We were in the area visiting and my husband picked this place for us to try. I'm glad he did! The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed that they aren't overly trendy or pushed for "Instagram worthy" decor. It was calm, heart warming and people of all ages were present. It has a "pull up a chair and join us for food" feel, complete with a mix-match chairs and a mix of vintage and modern pieces on the wall. You order at the register and then they bring out the food to you at your table, which we didn't mind. I don't think we waited long for our food. They brought out a trio of syrups for us: a standard syrup, a seasonal syrup, in this case blueberry flavored, and I believe they called the third one a waffle sauce, which is made in house. The sauce reminded me of milky cinnamon bun icing. I ended up layering all 3 on my waffle and I enjoyed them all My husband ordered the pecan waffle basket and I ordered the smaller version with a blueberry flavored "petite waffle." I was pleasantly surprised that my waffle was light and airy, definitely not your dense feeling waffle like some places, and it did not sit heavy at all! My waffle was not overly sweet and my bacon, scrambled eggs and side of potatoes were all well seasoned and delicious. I had the hickory bacon, which was cooked well and tasty, and my husband had the peppered brown sugar bacon and it made me wish I had ordered it, too! I definitely did not feel guilty eating this food and even though my plate (pictured with the orange juice) appeared rather bare, it was filling for me. This was a amazing place to eat waffles! We came here so I could have some gluten free waffles. I had banana fosters, and they were so good! My kids loved it here. They said that these are probably one of the best waffles they've had. The staff was quick and polite. We came on a Saturday morning, and we only had to wait 20 minutes. Talk about YUM! Reminiscent of Waffle Champion in Oklahoma City, this place has a wide variety of waffle dishes to try, along with many other breakfast items. I bought the Texas Benedict waffle, and holy cow, it was delicious! The only downside is this place has an incredibly long wait with low waitstaff, so things don't move along quickly. If you're willing to wait though, you're in for a delicious breakfast. read more

Cozy little restaurant in Stillwater just off campus. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is timely even when near capacity. The Western Waffle and the eggs it came with were very good. They have an interesting take on their waffle fries and have an interesting cream sauce that is a good alternative to "Maple syrup". I would have given more stars, but the flies are bad here. Note: if you're going to try the Buffalo Chicken and Waffle, and don't want your waffle covered in Buffalo sauce, ask them to put the sauce on the side. read more

On my daughter's insistence, we go to Just Wafflin each visit to OSU from CA. Usually a line, but it moves fast and is worth it. Bacon is excellent -thick cut. I usually get the Elvis (peanut butter and bacon, pecans I think). Service excellent with coffee refills after you sit down (you order before sitting). Don't miss when visiting Stillwater. read more

Finally got to lunch here today with coworkers. Two got the special, chicken and waffles, and one got the grilled chicken sandwich, and I got the Chicken Taco. There wasn't a bad item at the table. The grilled chicken sandwich came on a roll/hamburger bun style, but could be ordered with a waffle instead. The taco was amazing! It was a little spicy and I could only eat half of that sucker! The server told us about each of the syrups, one of which she called a little piece of heaven. My pickiest food snob of a co worker totally agreed about the white syrup! I did not enjoy the food. My husband (the picky one!) and our friends liked it. True to the name. You won't find pancakes, French toast, or breakfast burritos here. Just Waffles. It is a very small restaurant. Decore is country/farm. Lots of hard surfaces and partly visible kitchen area. When you get there you stand in line to order & pay then you find a table. This is highly stressful during busy times. Pray a table opens up before they bring your waffles. Very inexpensive. They bring maple syrup and "waffle sauce" (a butterscotch like syrup) to the table. I thought my food had a really weird bitter taste. Maybe it was the Oklahoma pecan crunch I had? They also sell t-shirts. read more

I did a call in and it literally took them an hour to get me my food. I had to wait in line for forty minutes for cold food, which wasn't even correct. Instead of anything on my roasted pecan waffle, they just gave me a cold, soggy waffle. It was a terrible experience for mediocre food. What a gem Stillwater has! Just Wafflin is a gourmet waffle restaurant perfect for breakfast/brunch. I ordered a chocolate chip waffle with peanut butter mousse and it was delicious. We visited on a Saturday around 11 a.m. and while the place was super busy, service was prompt and staff was friendly. Only reason I gave a four star instead of five is because I thought the waffle batter could use a teeny bit more salt to give it that extra oomph. Overall a wonderful experience.
