He was a few minutes early for our appointment, and he listened intently to what we were planning. He waited until we had said our piece and then asked if he could give some suggestions, which were great. He confessed that his team was working on another large job in the Sacramento area, so we knew our project wouldn't be immediate. He gave us a VERY reasonable quote, so we said, "Let's go." In less than three weeks, Chris and his team were at our door, right on time! We reviewed the project, and his team went to work. Once the project started, Lucy & her Crew explained what was happening and provided a timeline for the project. We had a Retaining Wall, Pet Turf area, Putting green/fringe, a main turf area, and concrete walkways put in. We did however had a synthetic turf issue where the turf had imperfections on it, (not caused by Advanced Pavers), Lucy & Edgar handled it professionally working with the manufacturer, the issue was remedied quickly. Edgar & Lucy went above and beyond my expectations with this issue leaving us very satisfied with the project. I recommend Advanced Pavers to anyone looking for a talented landscaping company. The work was done beautifully, with a very nice concrete pour which closely matched our surrounding deck. They also redid our backyard sprinkler system, which really needed some (forgive me) TLC. Excellent work there also. These guys were efficient, on time and on schedule, and on budget. Working with this group has been a pleasure, and TLC is in our address book moving forward. I live in a condo complex and we…read morepay ALOT of money for below average work. 1- the worker who comes in with the blower, makes my area even dirtier then it was before he arrived. 2 - they leave a mess of leaves, the area does not look cleaner after they leave. 3 - they don't bother to rake 4 - they over trim the bushes by removing the green and keeping the stems and trunks. 5 - they take the easy route every single time. 6 - we have wisteria trees, and their idea of maintaining the trees is to lop the top, which means we never get any blooms and they leave the stems and trunks untouched. I myself could do a better job than these guys. Unfortunately, I'm in an HOA and I don't have any say in the matter. If you want speed, these guys are fine. But if you want quality go somewhere else. They do a terrible job and honestly, I don't think they know what they're doing.

We appreciate that he was on time, built solid forms and even suggested additional drainage improvements. The finished result is better than that of a previous contractor. That said, there were some issues that detracted from the experience. We observed several crew members urinating in our yard and Tony made light of it so we had to address the workers ourselves to use a bathroom. There was also a miscalculation in the amount of concrete needed; while Tony completed the job at no extra charge using bagged concrete-which we appreciate-the situation could have been handled better from the outset given his level of experience, use a tape measure. Cleanup was a concern. The crew left behind concrete residue on surfaces like the driveway requiring several hours of my time to sweep and scrape. In summary, while the quality of the finished work is good improvements in professionalism, planning accuracy and post job cleanup would make a significant difference in the overall experience. Without these issues he's a solid 4.0/5.0 stars but we had the issues. I also overpaid $50 and my text hasn't been answered.
