Blessing is so precious and full of life.
    Donella M.

I took my loving dog Blessing to this veterinarian since my previous dog passed away. Blessing came to the vet for an ear infection and vet told me Blessing needed updated distemper and parvo vaccination. I told her I really don't like vaccinations and she more or less implied she would not treat animals that don't have updated vaccines. I conceded and had her give the vaccine to Blessing (along with rabies vaccine 2 weeks prior). Ever since Tuesday my beloved dog has been sick with vomiting and today is Friday. He cannot keep food or water down. I called the office to ask for him to be seen and was informed it would cost an emergency visit fee as well as a regular office fee. REALLY?? Is it really all about the money with these people. I am beside myself. I will never return. I am elderly and cannot afford these fees. So far I have spent nearly $400 there this month alone.

Price gouging. These veterinarians wanted to charge us $450 for horse travel papers that another vet did for $150. Offensive.

We hadn't kept up with regular dental cleanings or brushing her teeth, so we were worried she would need several extractions. At her age, we were especially concerned about the risks of anesthesia. After reviewing her bloodwork, Dr. Dunphy reassured us that Gigi was a good candidate for the procedure and explained how much it would improve her comfort by relieving her mouth pain, making it easier for her to eat, and, thankfully, eliminating the bad breath that could clear a room! From the very beginning, Dr. Dunphy was kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She took the time to answer all of our questions, and I felt completely confident that Gigi was in excellent hands. The procedure went perfectly, and her recovery was much easier than we expected. In the end, only two teeth needed to be extracted and a deep cleaning her teeth look amazing. I didn't know they could be white again. Her breath is fresh again. We truly appreciated Dr. Dunphy's honesty and fairness throughout the entire process. We've also loved Dr. Leber, who has cared for Gigi for many years, but as he gets closer to retirement, it's such a relief to know we've found another veterinarian at the same clinic that we trust just as much. The drive from Peoria is absolutely worth it. We highly recommend Dr. Dunphy and the entire team for the exceptional care they provide. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our sweet Gigi!

Took the animal to spay clinic where they confirmed she had already been spayed once they trimmed some hair and saw the previous scar. A bit disappointing to specifically ask a vet to ensure an animal doesn't need a surgery, to be told she does, because a thorough exam was not completed. Medicine is a "practice" for sure, but potentially putting an animal at risk by having unnecessary anesthesia or surgery because an extra moment wasn't taken to make a correct diagnosis is a bit frustrating.

We contacted Angel Veterinary Services at 5:00 am and left a message that we need assistance with transitioning our puppy to a better place. We immediately received a call back from their offices letting us know Dr. Alexis and her assistant, Rhi were available at 11 am to come to our house and euthanize our puppy. We were heart broken with having to make this decision. When Dr. Alexis and Rhi arrived at our house they met us at the front door with so much love and compassion that we knew Sawyer would be in good hands throughout this process. While our hearts were broken, Dr. Alexis helped us feel like we made the right decision and Sawyer had transitioned to a much better place. OVer the next couple of days, we recieved so much support through Dr. Alexis and her team that made us feel so much better and we know our Sawyer is no longer suffering and in a much better place with our previous puppy, Mona Lisa and our family in heaven. I know I have rambled on, but from the bottom of my heart, I can't thank Dr. Alexis and her team for being there for us in such a difficult time. Our hearts will always be with them as they were with us through such a hard time. With all our love, we share this review.

Before this all happened I had seen a Dodo story about an animal chiropractor. I never knew there was such a thing. After our dog was injured I recalled the story and that is when I found Sonoran Animal Chiropractic on Yelp. The medication was helping, but it made him extra hungry, extra thirsty, band after a few week not much improvement. When it wore off he was in pain again. I wanted more for him and a better quality of life. It has been a week since his first adjustment with Dr. Kennedy and he is no longer walking arched in pain, and is no longer taking medication. Mind you every evening before bed I have been icing his trouble areas and giving him a gentle massage as well to keep his muscles relaxed. Making sure that there are not any hot spots first that could get irritated. We have our old dog back and I am so thankful. I really believe in chiropractic care. He sees Dr. Kennedy again in a week. I can't for her to see how much he has improved. Inam over thr moon amd so happy.
