Even if you bring your own gear, they have it so dialed in from the rod size to the reel capacity to the line diameter to the oz & hook sizes! Respectfully leave your gear home. It's worth the $5-$10 to let them do it. Then after you fill your cooler, they gladly clean your catch to your liking (dressed or filleted)

We…read moredrove over 4 hours for this fishing trip and were on the boat from 12:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. The captain moved the boat multiple times trying to find fish, but our entire group of 5 only caught 10 collectively. I understand that fishing is unpredictable and there are no guarantees, but after traveling so far and spending seven hours on the water, we expected a much better experience. The long drive, late hours, and very little action made the trip feel like a waste of time and money. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Relatively clean & water has no smell with Lifeguards showers & changing area. But I personally do not go in the water as it's a bit too dark for my liking. But I love going to relax and sunbathe while people watching. The entrance is $10 per car and theres a bbq area and plenty of space for family gathering. Keep in mind that it gets super crowded on the weekends and holiday. I recommend going early.

The water was very choppy and the captain had to constantly move us back to our spot to get on the fish. The crew was patient and cool people to fish with. The morning and night crowd are typically the more experienced fisherman. The 2-6 pm time is more family oriented. Either way it was a great experience and will go fishing again next time in town.
