Called the office and Adam came out a couple of days later to inspect our lawn and give us a quote. After talking to a few other local vendors, we decided to go with FENIX and we are really pleased we did. Adam, Kimberley and Erica communicated really well and answered any question we had about the entire process. They provided us with a few turf samples as well as an extensive list of referral addresses we could use to inspect their craftsmanship and the quality of the installed turf product. When the day to start the project arrived, Dylan and the large crew arrived right on time as arranged and immediately got to work. They were very professional and skilled. They were able to complete the entire project in one day and cleaned up the "worksite" nicely. We are extremely happy with the entire process from start to finish and would use them again if needed and would highly recommend them if you were considering installing artificial turf for your landscaping project. Not only was the craftsmanship top notch, the value was exceptional as FENIX provided us with the lowest price of all the quotes we received.

A neighbor had recommended Fenix. About a year ago a representative came to our house to give an estimate. He brought samples and measured the area and was quite thorough in his explanation and recommendations. We decided on one of the products but had to hold off installation because we were having other work done in the backyard that could have damaged a new turf. Finally the yard was done almost a year later and we contacted Fenix. Their prices had gone up only 10 cents a square foot but they honored our original bid. Installation was scheduled a couple of weeks later. A week before the install we received an email with the site prep, warranty, care instructions, and other useful information. They offer a discount if you pay by cash or check. On installation day they arrived close to 8 a.m. and apologized for being late as it was foggy in Sacramento and dangerous driving. The crew immediately got to work, first capping off the irrigation that watered the former grass lawn and then digging out the dirt and roots. They uncovered a couple of drainage pipes that we weren't aware of and cleaned them out and reset them to be operational under the turf. They accidentally cut some irrigation pipes and quickly repaired them. Once the job was finished they cleaned up our backyard, even on the side of the yard they weren't working in. The new artificial turf looks wonderful. We highly recommend Fenix if you are considering artificial turf for your yard.

We started with what was to be a straight forward driveway replacement. Old cracked/cast in place cement being replaced with pavers. Travis recommended lights and we agreed that was worthwhile based on the scope of what was being done, and this being something we will look at every day, multiple times per day. The pavers were also going to be extended to the front door replacing an additional old sidewalk. We didn't want the least expensive contractor. We wanted someone that was reasonably priced, who would stand behind their work. Bella Rosa is that company. The project turned out better than expected. The lights are icing on the cake. The pavers look phenomenal. All that said, there were a few hiccups along the way. Miscommunications on Bella Rosa's side related to what was discussed initially, and when the crew came out for installation. However, Travis always quick to reply, prompt to meet to work through the details and we were very satisfied. As the front was nearing completion we were so confident in Travis's team, Freddy was the foreman on our project, we added on additional things to the original scope. Including, redoing a flagstone walkway, cleaning out a side yard area, removing a layer of soil, adding stabilized decomposed granite, putting in lights along a back fence line. We can't recommend Bella Rosa highly enough. Travis and his team do very good work. And, when things come up, which is normal in construction, they will stand by their work and resolve any unexpected things. These are projects we could've DIY'd, but the result would not have looked as good, and would've required many months to complete.

We had a dog run installed with turf on the side of our home and wondered for 2 years why we were chasing the smell of dog urine after many enzyme rinses and cleanings. We had Evolawn "Jake" come out initially for a cleaning, and after Jake did some recon, noticed that although the turf was "for the most part", properly installed by the last company for normal use, it was not designed for the day to day potty place for dogs. Jake was very descriptive and prescriptive on what should've been done, from the proper drainage lines, air drains, French drains, the proper "pet" turf, and the education on maintaining it properly post installation. Pricing was very reasonable for having to de/reconstruct the side yard, and the entire process was very transparent as the work that was done was captured by step by step photos and clear communication. Although just installed, we are confident that the result wouldn't get much better than this for a pet turf application. This Company is the real deal and we couldn't be happier we found them.

I never write reviews, but David did such a great job that I felt compelled to write one. First, David replaced three very old, outdated valves. What I appreciated most was that he took the time to explain what he was doing and how the valves and solenoids work together with the controller as a system. As someone who knows very little about sprinkler systems, I really appreciated the clear explanation. Second, he installed four new sprinklers, one of which was a challenge because of the concrete surrounding the PVC piping. In addition, he replaced eight heads, six risers, and capped one sprinkler. He adjusted every single head across four stations and zones, walked me through each zone, made careful micro-adjustments, and explained how everything worked. Lastly, he left my backyard spotless and looking as good as new. I would not hesitate to work with Mark and David at First Class Irrigation again. Speaking of which, I am thinking of having them convert my sprinkler system into a low-maintenance drip irrigation system with a Rachio controller in the near future. Highly recommended!

Not recommended, but if you do use these guys, write down in detail what you expect - the written estimate is the only official agreement and he will milk it...

When I reach out to Vik with my complaints he said " lawns don't last forever, and fixing sprinklers are extra. " ok, I guess that explains your poor lawn maintenance and bad communication skill Updated response to owner- You can try to justify your service all you want Vik, these pictures are proof of your service. Just an FYI, there are two,(2) hedges in the front. You are correct there are 25 foot tall trees, (not hedges) in the back, they require little to no maintenance. Also, I'm not the first to complain about your lack of communication- see the additional posts. A simple " I'm sorry , we screwed up, we let you down and we didn't do what you paid us to do" would have been nice!

Customer Service: Isidro was very friendly and easy to work with! When I first contacted him for an estimate he responded right away and was able to come out to the house very quickly. He and his staff took some measurements and we talked about what work I wanted done. He gave me a reasonable estimate later that day, which I felt was a good price compared to a few other estimates I got. Isidro came out a second time for a free consultation. I had a hard time envisioning the design over the phone, so he offered to come out and show me in person. Again, he promptly came to my house with spray markers and helped me visualize the work he was going to do. He has a good design sense and suggested adding the sand pathway, which I hadn't even thought of, but loved when he brought it up. Isidro also beautifully incorporated some existing garden objects that was left by the previous owner (nice big rocks and other garden decor). As I could not be at the home during his work, he sent me pictures and videos of his progress throughout the week and constantly checked in to make sure I liked it. Isidro is very kind and respectful and I hope to be able to call on him for more projects next year. The pictures I added don't do it justice - it looks beautiful in person! Thank you Isidro!

I got a few quotes from Yelp and Jose from Tellez Landscaping came out to give us an estimate. Of all the landscaping companies I spoke to, Jose at Tellez was by far the most professional and knowledgeable. His approach was chill, not pushy at all and very generous with his time. He met me at a nearby nursery to look at some trees that we were thinking of planting - this is even before I committed to have them do the job. I really appreciated that. Jose really knows his stuff. He has a wide range of knowledge about plants and trees, how to care for them, construction etc. He told me they could complete the job in a week or so, and they were able to meet their deadline. Communicating with Jose was quick and easy. We texted back and forth without any delays in-between. He was quick to reply and answer any questions. He sent me 3-D pictures of what the job would look like before they started the work so I could decide where I wanted concrete, trees, grass etc. They took payment in installments as the project progressed. I have a couple regrets but both are things that were within my control and I could have avoided with more effort on my part - not Jose's fault. I'm not really happy with the quality and color of the artificial grass that was installed. I should have insisted on seeing the actual grass before it was installed. But since I wasn't living in the area, I settled on seeing it in a picture which isn't the same thing as seeing it in person. Also, I don't love the color or pattern of the flagstone that was laid. Again, I should have insisted on seeing more detail on the type of flagstone and how it would be laid out. My bad. Live and learn. It was an expensive venture, but they did a TON of work. They worked very hard to make the deadline and they did an excellent job. Very little to complain about, and for those reasons I would recommend them for landscaping in the area. We asked Jose and his crew to come back periodically for yard maintenance so we're happy to continue to work with them. I'll update my review in the future, and as the trees and plants mature, I'll add some pictures.

Jose set up an appointment to come take a look at our backyard. He took photos, measured, & went over some ideas with us. A few days later he got back to us with a quote and some rendered photos of what our backyard could look like. Looking at the photos we were sold on moving forward with the landscaping. Our backyard at the time looked like it was right out of the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. They completely gutted the back yard, laid an all new sprinkler/ drip system, sod, a designer wall with raised flower bed, and even fixed our daughters bridge and painted it red. I hired this company a month ago to do a large project on 1.7 acres…read more Jose came out on a Thursday and gave me a fantastic deal and I asked when he can get started and his reply was yesterday... They started the next day with a large crew and worked every day like clock work. They just finished the project today and went way above the call of duty!! Jose has a awesome crew and they just get it done!!!! They did such an awesome job I gave them more stuff to do around here.. They are clean neat organized n make things happen and quickly too.. Reliable, responsible, dependable , moreso very reasonable!! I strongly recommend this company if you don't wanna babysit give them a try n just show and tell them once.... 5 Stars plus... Hired Tellez landscaping to work on my new construction home aka a dirt back yard. I give them a…read moresolid C on their work. The good: Punctual Finished before deadline Nice concrete work The bad: Quoted one price, made promises about what we'd get, John sprung additional "over budget" costs at the end, despite the fact we discussed these items when we got our initial bid. Sneaky. Damaged my stucco in several areas; had to keep calling for them to repair. Repair is not even complete. Never heard from them again. Plants are spaced wonky ..... for example 2 flower bushes are close together and the third is another foot away, looks silly. Shade tree placed in yard is not centered on the hole that was dug, so the border looks crooked. drives me crazy!! Gate does not match fencing and it looks like crap. No really, it looks bad. Why have a non matching gate?! The gate is dog ear fencing and the rest of the fence is wire with framing. Space under gate was filled with random extra bricks instead of a kick board. Again, looks bad and lazy. They quoted us for 24x24 stepping stones only to get cheap ugly 12x12 stones. Also, at least 6 of our plants have died in the year since they landscaped. BOO!
