Dr. Egerer seriously injured me in 2008. He performed manual traction on my neck. He pulled so hard on my neck that I stopped feeling my feet. Alarmed that I was in danger of becoming a quadriplegic, I told him to stop pulling on my neck. Unfortunately, the damage was already done. I soon felt like I had been in a terrible car accident. My left shoulder froze and I began to lose the ability to use my left arm. I returned to Dr. Egerer but he had no idea how to fix what he had done to my neck. Terrified that he might injure me even more, I stopped letting Dr. Egerer adjust me. I was put in physical therapy for months but discharged for not improving. I was in constant pain. Finally a friend recommended a different chiropractor. The new chiropractor took x-rays of my neck. The x-rays revealed that Dr. Egerer had pulled the curve out of my neck and caused thoracic outlet syndrome. It took hundreds of chiropractic visits and hundreds of massage therapy appointments to restore the curve in my neck. I even did nerve conduction studies with a neurologist because my arm was numb for years. 15 years later, the first two ribs in my shoulder are still hopelessly frozen from Dr. Egerer injuring me. At this point, I continue to need physical therapy, regular chiropractic adjustments, and regular massage therapy 15 years later. Dr. Egerer did help my foot. A heavy chair fell on my foot and I was limping for years. Dr. Egerer popped the misaligned bones back into place. Unfortunately the severe neck trauma that he caused is now a life-long injury that causes constant numbness and pain in my left shoulder. Dr. Justin is a miracle man. I have always been skeptical about chiropractors, but he has me a believer. He is kind, attentive and always greets with a big hug. He was great for quelling any anxiety I had when first going in to be adjusted, which was a lot on my first visit. I have been dealing with lower back pain for months now and have seen him twice. The first time I went in, I was shaking in my boots terrified to be adjusted. I'm a control freak and the idea of someone else cracking and popping my body has always left me too paralyzed to actually visit a chiropractor, but when I let him know about my fears he talked me through every adjustment before we did them and I walked out feeling much calmer about the entire experience. Over this weekend, I developed a lower back pain of excruciating proportions after mistakenly picking up a pain of shoes the wrong way. I was in bed all Sunday afternoon with the pain keeping me up through the night and woke up Monday morning even worse: I could barely walk. I called the office before they were open and asked for a same day appointment on the machine and was called back in a very timely manner. I went to my appointment a little early and he took me back right away. We did some adjustments and he had me ice the area and lay in what can be best described as a horizontal back massager machine for a while and when I left I was still very sore and in nearly the same amount of pain as when I came in, which he said was normal as we had just adjusted the alignment and that can often leave the area sensitive and inflamed. I went home and took a nap and three hours later I was 30% better, which was a welcome improvement since I was able to finally move a bit without feeling like my back may snap in two. I woke up this morning 80% better than yesterday. I could drive to work with minimal pain, I can walk without looking like too much of a hunchback, and sitting in my chair at work isn't the challenge it was yesterday. I am SO grateful. I have a follow-up appointment on Friday and will continue to work with Dr. Justin until this problem is fully recovered. Side note: my mother, grandmother and sister are also all patients of this wonderful practice. All four of us have seen similar results and praise both the Doctor and his staff for helping guide us toward wellness. He takes the time to talk about full body wellness from nutrition to preventative stretching and we all have appreciated the personal attention he gives each and every patient. I've been to other chiropractors before but once i found Dr. Egerer I've never gone elsewhere. I am not the most disciplined patient and will usually wait until i'm literally dying and then after i see him he fixes me up like new whatever the issue. Horrible experience with Justin Egerer, DC. I was at his office for treatment for a neck problem only. He had me lay down on the table face down and he was massaging my butt. Massaging my butt was very embarrassing to me and not wanted contact by me. How massaging my butt will correct problems in my neck, was not explained! He did things that were painful and not wanted by me. He had some machine he was rolling all over my back. I complained that it was painful. He was popping knuckles on my fingers. That was not wanted by me. I was just there for a neck problem only. He had something that he did actually do to my neck for just a minute, but it was painful and not wanted by me. I have been treated by Dr. Egerer on and off for the past 8 years. From every day stiffness, to headaches that wont quit to mobility issues to a slip and fall accident.
