Everything was pretty good except that frickin gravy. My God what is that stuff. A cup of flavorless white paste. I ordered sausage gravy. It had a table spoon of crumpled sausage floating on top. It was too bad to be a mix. Someone purposely created this sinister concoction. I loaded it with copious amounts of salt, black pepper and Cholula. Nothing helped. The flavors were absorbed, vanishing into the white abyss. So, just don't order the cream gravy. The rest of the breakfast was decent. This is an Oklahoma oilfield town diner. A working man's café. Apparently, it has been in operation for a number of years, judging from the volume of reviews. Some good some bad. The service seemed a little slow and disorganized. This place is amazing! It's like a hometown Ihop with delicious recipes. My boyfriend and I found it about a month ago and we are obsessed! I love their pancakes, they are very flavorful with plenty of vanilla taste. I also love their biscuits because they are homemade style and they have the smallest taste of cinnamon in them! We love it. Pricing is fair too considering your meals will cover the entire table. My boyfriends loves their gravy and hash browns! We plan to go every weekend until forever. read more

We got a table right away...waitress took our drink order and gave us menus...ordered our food and then waited almost an hour for our food, we finally got some food but we had no silverware and were still missing food from our order for about 10 more minutes. Waitress could have told us they were behind on orders instead of just looking at our table and going on about her business...other people there got their orders before us and others got all their order at the same time instead of a few plates here and there the food was decent but not worth going back for that kind of service. One of the best breakfasts I've had while traveling! I had the scatter browns which is hash browns scrambled with veggies, choice of meat, cheese and I topped it with two eggs over-medium. Homestead has been in Cushing forever. It's a great place for breakfast or lunch. They're open until 2pm daily. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. One of my favorites is Sunday lunch special fried chicken. It's wonderful and more than you can eat. read more
