I came to this place because my original grooming place wasn't reopening until September. My aunt had recommended me this place, plus I saw a lot of great reviews. When we walked in, Linda was super friendly to both me and my dog and my dog's haircut looked great! But my dog came home with an EAR INFECTION. She kept shaking her head, scratching her ear, and crying and when I looked in her ear, there was discharge or earwax or something. I clean my dog's ears weekly and she's never had any problems, not even with her original groomer. But when I take her to this new place, all of a sudden she has an ear infection. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Linda's a great groomer. I mean she did give my dog a really cute haircut. But regardless, my dog has an ear infection. read more

unfortunately i'm updating my review. I always make an appointment far in advance to have my dog groomed, dropping my pup off @ 8:30 am, but Linda cannot get her out till about 4:00 pm. Always being told there is other dogs needed to be out earlier. I could see if i was a walk in situation, but i make my appointments far in advance, so what gives. I do not want my dog in a cage all day long, I have gone elsewhere now, & my pup is out in 3 hrs, & they do just as good of a job & are closer. It didn't matter how far in advance i made the appointment, because it seems she put my pup on the back burner, always having a more important grooming situation ahead of her. I guess my business didn't count, will not be going back. read more

Have been coming here for years. May not look like much from the outside, but I've had way better groomer experiences here than at popular chains such as Petsmart. She does a great, timely job on my Maltese/Lhasa Paso. I've always been satisfied with her cut, and she always seems pleasantly happy when I pick her up. The cut itself is under $40, which is great! She also cuts my Rat Terrier's nails (he isn't the friendliest dog when his nails are involved), on a walk-in basis and for only $5. read more

Pearl, is one happy dog after visiting the groomers. Linda's K-9 Kastle is one groomer that I will keep coming back to. I never went to a place that is friendly and shows that they care about your dog as much as Linda and her coworker. I really enjoy their service. If they tell me to come back in 2 hours, she is done in 2 hours. If they tell me that it is going to be $38, it will be $38. You get the point. I really enjoy coming here and will def. come back. Just make sure to bring cash, because I believe they do not accept cards nor checks. read more

ZERO STARS. Linda is a horrific, rude person to deal with. She is the most condescending and disrespectful person I've ever met. Even if she produces satisfactory work, she does not care for your pet's comfort just the money she can make off of them. I used to bring my dogs to only clip their nails because I didn't trust leaving them alone with her because of her abrasive demeanor. In this instance, I was holding my small dog on the counter when she suddenly yipped and lunged at Linda, something she'd never ever done before. Linda refused to continue the trim and said my dog was too aggressive. When I looked down her nail was bleeding and I explained she had been hurt. Linda said she wouldn't continue and demanded payment. She did not offer anything to soothe my dog's injury and didn't take accountability. When we returned home her nail was still dripping blood till we finally were able to get it to stop. She was left with a bloody nail and several untrimmed nails to her discomfort and Linda was never apologetic. This woman does not like animals. She likes money and business. Do not take your business here and ESPECIALLY your pets. read more

I finally found my favorite groomer! Linda is super nice and she's so sweet to the dogs. I've gone to other places that have mistreated my malshi. I had no idea that my dog had a rash and she let me know when I got there and also that she decided to give her a oat bath to calm her skin. She truly cares for the dogs and does such a great job. I'm glad to see that others have had a good experience here. We took our dog here for a basic grooming twice. The first time, we had an appointment and we had to call twice to find out if she was done and both times were told she wasn't ready yet. This was about a 3 hour time span. The second time is what warrants the one star. We took our dog in for a 9:00am appointment. After calling several times, we were told to come get her at 6pm. NINE hours later. When we arrived to pick her up, they were just drying her off. She hadn't eaten all day despite us bringing her food with her and I'm sure was kept in a cage all day. When she got home, she was starving. The price may be right, but I could have taken her to a doggy day care the entire day where she would have been treated much better. We won't be returning here. read more

my chipin was in dire need of an anal gland expression, nail trim and a bath. i normally bathe her myself, but she hates water after a near death (in her eyes) experience at the beach, and now bathing her is a legit struggle. so, i buttered her up with a hike early Saturday morning, fed her some delicious treats and then took her in to Linda's who was gracious enough to take us in 30 minutes after i called. on top of her pure hatred for water, choco has severe separation anxiety. she was shaking up a storm, and you could see the nerves in her eyes. they were really great with waiting til she was relatively calm, and then took her in to work their magic. it was $25 to do all of the above, plus checking of the ears, and she was all dolled up in a couple of hours. upon my return to pick her up, choco stared at me from her cage as though she couldn't believe i had actually returned. as if she had just seen a long lost lover that she had lost connection with 20 years prior. it was a great moment. it was even greater, because she was soft as a babies butt, had smooth nails, and a clean butt. i took her home where she rejoiced by heading straight to her toy basket, and promptly fell asleep 5 minutes later with toy in mouth. she still smells good, and i will totally be returning. FYI: no credit/debit cards are accepted. cash or check only. also, really very affordable, and they have dog items for sale at an incredibly reasonable price as well. read more

(I usually have my dog groomed at the vet we go to, but decided to save the trouble cuz it's only a nail trim.) That's when we came across Linda's k-9 castle. I immediately called her and asked if I could walk in or do I need an appointment and she told me I could come in today at anytime and she'll do it right away :) I got over there immediately and she was glad to trim my Ben's nails upon arrival! We recently adopted a rescue dog, a Maltese. A friend recommended Linda's K9. We took our baby there for grooming, explaining the abusive past our poor baby has had. The staff is kind caring and very patient. Their grooming skills are wonderful. Not only do they do a thorough, loving job when grooming her, they also offer a between visit drop in service to the regular customers to get the gunkeys out of her eyes and trim up her facial area! I was referred to Linda's K9 Kastle by my veterinarian... And 3 others while asking around at Fullerton Pooch Park. Their prices are great and we usually plan our visit the same day as my dog's best friend, Diego and they let them wait in the same kennel together so they can play and sleep next to each other, making them more comfortable. Linda's is about 25 minutes from me, but WELL worth the drive to me. Julie cuts my Lhasa Apso mix, Sam's hair and she really listens to what I want (and I am VERY particular!) Sam has a tendency to get pretty itchy at times, so I asked her if she could use his anti-itch shampoo for me and she happily obliged. Additionally, she lives it on for 5-10 minutes as the directions suggest, which I hadn't even noticed when I read them. Now, I leave the shampoo there in their cabinet with his name on it which makes my life easier. Some reviewer's complained that they don't like their dogs in a cage or kennel, but I prefer this for my dog's safety, health and hygiene purposes. It is true that the dogs tend to be there for a long time, but if I need to pick up my dog by a certain time, I tell Julie that when I make my appointment and confirm when I drop my dog off and he is Always done by that time. Yes, this place is a little old school, but I like that! When my grandfather unexpectedly passed away and I had to go out of town, I called Julie right when they opened on a Friday morning in February and asked her if I could bring Sam in (and I'd be there in 20 minutes) and if she would groom him first as I needed to take him with me out of town. She agreed as I apologized and offered to pay double as I knew it was an inconvenience. She did not charge me one penny over the standard rate and she took my baby first and called me 15 minutes before he was done to tell me he was almost ready as she knew I was in a rush. Sam has never been to another groomer, and has been seeing Julie for over a year now and I plan to continue to take him to Julie as I've never seen a dog screeching it nails on the floor to not go in like I have witnessed passing by some chain stores grooming departments, like Petsmart. read more

A+++++ Best groomer ever and I have 2 extremely challenging dogs. Our Cha-weenie is a big baby and he's had his nails clipped at several groomers over the years - each time you would think he was being tortured - and a few groomers said they could not get near him. Linda picks him up and does it while we talk, and this monster dog's tail is wagging (no whimpers, no jumps, no classic big-baby revolts - nothin). Our other dog (an American Eskimo - that's like a Samoid Husky) isn't as big of a baby but he is a fusspot with very long fur and he not to be outshone by the chaweenie likes to paw box with the groomer (funny as hell to watch). He looks absolutely gorgeous and his cut is always beautiful, and the groomer is always sensitive to the heat weather in terms of going extra heavy thinning in summer. The first thing she asked was what kind of dog is she, I said she is an Australian cattle dog. Then she replied we don't take any Australian cattle dog. I mean really? What's wrong with this breed? Took my bulldog in for just a bath and nail clipping. Seemed as though she didn't want to deal with a bulldog. She have me the excuse that he was to heavy to lift, even though there was 2 people in the back working on dogs. I told her I would just take my business somewhere else.
