They were accommodating when I asked if they could install my doggie door while they were out. We went with JWG after getting a few different quotes. Their rep, Nick Gombold, was just an absolute PLEASURE to deal with. He was extremely patient with explaining everything and answering questions...never pushy and just so friendly. The new windows are AWESOME!! They slide SO much better than the old windows. I definitely feel safer because of the double locks. And it's so much quieter. Airplane noise has absolutely decreased. The crew was great. Showed up on time, got the job done quickly and smoothly. And they were a great and funny crew of guys to "hang" with for the day, who also were very skilled and did a great install job. They also did a great cleanup job when they were done! This is my first Yelp review in years because I think that highly of the work they did - friendly, on time and very knowledgable. Jason, the owner, came out to our house to provide the quote for a whole house replacement (24 windows and 1 patio door) a couple days after submitting request. Received 3 other bids and they beat all of them, including another 5 star rated windows company who used the same type of windows with same warranty but charged 3k more. Our original budget only allowed us to do the kitchen window first (was doing a complete kitchen remodel) and the quality of service did not change once I told Jason this (some contractors will not prioritize you unless spending a certain amount of money). In fact, he took the liberty of splitting the invoice immediately. I do want to note that the original bid for a retro fit was incorrect which caused one week delay but he apologized for this and paid for speed delivery while keeping the same price despite new construction costing more and requiring new wood finish to replace original. Based on the quality of work along with the friendly and solution-oriented customer service we decided to move forward with the rest of the house the following week. Materials took 2-3 weeks and Jason called me the day it arrived and told me his entire crew would be out in a couple days to do the job. Took a little over one day to complete and same day I received several compliments from neighbors about the work. Each day they arrived and left at the time Jack said he would plus one of them (I think it was Mike or Shane) even helped me unload my floor tile which was extremely heavy and would not take my $10 tip for helping me. I've had windows done before my other property but will not be using anyone else after this experience. Jason returned all my calls within 2-4 hrs. I own a 1970's Escondido rental condo that has 2 windows and a slider. I obtained 4 quotes from different window companies . Mom & Pop installers, chain providers and factory direct. JWG not only came in several hundred less, but they offered the same if not better quality. Knock on wood it doesn't come to having to use a warranty, but reading all the fine print, it seems like they are comparable in that aspect too. JWG installed very quickly, but they didn't skimp on anything. When the job calls for extra calking and trim, they do it. The windows slide like a dream. I am sorry I waited so long to get these installed. It is worth every penny. My neighbors and I are really impressed with the quality. My new tenants are very excited. Job well done. Thanks so much. It has been about a month since we had our new windows and sliding glass door installed by JWG Windows and we are very happy with the results. Mike came over and gave a great presentation that was very casual and low pressure. His estimate was also the lowest of the four companies we brought in for bidding. I especially liked the fact that we were getting the best guarantees possible with an in-house installation team. I felt very comfortable giving them my business. Installation day came very quickly and the three man team was amazing. They gave a courtesy call the morning of installation and showed up right on time. We were told to expect one day installation but they were done by 2:30 PM including the clean up which left our house looking great. Since that time we have had a couple cold nights and some warm days and the house is maintaining temperature better than I could have imagined. The new windows also significantly reduced the street noise. Why did I wait so long to do this? If you are thinking of getting new windows I highly recommend that you include them in the bidding process. These guys do quality work. I solicited four bids and eventually went with JWG due to their competitive pricing, solid yelp reviews, and excellent warranty. The salesman was also very informative and knowledgeable, but was not very timely in responding to my inquiries. Since I was out of town and not able to be present during the installation I needed to coordinate details with him and it was always more of a chore than It should have been in getting a response. My husband and I just bought a house and they had all single pane windows that were in "eh" condition. We did some shopping and decided to go with JWG. They have a best prices. I wanted to enclose our L shaped terrace and make it a "lanai". I got three companies to come to my house for bids. The first company said it was too difficult and they could not do the project. The second company was Home Depot who said they could do it and warranty the project but I had to make my decision in 24 hours in order to get a discounted special. Their quote was very high and I had JWG coming in the next day. Mason came by and was informative, professional and the quote was almost half of what Home Depot told me (with their discount included). I was not familiar with Anlin (the window maker) and I was concerned that the windows would look cheap or clunky. They turned out beautiful! The crew they sent out to install were friendly, cleaned up after themselves and worked very hard to get the windows lined up and level which wasn't easy as the condo that we live in has shifted over the years and nothing is level anymore. JWG Windows and Doors was one of five companies we interviewed for our retrofit job -- 5 windows and 2 sliders. Nick was our sales rep. From the get go, he was punctual, personable, was wearing a mask and presented the sale thoroughly and without pushing. We chose the BayView line of Anlin Windows. This was back in May, when we hadn't even moved into our condo yet and knew it would be a while, since we needed to get approval from our HOA's Arquitectural Committee and settle in first. Fast forward to September -- we had contacted the HOA, requested approval and after careful inspection they suggested we get construction windows (4) since the stucco was failing around 4 of them and if we just retrofitted it could open up a can of worms that might cost us more money in the long run and headaches to the HOA-- so Nick re-quoted us reflecting those changes (btw: their quote was very competitive and fair) and finally, at the beginning of October he and Jason, the owner, came by to re-measure and make sure all was as it should. The windows and doors arrived when promised. We chose November 24 as our install date and before that, Nick had been in touch with our HOA to make sure everyone was on board about logistics -- the HOA did their prep work for the construction windows the week before and on install day Nick was here to welcome the crew at 8 AM sharp. Nathan, Romualdo and Tony, our outstanding three-man install crew. They were all wearing masks, their work was clean and careful - setting tarps down everywhere, efficient and fast with fabulous attention to detail and they left our home at 4:45 PM looking like no one had even been there. Plus, they were fun and had smiles on their faces - even if you couldn't actually see them under their masks :) We cannot recommend them enough. I had Jason and his crew at JWG install our windows and sliding glass door a little over 4 years ago. Their work is still holding up today! I was initially impressed with their professional install. They came and in and knocked it all out in one day. The part that I remember was how they didn't leave a mess for me to cleanup. A rarity these days with contractors. Fast forward 4 years. I got a split in my screen for my sliding glass door. I have two small kids and it was about eye level for them so I'm pretty sure how it got there. We have actually postponed just doing it for 13 years. Finally we bit the bullet and did it!. We again did a thorough research and after pulling bids from four different companies, we chose JWG Windows. After 30 years of home improvement, this was the most comfortable decision we have ever made. It felt right. There no second guessing ourselves or buyers remorse. Our salesman Nick was fanastic. He was very professional and patient in listening and answering all our questions. Everything he committed to verbally, he put in writing in the contract. The owner Jason came out and helped take the final measurements. It was nice to meet him and see his dedication to the product. Four weeks later the windows arrived. It was scheduled as a 3 day installation process. We had 25 windows and 3 sliding glass doors to replace. On the Install day, JWG's entire crew of @7 desended upon us. Each had an assigned task. Immediately the tarps went down on all the flooring to protect the wood and carpets thru out the entire house. Simultaneously a few others began taking down blinds and draperies, two other guys started demolition and removing old windows. While this going on, the foreman, EJ spoke with us to verify a few details. As the old windows came out and the new windows went in. They cleaned up as they worked. There never any debris or broken glass laying around. There was also one person assigned to finish detailing. As the window went in, he did the caulking inside and out, added the vinyl trim to the interior of the windows, removed labels and polished the new windows. Not only was the initial installation and service top notch, but almost 4 years after they installed our windows, these guys definitely proved that they stand behind their work. I had a leak that I thought was coming from a leaky window. I had several other quotes from people who were more than happy to replace my windows. if you need new construction windows I might say think twice. I will say that when the salesman Mason came out he seemed very friendly he showed us two windows was brief and not to much detail about either we picked based more on look than information. When we realized that retrofit windows may not be possible and we might have to d new construction another visit this time Mason the salesman with Jason the owner and Bruno who does stucco. Jason was also very nice the customer service were still there but as we stated to walk and look at the windows it seemed more like the stucco man was schooling the owner Jason on what would need to be done. I was a bit concerned I did ask if he had ever done a job this big as I did have 20 windows to replace and new construction was what we thought was needed plus to re-stucco the home after. He was honest when he said no but that he was confident thy could. I appreciated the honesty. However when the stucco man Bruno stuck a crowbar in-between the window and stucco to see what he could behind the window I was shocked. He actually created a crack between the wall inside and the window. You could now actually jiggle the window when my husband came home and saw what had gone on. I was told they would need to remove a few of the windows to really know how to move forward. Completely agree But then why cause more possible damage with the crowbar just remove the windows. There was no attempt to place any sealant in the area they pulled back? Upsetting I was then actually surprised to hear that it would be the stucco man Bruno removing the windows t se how to move forward although the owner Jason , salesman Mason and the actual window installer would all be present again that seemed odd. Why was not the window company removing the window why was not the window installer taking it out for everyone to inspect. I was then called a few days later and told I would pay another man a check directly in his name $250 to see what they needed to do. Why am I not paying a company where is my protection if the further damage my window or home. I finally did ask what the name was of the other stucco company and did not hear back until the day of the next appointment. But yet I got a call back in just minutes when I said I would need the name for the payment as I would need to get a cashiers check from my bank since I had no personal checks. So after all this my husband and I were a bit concerned about them being able to handle the job there knowledge and how this all seemed to be handled I did attempt to call Jason one more time but only heard back from Mason. As we decided it was in our best interest to get a second company out to give there opinion. That did not sit well with Mason. When I explained that before they came out again and did anything I was getting another quote and inspection first. He was upset reminded me a bit like a child he said "Well I was calling to give you the name of the stucco company but I guess that's a waste of time now" "I guess I will call everyone and tell them you cancelled" In my opinion he took himself and his company off the job. I never stated we would not use them simply shared my concerns ...which he in no way tried to clear up. Instead he took his ball and went home. With a company with such good reviews I would think they would have addressed my concerns explained why they were doing things the way they were and even said great get your other quote I am confident that you will see we will be the best company to work with...but nope just a complaint about having to call 3 people who's numbers didn't have to cancel and that was that. so was I disappointed yes. But when the new company came out they were very professional I might add they didn't even charge me to remove the window to see but I would have paid if asked and the owner and the installer where the men who removed the windows and sealed the perfect after the inspection. The windows are actually 1 grade better than the others. A very nice man from a stucco company came out who works with them and gave me his quote all went great and in the end we signed with them and was very pleased to this point. I didn't want to be rude so I didn't post the name of the other company but if you like look my name up to see all my reviews as I will be posting a review on the job they did in a 3 to 4 weeks once everything is complete. read more

JWG continues to give me reasons to be happy with them - Absolutely amazing customer service even 6 months AFTER installation. After having our windows installed, we had to, unexpectedly, get our foundation repaired. After the foundation work was done, 2 windows no longer closed all the way. I called Jason and he had the installation team come out to take a look. They would have to pop out and reset those windows, so they scheduled a time to come out at no charge to fix those 2 windows.
