My dog recently was having much pain when moving and is known to have hip dysplasia which seemed to be exasperated for some reason. When I called to see if I could get him in I was given an appointment 3 weeks away. My dog is yelping in pain and they give me an appointment almost a month out? No attempt was made to get him in earlier and no sense of urgency at all. Took him to Urgent Pet Care in Surprise and they were wonderful but very expensive. I'm moving my dog to Castle Rock Pet Doc. Best of Burg? Not in my experience...

Prices are unbeatable for the care you get. If you want cheap options that do not have the pets best interest in mind, just medications and out the door you go. Then this isn't the place for you. If you want doctors who actually care about the livelihood of your pet with treatment options where you have a say in your pets care, with doctors who are going to meet you where you're at and sit down and actually give you the time of day and ask questions about your pet because they care, then this is the place for you. They're always so gentle in handling our pets and you can tell our dogs like them which is a huge because they don't normally like the vet, at all. That says something.
