I am a continuous visitor for this place since 2017 . But she never values her customer ,but still i visited this place only for Ramola didi's waxing service . For the past 3 visits, i asked for Ramola didi to do my waxing but she fixed the appointment accepting it and messed up the service by sending additional new person along with her. I messaged her my concern after my visit since she was not at the counter during the billing time but she didn't even respond to it . She would respect only the money and not the customer . There are more good salons near Santa Clara with same price and service . Don't fall for her pricing and lose respect. read more

I have been searching for a good threading place and this is the best I have found. I have gone to Jyoti twice in the past few months. The first time her work was great but the second time she was more rushed and left a few fine hair unthreaded. I usually get a full face threading done. The eye brows also had a few strays this time that I had to pluck. Why did I still give a 5 star rating? Because I've seen the potential and feel I can tell her she missed areas and to be careful next time. ( I will update this review with feedback). Her work even with these misses is better than most. Other pros: She is prompt in her service and quietly finishes her work as opposed to places where their attention is divided with phone calls or they are busy gossiping about other customers with each other. I hate the fish market feel where the girls keep bitching in Hindi (which i can understand) or their own languages and do sloppy work. Cons : Her timings are limited 11 - 5 and she takes only cash.If you can get around these it is worth it. read more

I've been to Jyoti's for both waxing and eyebrow threading. The techs are nice, and they certainly do a good job. The price is also very reasonable. However, even though you have to get an appointment for waxing, I have consistently had to wait at least 30 min after my appointment time to be seen. The last time I was here, I had to wait a full hour after my appointment time to be seen. What's the point of getting an appointment, then? I consistently also wait at least 30 min for eyebrow threading as well, as they are very busy in the late afternoon/evening. If you have time to wait, then Jyoti's is great, but if you are in a rush or don't want to wait, I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

I literally got my eyebrows completely botched here. I when after reading the great reviews I was sure me eyebrows were gonna come out amazing. when I visited the salon and saw 3 girls before me get there eyebrows flawlessly threaded so I was super excited to get mine done. I told jottee 2 things 1. I like to keep my eyebrows as thick as possible 2. I like them to be in more of and arched shape than rounded. My eyebrows are now pencil thin and look like a drag queen! I'm devastated that I have to start all over with my brows. The worst part is that my brows are not even if she cut that much off they should be perfectly even. read more

I came to this place based on the reviews. Thought it would be great, based on the amount of people that go there but the lady that did my eyebrows was not good at all. Both eyebrows are uneven thickness and when I asked her to go a second time to clean up the other spots she missed she said it was too small to do. First time I've heard that in the many years I've been threading my brows. It was already a drive for me to go there and upsetting turnout. I won't be back. read more

I do not recommend getting waxed here. The waxing applicators are re-used between clients. There is a high risk of infection in such cases. When I objected to getting waxed with such waxing applicators, I was told that other clients did not object to this and was refused a new applicator. Ideally, they should use a new applicator for each client. read more

She has good skills but terrible customer service ! Of the 5 times I have been here she has been able to help me just 2 times . When called she says she doesn't need appointment for threading and I can come anytime before she closes , but when I do just that she says am busy cannot take customers . She doesn't ask if you can come back another time or can you can please wait , just a rude "am busy". Please take appointments however small or big the service is ! You definitely cannot manage otherwise . read more

A friend of mine introduced me to this place and I got my facial, waxing, threading and a head massage from Jyoti's just before my wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the service and detail to each of the service. They take their time with the facial , do not rush you and is one of the best facials I have ever had in the bay area. Also, the head massage was so good that I felt way too relaxed and good. Jyoti did the massage and waxing and she is a pro :) As I was in there for a long time, they were so sweet to even offer coffee and snacks to munch on. I came here a few weeks back on a Saturday morning. I waited about 30 minutes before finally getting my brows done. There were lots of people waiting but only 1-2 people working at a time. The usual place I go to is a lot faster (walk in and walk out) so I wasn't too happy about the wait. I only came here because I happened to be in Sunnyvale. However, I was pretty satisfied with how my brows were done and the pricing is not bad at all. I would probably come by again if I happen to be in Sunnyvale, and if I'm looking to get my eyebrows down for a decent price. However, I'd definitely make an appointment next time or come on a less busy day to avoid the wait. read more

I came here for a facial and eyebrow threading. The facial was good, but the ambiance was left to be desired. There was a lot of noise permeating into the room which took away from the experience.
