To be fair, the doctor is a good chiropractor, and he understands muscle imbalance, etc The problem is the pricing. It is $200/per visit. They told me insurance would cover half, so I'd only pay $95 at the time of appointment I would find out months (actually a year) later that I still have 100% deductible. Now, I have different insurance, and it is still unclear whether my insurance was ever applied or if they woud charge me twice Whether it is the insurance or the clinic, be prepared to pay the full $200 for a chiropractic visit. read more

My wife and I have been coming to Dr Jeff every 2 weeks for a couple months now. I've always been an active guy either in the gym or sports, but didn't realize how much chiropractic work actually helps until my first visit with Jeff. I herniated my L4/L5 & L5/S1 discs about 3 years ago, and combined with work/life stress, I was having headaches and migraines multiple times a week. After my first visit with Jeff, the majority of my pains were significantly reduced. Now after having gone almost 10 times, my body adjust much, much more easily, i really don't ever get headaches anymore, and my neck/back stiffness is wayyy better than it used to be. We have gone to chiropractors in the past that focused more on machine type modalities, which were helpful for sure, but Jeff's hands-on approach is awesome. After the first visit, my wife was feeling pretty tender and thought something was wrong, but the next day she felt much better. The same thing happened after her 2nd adjustment...that's what the body does when it's been stuck in a faulty position / movement pattern for a while (we have a 1yr old, so holding a baby on her hip for hrs a day and all that didn't help!). Long story short, Jeff is awesome. Honestly, I can't understand any of the negative reviews, and my family is blessed to have found him! PATIENTS BEWARE. Not only was my back extremely unhappy after my visit, but they also appeared to have issued what may have been fraudulent charges. Was told by this office there were "additional procedures" that were "not covered" under my insurance so they charged an additional (double) amount to my co-pay during my visit. Afterwards, I asked for more info to understand what those items were and, after several calls and receiving plenty of suspiciously conflicting information, was able to confirm by contacting my insurance that they were in fact "covered" procedures and I should not have paid anything additional to my normal co-pay. I might add that this was also after many calls back and forth where I was given the run-around by both the office staff and the insurance....neither of them wanting to provide a direct answer to my questions until they appeared to be backed into a corner due to their own conflicting responses that I called them on. The office staff finally called me almost 2 weeks later after "looking into" this issue and claimed it was an error (big surprise). When questioning Renee about their billing practices, I'd never heard anyone stutter so much in my life. Nothing she said made any sense and I absolutely don't believe it was an "error". Imagine how much extra money they must make here if they make that same "error" with every patient, every day. As for my visit with the Doctor... This chiropractor seems like a nice guy and shared a lot of good information with me but after my first visit to his office my back felt really messed up, in fact it felt worse than I'd ever felt in my life...this was a very scary experience for me. I walked out of the office feeling a little unsure as to whether my body appreciated the adjustment he provided. Later that day, I was talking to a friend and leaning against my vehicle, as soon as I took my weight off the vehicle to stand straight my back felt like it was going to give out completely. This really freaked me out. Had a similar experience when laying down to go to sleep where it gave out again. Kept feeling a lot of spasms in my back too and a general tightness/stiffness that was really uncomfortable. Felt constantly fearful that my back would give out again if I made the slightest wrong move. Even worse, I was fearful that permanent damage may have been done. Thankfully, I was able to see a different chiropractor (not from this office) within a few days whom I'd had a good experience with previously. He quickly assessed my spine and was immediately able to tell that I was definitely out of alignment. He then performed an adjustment from which I felt immediate relief and I'm happy to say that most of the adverse symptoms have reduced or gone away completely since that adjustment. I'm really hopeful that it stays that way now but time will tell. I'm sure some have had good experiences here and I wish I could say the same about mine, but it just wasn't. I won't be back and still can't help but wonder if what Dr. Talbott did to me was on purpose. I've heard of doctors causing damage to make you a "regular" patient but never expected this to happen. I have been going to Dr. Talbott for about five years now. Prior to him, I had been to two other chiropractors and quite honestly thought they were all the same and just did adjustments. Enter Dr. Talbott. He is totally *not* the same and does so much more! This guy is like the back whisperer. I know it's kind of cheesy to say but the guy is so talented and he just has such a natural instinct about what's bothering me, where the pain is coming from and how to alleviate it. I have worked with a wide range of chiropractors over the years due to a car accident at a very early age, and I have moved several times. I can tell you Dr. Talbott is by far the best I have ever worked with. I have worked with straight (traditional) to light touch, and he has resolved more of my injuries than any other single doctor I have worked with. I have been working with him for just over a month now, and I have gained full range of motion in my neck. I went to Dr. Jeff from a recommendation by my coworker. I've been experiencing severe pain in my neck and after three weeks of taking advil I finally had enough and said I needed a chiropractor. The only thing I regret is not going to see Dr. Jeff sooner! His front office staff, Kris, is extremely nice and worked with me to set up a same-day appointment so I can get treatment immediately. Dr. Jeff is very soft spoken and believes in hollistic treatments. He is extremely patient and will take the time to diagnose you, explain what he's doing, and even provide recommendations. I refer to Dr. Jeff Talbott as a healer. I have been his patient for almost 10 years and he continually gets better year after year with his chiropractic skills. I went to see Dr. Jeff (by recommendation through a fitness trainer) because I was experiencing 3 weeks of sharp, lower back pain that wouldn't go away. I was leery to see a chiropractor, but when I went in, Dr. Jeff immediately assessed what was going on with me. My pain was in my lower back but he accurately and quickly found that the source of my pain was not stemming from my back, but actually from my tight left hip flexor which was forcing my lower right back area to compensate for the tightness. Even though it was painful at first, his work on my back was completely healed in one session. I was stunned because that's never happened to me before. I instantly became a loyal patient. Because of many negative experiences I've had in the past with other chiropractors who say you have to come back dozens of times to receive complete healing, I pretty much vowed to never go to another.
