I second Tyler's accurate review. There is 0 communication about where the fishes go after you catch them. You will not keep "your" fish you catch.: ENDQUOTE This is a flat out lie. Furthermore, the crew clean your fish for a charge. They are not slaves and this is true of EVERY BOAT on the Eastern Seaboard. You expect them to do this for free? Nobody works for free. Everyone KEEPS there fish. This complaint is positively bizzarre. Additionally, for newbies, try reading on brooklyn-fishing and find the section on newbies.

Wow had such a blast. Really appreciated their sanitizing and safety precautions too. Wow the whole team was so helpful and fun to be around. Very grateful for them and to be a able to celebrate a good friend and medical professionals birthday! God bless you guys. Can't wait to get out on the water again. See u soon!

Great boat to fish especially if you've never done it before. The mates will help you and even show you how to catch fish. Whatever you catch they will clean and prep for you to your liking, just do remember to tip as this is where the majority of their pay comes from. Good mixed crowd on board meaning veteran and novice fishers, so no need to feel bashful if you've never fished before. My 10 year old step son caught fish his first time out.

Cooler of Porgys we caught on the Marilyn Jean IV.

The boat itself is clean and has enough room to move around while you're riding out to where you'll see sea life. The crew has clearly been doing this for a very long time and is incredibly knowledgeable. We had perfect weather and saw many dolphins and even saw some whales! It's a group activity for the whole ship to keep an eye out for some movement but it's so exciting when you do spot a whale tail pop out of the water. The whales were very active and we saw a few different ones before the ship was starting to turn back to head toward Brooklyn. As we were heading home we saw a two whale breeches so the captain turned the ship back around so we could see as much as possible. I was able to ask whatever questions I had about the whales to the crew and they always had answers. You can bring food aboard, and I believe on the lower level there is a little concession stand (I sat up top and stayed up there the whole time). Highly recommend a jacket or sweater as once you're out on open water the breeze kicks in.

BEST WEDDING EVER!!!…read more I was all set up at another venue to get married on October 17th, 2020. Three weeks before my wedding, I was informed they were going to need to cancel. Frantic and ready to cancel, my now husband had suggested a boat. I googled party boats in Brooklyn, and the Atlantis came up, and to be very honest, I was skeptical, I called anyway. I spoke to a lovely woman, her name was Kelly and explained the situation, and she was very sympathetic to what was happening. She set me up with an appointment with Amanda to have a tour of the boat. My husband and I got to the boat and met with Amanda and knew immediately we were in good hands. This woman is amazing. Leading up to the event date, there were so many changes due to hot zones and what have you, and several times I was ready to give up, and it was her who told me, you deserve to be a bride and have the wedding of your dreams, and she and her awesome team delivered at every single turn. From Jamie in billing, which was so sweet, Captain Fred and his beautiful wife who oversaw every detail and cruised us around the city (some of my guests did not even know we left the dock until they were invited to the top deck to see the cake cutting by the Statue of Liberty). All the servers that none of my guests waited for a drink, the food was out promptly nobody was waiting, they were awesome, and the food was delicious (get the lamb chop ordures). Everybody on the Yacht was amazing. Amanda, we want to thank you for everything you did for us. We could not have pulled off the best wedding of all time, all the little details, the communication between vendors. It was like working with a best friend easy peasy. From the very bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Things happen for a reason. My husband and I are so happy the other place canceled on us; it would have been a nice event but nothing close to what an AMAZING EXPERIENCE all our guests and we had.

Using a deal: Simple enough! If you buy a deal, email them your voucher number and the date/time of your preferred cruise (pick from their website) and they mark your reservation. If you're booking for more than one person, email your voucher numbers together in one email so you all get the same reservation. You then print out your voucher and bring it with you the day of. The Pink Lady was docked at Pier 7 and we checked in with Captain Anthony in 10 seconds. They board 15 minutes before departure, so my friends and I went to a nearby cafe to wait since it was really hot. Boat: Yacht is as depicted on their website. Two restrooms in the back (clean), food is placed on tables in the front along with coffee/tea on the first level, bar's on the other side. Everyone sits first come first serve, so if you're with a big group, get in line early so you don't get split up! We sat with a cute elderly couple and there were two extra seats at our table. Food & drinks: "Brunch" food/lunch buffet consisted of chicken, roast beef, ham and turkey wraps, salad, 2-3 different kinds of cold pasta salads and diced fruit. My friends and I were excited about the buffet and were a bit underwhelmed (we really wanted eggs! lol) but hey, you get what you pay for. Expect a 5-10 minute during the first rush. They ran out of pasta salad after the first long line, but had 2-3 platters of wraps. Drinks... my tequila sunrise tasted like sugar water, but my friend said hers was strong. Bartender was quick. Sights: You cruise from Sheepshead Bay to the Verrazano Bridge (one hour each way) and you get a great view of Coney Island and Seagate park! The captain also announces the sights as you pass by. Overall: Worth checking out for the views, especially if you love being out at sea,or have never been on a cruise around NYC. Don't expect too much from the buffet/unlimited drinks (and the cramped lines at the beginning), but you'll be full when you leave... and maybe drunk if you really do visit the bar often enough lol. Captain and crew members were very courteous; they help you get on/off the boat and also helped take away our garbage; tips are expected at the end.

I personally have been fishing with Brooklyn VI for years with a large group of friends. I have never sought out another boat because of the following: - They have a cool and helpful staff. - If nothing is biting, they ALWAYS tell us to stop and drive out deeper to find a better location. - I literally always have to STOP fishing because I catch too many Blues (don't have the freezer room). The first time I fished with them I caught 9 big blues. I always catch a bunch and then chill the rest of the trip and talk to friends who are pooped. On one trip, my son was about 9 at the time - he caught 3 or 4 by himself and the staff of course pulled the fish in for him. -They clean the fish for you which saves me so much trouble. I don't want to call anyone a liar but I will say, after what, 7 years of fishing with Brooklyn VI, I've NEVER seen the shore when we start fishing, never!
