I'd suggest the website list how many rides are closed on a given day so visitors can decide in advance whether it's worth the trip. Given how much a visit costs, it's frustrating to arrive and find a chunk of the rides unavailable. Second, the food was great, but there should be more healthier options on the menu. Finally, at every ride we visited, the staff seemed unmotivated -- dragging their feet, no greetings, no smiles. I'd recommend that staff orientation emphasize how important it is to welcome guests warmly, ideally with a smile.

My last trip review of SFGADV was in October, 2018, well before the Cedar Fair / Six Flags merge in 2024. For this here review, we'll cover the attractions we experienced on Sunday, July 19, 2026 and our thoughts concerning the visit on the whole. So, let's get down to the business at hand, shall we? The first thing, darlings, is to be aware that cash is *not* king here. In fact, the park is completely cashless. Please make certain you have some form of a cash alternative with you when visiting here. Examples: debit/credit cards, Apple/Google Pay, sugar daddies with these alternatives, etc. Since my bud Ron and I have memberships, we get four free FAST Lanes for each and every visit (don't be jealous!), so waiting long periods of time for rides wasn't a factor for this visit...we skipped four long lines and did four rides, which kept any wait to an absolute minimum. If you're a parkie and plan to do several visits, a membership may be worth its weight in gold, so to speak. And while you're at it, spring for the meal plan and get a beverage cup. Food is not inexpensive so you might want to consider this, especially if you don't want to leave the park and trek over to the nearby Wawa or McD's. A note about the drink cup: it is cheaply made yet it must last you the entire season. DO NOT put it in a dishwasher. DO NOT leave it in a hot car. It will melt like the Wicked Witch of the West and you will be shocked when you find out how much $$ you'll have to shell out (cashless, of course) a pretty cashless penny to replace it. They won't ever give you a freebie...no such thing as a free lunch, especially at Six Flags, so treat the cup as you would your first born. Here are the rides we experienced on this trip and how Your Host rates them: 1. FLASH: Vertical Velocity (B-). It opened last season but this was our first ride on it. Overall, it's exciting and a bit disorienting. The hang time is really cool, but that's about it. I found it sort of meh-ish despite the other stuff, but if we had to wait on that long line, we would've been unhappy, to say the least. Fortunately, we had Fast Lane, so we went directly to the front of the line, which ameliorated any dissatisfaction with the experience overall. 2. Barrels of Fun (F). Content creators gave this some pretty positive accolades so i looked forward to this one. But darlings, this ride is a banger and quite violent. This is a spinning Wild Mouse that was relocated from SF America and had been completely restored. It's pretty, I'll admit, but looks only get you so far. Things start out okay at first but descend into the depths of Hell as the ride progresses. Once the car starts spinning right round baby like a record baby do things become like going a few rounds with Mike Tyson. It's NOT a fun ride (unless you're seriously into PAIN). Rename this ride to "Barrels of Agony' or "Barrels of Torture"...not "Barrels of Fun". 3. Saw Mill Log Flume (B). For a flume, it's pretty darn good and we got soaked...so go in with that expectation. The park did a great job restoring the ride and like Barrels, it's pretty. It's not silky smooth but fun overall. Ideal in hot weather...ideally. 4. Medusa (B+). Your standard B&M floorless looper. Fun and exciting and a recommended stop here. DINING: Best of the West (A-). For park fare, it's pretty darn good. Both of us had pulled pork sandwiches, which come with tater tots, corn bread (they really want to carb one up!) and Cole slaw. Since I'm not an avid fan of the tot, they went largely untouched. The sandwich wasn't the easiest thing to eat so it's was a fork in' experience, but that's okay. Recommended. Overall a nice way to spend a few hours and a nice time. The park looks clean and fresh, and the owners are making great progress in beautifying it. Yes, definitely come visit and get back to me... Food averages around **$20 per meal**, and a single ice cream costs **$12**--they even charge extra for sprinkles. The bathrooms were extremely dirty and constantly soaked. I understand it's a water park, but there's water everywhere with little effort to keep the facilities clean. There's also only **one changing room**, which creates long waits. If you need a locker, that's another extra charge. And the best part? They even charge you to rent a tube if you want to float down the lazy river. I'm honestly not sure what the $45 admission fee actually covers, because it seems like everything else costs extra. This was a very disappointing experience, and I definitely will not be returning. There are some patrons who think that this is a round trip sort of ride, so they have enough signage indicating it is indeed a one way trip. Good for a little rest, a shortcut to the other side, or to get a view of the entire Six Flags park. We went on twice and there really wasn't too long of a line-wait on either side. The staff who work on these rides are generic and barely crack a smile, so don't expect too much in that regard. In a park full of wild rides, it's nice to have a more relaxing one. Worth trying once if you've never been.

Bizarro is kinda hidden in the back side of the park by where the safari starts and ends so make sure not to miss it because your spending too much time in the jersey wild on safari because this is one awesomely fun coaster that has no floor so your feet are left to dangle in the Six Flags Great Adventure Summer Safari Sun! The Coaster itself is awesome because I kinda felt like I didn't know how it would send me next wile it was a smooth ride overall I definitely enjoyed how it twisted over that super cool looking twisted mister in the middle of the twisting coaster fun! Bizarro is up there with one of the funnest of the B&M floorless coasters which is totally awesome because it was the first floorless coaster ever built by Bolliger & Mabillard the company who has built many awesome coasters at parks everywhere! Bizarro changed it's name from Medusa a few years ago I remember this as I have always wanted to ride this coaster as this floorless style is one of my favorites to ride anywhere and it was the first ever one built so ya you know you totally gotta ride it! This ride is a standing coaster, which is pretty rare. The line is usually a bit full, expect atleast 20minutes wait. When it's full it can take up to 1hr+ to get on. This coaster can fit 32 passengers at once (8 rows of 4 -buddy system in effect!) if you're not a roller coaster junkie this is one of the safest feeling rollercoasters. Also check what time the safari opens in the park as we went a second time (on another day and didn't have to wait too long) as we were lined up shortly after the ride opened. You can't see the first big drop, and there is some trickiness since there are times you think you're going one way, but you're actually going another! Once inside the rides seat felt small for a guy like me. ( have big shoulders) wasn't a fan of the lights and the ride just seemed like one of those old wooden coasters.
