Charlie's Car Wash provides me a consistent, top-notch level of service each time I come by. Sure, I could do the wash myself, but when time is an issue and I'm going to get the same result, I will pay for the convenience factor. I signed up for one of the unlimited monthly wash plans ($40-ish) and I have absolutely gotten my money's worth out of that contract. I just pull up to the gate, the system recognizes my license plate and pulls up my options, and I drive right over to the entryway. The whole process takes maybe one minute from entry to exit. If I want extras, such as a hand detail, then I am given an option to tag that on to my overall order. The vacuums are free, they are easy to pull into, and there's always one open. You can always add a hand-detail option for $25-ish and I'd bet you would be very pleased with the level of detailed service that is provided! I know that some people can be finicky about who touches their car, but I feel pretty safe that my sweet ride gets treated carefully and mindfully each and every time. No fuss, no muss, and everyone is always friendly. Maybe a monthly subscription isn't in your range, but it's a deal if you are going weekly or more (like me) and gets my full seal of recommendation. Then out of the blue, I'm getting charged the larger package 2 month in a row. I didn't email them on the first large payment, hoping they would've noticed. They didn't, and on the 2nd larger payment, I've emailed them to cancel my subscription. We will see if they refund me and cancel everything. My issue is the whole no response part. I've price checked the cost of gas a couple times in the past but finally gave up years ago, because Brad always had everyone beat. You can pre-pay for your gas on a contract, or you can roll the dice and pay as you go (and hope there's not a shortage in December driving prices up). We buy ours every summer/fall for the winter to lock in the price. One year someone drove over the top of our underground tank and broke the plastic "hatch". Brad was out here within a week with a used hatch he'd come up with somewhere and rather than digging completely down to the tank to bolt it on, was able to cut the old one out and install the new one in a way that doesn't leak water, and saved me a ton of money (and him a ton of work!). They're always johnny on the spot with fills; we try not to let our tank get below 30% so that we can give them flexibility but if you've got an emergency or run out of gas, they'll be there immediately (emergency charges apply obviously, but they're not unreasonable). Just a great company to deal with every time I've interacted with them, and they've got the cheapest price on gas anytime I've ever checked around. Even if they didn't I'd likely keep using them because they're a small family company rather than a conglomerate. When the owner of the company gives you his cell phone number for emergencies, you know you're going to be well taken care of!

When we arrived at the apartment, the movers damaged the floor in the entryway and initially denied responsibility even after I showed them photos of the condition beforehand. The service advertised as "white glove" was never delivered. Items removed from walls were not rehung, furniture was not fully set up, and much of the crew stood around waiting for payment while the job remained incomplete. To make matters worse, I paid over $2,000, and the company ultimately refused to return to finish the job. I was left with three truckloads of my belongings still at the house, which I then had to move myself. The movers themselves were polite, but the planning, coordination, and follow-through from management were extremely disappointing.
