When visiting Just Tires at 6051 Capital Blvd Raleigh, NC 27616 on a Wednesday afternoon. I was greeted with a big welcoming smile by LT the Assistant Manger. I will start with normally my husband handles all automotive responsibilities. BUT I needed to get my tires rotated and balanced and it had been put off from getting long enough and we were taking a long trip to see family in NY the following week. Therefore, it was up to me to take care of business. Again, I arrived and THANK goodness for LT! He immediately came outside checked my tires and told me per Just Tires policy my tires tread was so worn down they weren't allowed to balance and rotate and I was in desperate need of two new tires. Completely lost I asked what we needed to do. LT explained options told me about different types a treads of tires and honestly went ABOVE and beyond to help me and make sure I understood all options. I picked the tires needed. Unfortunately, they were not in stock but LT said he could order them and make me an appointment for the following day. He assured he would be working and all would be taken care of. DONE! The following day again, I arrived to LT's friendly smile welcoming me in and taking my keys and getting everything handled. After the job was complete I went to pay with our Just Tires card as my husband has been going there for years. To our surprise the card wasn't working. We tried over and over again. Finally called my husband and he called customer service and all was support to be handled. LT and I then proceed to try again and again - NOTHING. By this time the store hours was nearing closing and still I was able to pay with my card. LT then called customer service himself and after what seemed like years we talked through the problem and all worked out and I paid. With all that being said LT is the MVP! I was incredibly pleased with his professionalism and dedication to providing outstanding service and going above and beyond to help me throughout the tire purchasing process. I needed new tires. After being disappointed by the lack of professionalism and good customer service from "them Boys", it was a pleasure to take my business to the Just Tires located on Capital. I was greeted with a warm smile and a little humor from Robert, whom I assume was the manager. I told him what I needed, he assisted me in picking out two, and although only one tire was available, he came through on his promise to have other tire there the next day. The truck with my tire was late, but I got my two tires professionally installed and enjoyed the friendly conversation and relaxed atmosphere inside while waiting. I called to get a price for a used tired, and was told for my size that is it would be $40. So I headed in amd when I pulled up the guy said $70 to $75. I told him I had literally just spoken to someone on the phone 15 minutes prior to arriving who told me $40 yet he insisted that $70 was the cheapest they had for my tire size. The shop i usually go to is $40, but they are closed on Sundays. I would not have even bothered driving out if they had said $70 on the phone. But since i was there and because my usual shop was closed, i didn't really have many options. It seemed that i would be a victim of theor price gouging and lies. So they took the tire back to the shop, handed me a hand scribbled "ticket" which was just crude writing on a ripped off piece of paper and told me to go pay. I did after repeating the situation to the clerk and asking who it was that answered the phone when i called and was told that "all of the guys outside" answer the phone. I got my receipt and went back outside to wait. A different guy came up and loosened and removed the lugnuts on my spare after jacking up the car. He left the spare hanging lopsided on the axel and started helping another lady who had just arrived. I waited, and waited. Fuming about the price change the whole time. After a good half hour, the other lady had been helped and had left, they were starting to pull all the jacks inside and all the air hoses, and still my tire had not been brought back out from the shop. The workers that were still there (most had left at this point) were just standing around talking and laughing. I asked several times where my tire was and was repeatedly told that it was being worked on and would be out soon. After being there 45 minutes, I had had enough and told them that I just wanted a refund. I refuse to pay almost double what I was quoted, and what i can get somewhere else, AND be left waiting on something so simple for going on an hour, especially when I was the only customer left at this point and the remaining employees were just standing around. I got my refund and told the clerk I needed my rim back. I had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes to get it too. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I had been there with my daughter once before when she got a flat. We had arrived at 4:39 and they told us they were closed even though the signs and the website both said they were open until 5. They obviously do NOT care about customers or customer satisfaction. They are price gouged, liars, and very poor servicemen!​ read more

The service was great greeted me with a bottle of water. Im from out of town use to bring in and out for an oil change but it took 30 minutes to be seen and another 30 minutes to have my oil change completed. also I was told over the phone when I called in it would be 55.99 plus they texted me a 15 dollar coupon. but when you get here based on your mileage under 75,000 is 89.00- 124.00 dollars and over 75,000 is 91.00 - 126.00 dollars. I needed up spending 97.57 and I thought I was coming to the cheapest location because of what I was told over the phon. I'm not use to spending no more than 60 dollars on full synthetic oil. Valvoline and jiffy lube was cheaper. read more

I took my car in to have them check out a slow leak at Just Tires where I bought the tires. They found a nail. It was in middle of tire tread and no where near the side wall. Dude said it was repairable, said tread on tire was good, but said tires were passed shelf life. Said Goodyear policy is to not repair old tires. He said he could replace the tire, but would have to replace both back if he replaced 1. I've bought about 8 sets of tires from this place. They've given me similar run arounds in the past. Got a guy at the local service station to repair the tire for $30. I'll definitely go see my local service station for my next set of tire. Just Tires and Goodyear will not get anymore of my busines. read more

Came here to get a tire repaired. Tires were bought here during my first visit here and still under warranty. Waiting almost 2 hours with my vehicle sitting on the lift in the bay for them to come and tell me that I needed a list of expensive repairs done to the vehicle itself. Can't say I'm surprised as I watched them do the same to almost every other customer in the shop while I was waiting I don't recommend having these guys do any mechanical work. I used them once before only because my regular mechanic wasn't available only to find out they did the job incorrectly. Had the tires not come from here and been covered by the warranty I'd never step foot here again. You sit waiting forever and they're searching your vehicle for something to get more money for. It has been over one month since my last 1 star review. I actually don't really like to write negative reviews believe it or not. Unfortunately, some businesses just exist to piss off the consumer. This is one of them. I got four new tires from this Just Tires location because it came highly recommended from one of my car friends. The transaction was mostly normal, and the prices here are competitive. The wait wasn't overly long. This was easily a five star experience. Then, my car was returned to me, and I noticed the technician got into a fight with my hand brake and pressed the button way too hard. The button is now permanently pressed in pretty deeply, and it's pretty inconvenient to use. I pointed this issue out to Wade at the desk, and do you know what he said? He first insisted that the button doesn't come out further than what's pictured. After I wouldn't budge on the fact that this is false, Wade proceeded to tell me that the button was out too far previously. This is so fucking pathetically stupid. I just really can't even with that. My car is still drivable, but it also would still be drivable if he fucking scratched the paint! I frankly put this shit just one level above that. I'm sure that this was a freak incident and they're typically not this level of stupid, but Wade's aggressive attitude is just not okay. Fuck this place. Giving it even 1 star is an act of charity. read more

Helped me find the right tire prices, didn't try to sell me on 'em or sell up. Waited for me to figure things out, ensured I got the tires same day and found me a better deal than I did anywhere online. The group got the job done in a timely manner and stayed after closing to make sure it was all done (checked alignment and everything) incredible great job by the entire team and the business. On Saturday February 1, 2020 I get there at 9a with an appointment. They first tried to deny my road hazard claim saying that I have had too many tires replaced. Once they gave up with this, they made me wait ~2 hours for an oil change and for them to tell me that they need to order a replacement tire. Second visit of the day was to have my replacement tire installed. I arrived at 4p and they take my keys. After a few minutes they tell me that it is going to be a while as there are a few people with an appointment in front of me. I reminded them that I also had an appointment. They basically told me that it doesn't matter. Last visit here in 2019 they lost the key to my lug nuts and the solution was to replace all of my lug nuts with non-locking ones. read more

I Had a headlight bulb burn out, and needed to get it replaced before driving on a Monday. I called the business first, gave them the type of vehicle I drove, and asked if they could replace the bulb. The answer was a very polite, "Sure, bring it in!" After waiting a few minutes before the car went into the service bay, the same friendly clerk said they didn't have the part in stock but he had it on the way. I thought to myself -"this is why I called - to make sure I didn't have to wait for a part." The customer waiting area does have DIRECTV, free coffee, and today's newspaper and magazines. Supposedly there was free wifi, but I could not get it to work on my phone. I waited over 90 minutes for the part to arrive and then be installed. The clerk was pretty good about keeping me informed on the progress of getting the part. Heard him makes two phone calls inquiring about the part's whereabouts. 4 stars for being nice and having a good place to wait - 2 stars for the length of time I waited = 3 stars. read more

I pulled up in front of the garage doors and asked if I could get my tires checked for air pressure. The attendant said sure and got the air hose. He opened the door to see the proper PSI that is located in the drivers door. He went to every tire and added or removed excess air. He said you are all set, he thanked me , and said stop by anytime. This shop needs to understand the sign, "Just Tires." You cannot have a store that has sign that carries the meaning of having tires, and yet when it comes down to it, you don't have the tire or tires. If a person has a Hyundai 2017 Elantra, and you don't have the tire or tires to match the car. Then you're not Just Tires. It makes no sense to have someone drive back and forth because of your incompetence as a company store. And treating persons differently because of accent or background really need to learn diversity and acquire customer service personality. read more

I pulled up I was having an overheating issue... And asked a guy on break outside the store if they had a spigot I could put some water in my truck. He took care of me from start to finish filled the truck up for me even put some re anradiator reservoir... And would not even let me pay him for his help! I stopped by to get tire air pressure checked when my car wouldn't restart. The manager & a mechanic checked my car stating I needed a battery. I was quoted a price, which I never saw on screen. Been going here for 4-5 years. Service usually pretty good. They've had change of management recently and everything has changed. I bought brand new tires for both of my vehicles in the 15 months and when I went for oil change, they told me i need 2 new tires. Mind you, I go to them regularly for my oil change and balancing of tires and this never came up. I spent close to $600 for all 4 tires for each vehicle. Now they want me to buy 2 more tires and my tires should still be new. Manager refused to be reasonable so I'm done with them. (Can't bust them for this but Apple Maps had their old location) Called to find where their real location is and to confirm my appointment. I was then told they gave away my tire to another person earlier today. The only excuse the guy had was he didn't realize there was another appointment for these tires. So they booked me when they should not have. Top it off another location told me that this particular tire had to be shipped from PA since no store in NC had any and it would arrive in a week. Tire got a major leak on way to the gym, to the point you could hear the air coming out quickly. After changing to my spare tire and calling different places, I decided to go to this location because they were priced about the same, but would be able to order tire I needed and put on quickest, which was a big deal because it was my son's birthday and we were supposed to have a whole day planned. When we arrived, Joel came and looked at the tire, said pull the car up by the garage. He had the technician fix the the hole, and then Joel put the tire back on...and didn't charge me for anything!!! He shook my hand and said Happy Birthday to my son, who was all smiles knowing his day wouldn't be spent at a shop. Thank you Joel for the experience and not taking advantage of the situation to just sell me something!!! Make a 8:30 am appointment to have oil change, on a Saturday, and I would be waiting in the store for it When I got there, I saw 3 cars at the store. I was told it would be a 2 hours waiting period because of cars scheduled in front of me. Again, there were a total of 3 cars at the store. Two hours came and when, and my car is still not ready. At the 3 hour mark, one of the counterperson, instructed one of the techs to take my car from the garage area. How long was my car completed, but sitting in the garage area? Now, my car is sitting in the parking area, but nobody tells me the car is ready. 10 minutes later, I go to counter, and ask about the status of my car. I was told the work had been completed. I pay and leave. If they know a customer is waiting in the store, why am I unnecessary waiting. Very displeased with customer service. read more

Today I purchased 4 new tires from this facility. I have a very small car. When I walked in there was only 1 person sitting in the lobby and another person standing having a discussion with an attendant while their car was being rolled out. A few minutes later the standing customer left with her car. I asked one of the attendants how long would it take for my tire install. He said there was only 1 person ahead of me so probably around 45 minutes. Soon after I sat down 2 more customers showed up, and then later a third. We all sat waiting until the sun went down. After about an hour and 15 minutes I asked the attendant about my car. I also told him one of the people that came in after me has gotten his car back and left. The attendant said oh what he had done was very small. Meanwhile I waited another 30 minutes and my car was finally done. So the 45 minutes I was told turned into 1 hour and 45 minutes. My conclusion is I don't think this place is managed very well. They don't understand the importance of priority. In my opinion it doesn't matter how much work one car has over the other, first come first serve should still take precedence. At the very least they should have been mindful of the time each person has been waiting with respect to what that person is having done. I asked the actual mechanic what took so long. He said he had to keep helping other mechanics with things they cant do. Once again, this is a management problem. This mechanic should have been told at some point to go ahead and get your car done, I mean after all it shouldn't take half a day to change 4 small tires. I think me and my sons could have done it faster. And the whole thing about, well this persons car didn't have much to do so we put him ahead of you. Well thats like being is a grocery line and the person behind you has less stuff so the cashier says hold up, let me take him first. WTF??? So anyway, beware if you're on a tight schedule. I made an appointment on Saturday night for 11 am Sunday through the national appt center. Just Tires were the only retailer that stocks the Michelin tires I prefer on my truck. I arrived early and told them I could leave it. I was told that it would be ready about one pm because they had a pretty full roster. I called the store at 3 pm asking if my truck was ready. The attendant tole me that it would be another 45 minutes, so I headed to the store from my home outside Wendell. At 6 pm , I finally rode out of that place with my new tire. The staff was unconcerned about their poor pace, or their lack of scheduling skill. Luckily, the tire is still on the truck. read more

Very nice of them considering I did not buy my tires there!! AND the difficulty level of mounting 35's on on 19's is extreme ... and it's a risky job. Not quite sure what these other people are speaking about..maybe it's just them. Anyone who thinks anyplace is going to order a part(because you called ahead of time), is obviously not familiar with the service business world. I went there today unannounced to have a screw removed from the right rear tire. The gentleman at the desk(Wade) informed me in would be an hour. (Which is very very good, especially for a Monday morning). Restroom was clean. There was coffee and TV available(if you're into that). Within 45 minutes my vehicle was in/out. When Wade called me up to the counter, and as I was pulling out $$ to pay, he said N/C. The screw had not penetrated too deep to cause any issues. Very rare these days to find any place that #1. Would not at least charge a minimum. #2. Be completely transparent and honest. Will definitely be returning for anything that they offer that I will be in need of in the future. read more

Rep doesn't even look up from his computer, made me feel like I was "disturbing' him, and then promptly picked up the phone to answer a call when I was in the middle of a sentence. He did everything he could to get me not to stay. Final straw was when he revealed the price it was almost double everyone else. Glad I went to Black's Tire instead , they are professionals!
