed to be some play while driving. The guy said "we won't be able to do that because of weather, there is so much snow and ice on the roads." My husband replied that shouldn't be a factor, the streets are clean now and we just brought the car out, we live nearby. The guy just continued to go back and forth with my husband about how he wouldn't be able to do it. A few minutes later we were told the car needed two new tires. Larry asked if I had my receipts for the tires so he could determine if the warranty was still valid. I asked if he could look up my paperwork in the system. His response was no because I bought the tires at the Burbank location. I asked if he could call Burbank, Larry told me they probably wouldn't answer the phone. I asked if he could try. He continued to tell me how the Burbank store doesn't answer their phone. He did not call. Whenever I go to the Burbank location they are always able to lookup my information, even if the service or product was provided in Lansing, no problem. That is certainly not the case here. My husband asked to speak to the manager, Jannet Ortiz, she told us they had to call the company administrator and there weren't that many people around on Saturday and they also don't answer the phone. Again I ask, can you at least try to call them. (Why would you repeatedly tell a customer about your company's terrible phone support? ) I told them I'd check my glove compartment for paper work and I did find it. Larry told me one of the tires was no longer under warranty. I was then told the serial number of the other tire did not match the number they received from the administrator ( yes he finally called and guess what? They answered!) so he couldn't honor the warranty. Again telling me what he can not do. I continued to explain I definitely purchased my tires from Just Tires, maybe they gave you the wrong number, are you looking at the correct receipt, is there anything else you can do etc...his response, no I can't do anything. We persisted so he continued reviewing the paperwork and he found the correct serial number for the tire. We asked him to change the tire under warranty and we would go to Burbank to buy the tire. His response was "oh so you'll get the tire under warranty here but you won't buy the other tire here?" That was the last straw. Why should I buy a tire from you when you have gone out of your way to show me I am not a valued customer. You want to take my money but provide no service. I told him I won't do either here, I'm taking my business to the Burbank location. I stopped to tell the manager how disappointed I was with the service or the lack thereof. She did not look up from her computer once while I was talking to her. When I asked why she was not engaged in the conversation she said " I hear you ma'am". Many years ago this was an excellent shop with excellent customer support. Now they just want to sell products and services but go out of their way to NOT support or service these products. This is why I started patronizing the Burbank location. The only reason we went to this location is my husband did not like the way my car was handling and we live nearby. NEVER AGAIN! This location made me feel like they were doing me a favor speaking to me. Go to the Burbank location. The manager Joe is exceptional. The employees there are very knowledgeable, provide premier customer service and put their customers needs at the forefront of their business model. read more

Came here for an oil change. 1st time, good... I'm thinking this may be my new spot. 2nd time I noticed a little oil in my driveway... 3rd time more oil. I Googled my VW Passat and find an old recall for o-ring and a present recall so I go to the VW dealer in Highland. I find out the oil leak has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RECALL. The mechanic showed me the plug where the washer was replaced with one that doesn't fit causing the oil leak! My driveway is f***Ed and I avoided the dealer because of the price to fix the O-ring, when Just Tires caused it!!! You'll never get my business again! read more

For my next oil change I decided to give just tires a try. They were able to get me in quickly and service my car. I was quoted a price of 24.95 plus tax. I thought what a great price. Then they asked me to sign a estimate. Low and behold the price changed to$31.51 total. After reviewing it they added a $3 disposal fee for the oil filter and $1.75 shop fee. These junk fees are ridiculous. Makes me wonder if I ever got anything done here what other junk fees they have. In the future I will take my business elsewhere. Purchased tires on 09/26/20. Installation took approx 90 minutes. Service was fast. Staff was professional.

Jason was very nice and helpful, he ordered a wheel for my vehicle, when it came in, he called, but when I went to get It, he wasn't there. The young lady was a bit on the rude side, no problem , she rang the order up and informed me that there was a $25 core charge since I wasn't turning in a wheel that would be sent to the company to be refurbished and sold again. I have never heard of anything like this before ‍. The purpose of the purchase, was for me to have a spare tire, so I didn't have a extra wheel and it had to be the same wheel like they ordered. INFINITI wheels are expensive, so I don't understand why they charge anybody for something that was never theirs.I went to have it put on, I was told that it wasn't the same as the others, so I don't blame him for that. It was ordered and the picture on the site was correct, they sent the wrong one, so they got their wheel back and I got my money back. But, it's not only Just Tires who charges the core charge, I was told that all the tire shops do, another one told me that the core charge for the correct wheel would be $100.00 and the wheel $525.00 ‍. I will buy my tires for Just Tires and I do look forward to working with Jason again. read more

I was first skeptical about having my car serviced here since I have never heard of the company, but I assure you that when Goodyear stands by something it is very well worth the visit. I bought 4 tires, a 3 year warranted alignment and the road service warrant for all 4! The best thing about this experience was the technicians and service advisors. An exceptional customer service came from advisor John at the front desk doing a fantastic job explaining what procedures were taking place. He was honest, patient and very informal about all the details! None the less, the service was extremely fast. I was in for maybe an hour to have a full set of new wheels & alignment. If you like convenience, affordability and quality; take your service needs here. I'll be their customer for as long as they are open! read more

Horrible wait time! The customer service attendant said it would be 30 to 40 minutes wait instead it was 3 hours and 15 minutes. I went to get a tire repaired with my own brand new tire in the trunk. The lady said it would be $23.00. A bit pricey but ok cool I expected it. Three hours and 15 minutes later they tried to charge $75.00! What insane! After requesting to speak with the lady the new man replied she had left for the evening and did not want to bother her. To wrap this story up I had to threaten to call the police to get my keys because there was no way I was going to be ripped off that way. They finally took the price back to where they quoted me. But didn't even apologize for that extremely long wait! I will never go back there. They should change their sign from low prices and fast service to scams and rip off!! read more

The tire store was quick however that isn't always the best practice as they probably should have checked over their work more closely. Soon after getting on The highway I saw my hub cap flying away to the side of the road. When I called to tell them the store manager said hold on I'll check, he came back on the phone and said their service guys said it was missing when it came in. Total bs!! I have been a Just Tires Lansing, IL customer for the past 8 years and received good service until a most recent LIFE THREATENING experience. On 02/05/2018, I took my car in for 2 new tires, an alignment, wheel balance and tire rotation for a cost of $424.66. On 02/08/2018, as I was turning into the drive through at Dunkin Donuts, my front passenger tire (the new one that Just Tires installed 3 days earlier) completely fell off!! I was scheduled for a road trip to Indianapolis that day and praise God I was not on the highway when the tire popped off or I may not have lived to warn others. I called Triple A who towed me to Pep Boys that was located directly across the street from Dunkin Donuts but for 1.5 hours, I was literally stuck blocking entrance to the Dunkin Donuts. My car could not be pushed or moved because everything locked up when the tire fell off. Pep Boys informed me that my ball joints and brake line had broken and my axil was out of place. The repairs cost $782.54. Later that day, I contacted Just Tires and spoke to the store manager, Janet Ortiz. I explained what happened and told her I had pictures of the vehicle stuck in the Dunkin Donuts drive through. Ms. Ortiz sounded appropriately apologetic and assured me Just Tires would take care of my cost to Pep Boys. She requested that I bring in the bill and send copies of the photos at the scene of the breakdown. I submitted both items as she requested. On 02/12/18, I was shocked to receive a call from Ms. Ortiz informing me Just Tires was not going to take responsibility for their negligence. She stated the ball joint broke because I hit something which was absolutely untrue. The pictures I sent clearly showed my vehicle did not bump or hit the curb of the drive through as there would have been tire track marks in the snow. Ms. Ortiz then went on to say she had contacted Pep Boys and they told her the damage to the ball joint came from me hitting something which was a total untruth. I connected Pep Boys on a three way with Ms. Ortiz and the representative stated he did NOT inform Ms. Ortiz that the damage was due to me hitting something. Ms. Ortiz had simply lied. Ms. Ortiz then stated she contacted the Lansing police and they informed her I refused to allow a tow truck that was sitting in the lot to tow my vehicle to another repair shop. Again, she lied. Since Triple A was taking so long and I was blocking business for Dunkin Donuts, the Lansing Police asked if I would use a tow company that was located a few minutes away. I AGREED to use the tow company at a cost of $150 however, the tow company wanted cash and I only had a credit card so they could not provide the service. The tow truck referred by the Lansing Police was not sitting in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. I asked Ms. Ortiz why she was being dishonest and attempting to not take responsibility for an error that could have cost me my life. She again stated the tire fell off due to me hitting something and the ball joint was in good shape when the repair was completed 3 days earlier......again she lied because I DID NOT HIT ANYTHING. I was simply driving into a Dunkin Donuts drive-thru to get a cup of coffee. I received a call and then a notice from the Goodyear claims department that "there does not appear to be any negligence on the part of the store that would have caused the condition I reported". I am shocked that a reputable company would attempt to shirk their responsibility for poor service that could have ended in dire consequences for a customer, but for the grace of God. We went into Just Tires frantically at the beginning of our road trip because the tire pressure sensor alarm went off. The staff was super helpful in checking the tire pressures and for any nails/rips in the tires. They also took the low pressure tire off and dunked it in a water bath just to be sure that there weren't any damages that couldn't be picked up by the naked eye.
