First timer for Cookie. Close to home. And very affordable. Linda the owner was very talkative & friendly which I like! Despite everyone else's negative remarks about her, we still felt welcomed! Was able to get an appointment 2 days after calling which was great. Linda asked what type of cut I wanted and delivered accordingly. No complaints at all. We will definitely return for future fur cuts Thanks Linda.

I came to this place because my original grooming place wasn't reopening until September. My aunt had recommended me this place, plus I saw a lot of great reviews. When we walked in, Linda was super friendly to both me and my dog and my dog's haircut looked great! But my dog came home with an EAR INFECTION. She kept shaking her head, scratching her ear, and crying and when I looked in her ear, there was discharge or earwax or something. I clean my dog's ears weekly and she's never had any problems, not even with her original groomer. But when I take her to this new place, all of a sudden she has an ear infection. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Linda's a great groomer. I mean she did give my dog a really cute haircut. But regardless, my dog has an ear infection.

Have been coming here for years. May not look like much from the outside, but I've had way better groomer experiences here than at popular chains such as Petsmart. She does a great, timely job on my Maltese/Lhasa Paso. I've always been satisfied with her cut, and she always seems pleasantly happy when I pick her up. The cut itself is under $40, which is great! She also cuts my Rat Terrier's nails (he isn't the friendliest dog when his nails are involved), on a walk-in basis and for only $5.

I finally found my favorite groomer! Linda is super nice and she's so sweet to the dogs. I've gone to other places that have mistreated my malshi. I had no idea that my dog had a rash and she let me know when I got there and also that she decided to give her a oat bath to calm her skin. She truly cares for the dogs and does such a great job. I recommend this place 100%

You have returned for me human!

I had a really disappointing experience here and feel completely misled…read more Before coming in, I called to ask about the price for a nail trim and made sure to mention that my dog is large. I was told it would be $10-$15. When I arrived, the place looked clean and I even checked the price list posted in the waiting area, which also clearly said $10-$15 for nail trimming. However, after the service was done, I was charged $25. When I questioned it and explained that I had called ahead and specifically mentioned that my dog is large, the response I got was that they "didn't know he was that big." My dog is a large doodle -- not some unusually massive or rare breed -- and I had already made that clear over the phone. It's extremely frustrating to confirm pricing beforehand, see the same price advertised in the shop, and then be charged significantly more afterward with no real explanation. If the price depends on size, that should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer takes the time to ask beforehand. This felt misleading and unprofessional. I left feeling like the pricing was not transparent and that my concerns were dismissed when I brought them up. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

Although our dogs coat is most likely permanently damaged from the first experience we had MVP grooming changed our views on grooming. On top of that our dog is fear reactive with men and although our groomer was male our dog did not bark growl or show any type of fear or aggression whatsoever!!! Which is rare for our dog and that just shows the type of good energy and vibes MVP grooming had, thank you so much for an amazing experience! Sincerely Taz and his happy hooman

Update in response to the owner's comment:…read more Cesar, I actually did reach out privately before updating my review because I wanted to give you the opportunity to address my concerns first. As you can see from our text conversation, I asked whether paw pad trimming was included, explained that the last few grooms had been inconsistent, and pointed out the uneven cuts. The response I received was, "We'll do our best to make it right next time." You also mentioned that my last visit was over a month ago. I'm not sure why that's relevant. Three of my dogs are seniors, and I keep them brushed and maintained between grooming appointments. They don't need to be groomed every month. My fourth dog is a pit bull who receives a deshedding treatment, and she doesn't require monthly appointments either. I would never overgroom my dogs, especially my seniors, because frequent bathing and grooming can strip their natural oils. I also stand by what I experienced regarding the bather. I immediately asked you, "Did he just complain?" after hearing him complain when he realized he had my dogs. You responded, "Yeah man, that's what he gets paid to do." That interaction only reinforced my decision. My review reflects my experience after bringing my dogs to your business for about a year. I reached out privately first because I genuinely hoped my concerns would be taken seriously. Unfortunately, they weren't, which is why I updated my review. This will be my last comment on the matter because I don't feel the need to go back and forth. I've simply shared my experience as a customer. It's unfortunate that this profession has developed a reputation where so many pet owners struggle to find groomers they can consistently trust. I sincerely hope you take this feedback into consideration for the sake of your future clients and their pets. ............................................................................................. I hate having to update my review, but unfortunately my experience has changed. I've been bringing my dogs here for about a year. At first, I was happy with the grooming, but over the last several visits I've noticed a decline in quality. My three long-haired dogs came home with uneven haircuts where some areas were noticeably longer than others. I also recently realized their paw pads weren't fully trimmed, even though I was later told that paw pad trimming is included with haircuts. I reached out privately before updating my review because I wanted to give them the opportunity to address my concerns. The response I received was simply, "We'll do our best to make it right next time." After multiple inconsistent grooms, that response didn't give me much confidence. Another thing that really bothered me was overhearing one of the bathers complain when he realized he had my dogs to work on. As a customer, that's not something you want to hear when you're trusting people to care for your pets. Based on my recent experiences and the response I received, I've decided to find another groomer. It's incredibly hard to find groomers you can trust because they often start out doing a great job, but over time the quality changes. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken seriously for the sake of other dogs and their owners.

They didn't really ask the name of my dog, or asked what I came in for. They just asked to take my dog in the back and then asked what I was here for. the staff were friendly but each staff had different definitions when it came to full grooming, the person who was the actual groomer clarified so that helped. I did warn her my dog had skin tags all over the body and to be very careful when you do the cut. I also mentioned he is a very nervous boy so to mindful of that. They finished in two hours as promised. I came to pick him up and they told me they nicked one of the skin tags on his arm but took care of it right away, grateful for the honesty. It was interesting, the staff was speaking to me as if I was a returning customer and told me my dog did better this time around. I think they got me confused with a different customer as I never been there before. A few hours later I noticed on the top of my dogs back, where there is quite a few skin tags, a few spots were bleeding! I know it's hard to cut around the skin tags but almost every big bump he has was bleeding so it was a little frustrating to take care of it. I don't think I'll be coming back but I appreciated the service.
