I do not recommend this breeder. Maureen was very evasive about answering a SIMPLE question (regarding a "picking your pup" procedure). My wife and I are exploring potential breeders. Her website was not clear on how and when you "pick your pup". I had to ask the question three times and finally I pulled it out of her. Obviously she did not like answering the question (and/or explaining how it is done). Finally, her evasive answer was that you pick your pup via "email". I then simply stated that I could not understand how you can pick a pup via email... and "did she instead mean" ; Facebook, Skype, Snapchat, so that we could see the pups interact with each other, etc.... At that point, she said she was not comfortable being our breeder. This breeder appears to be in it for the money and lacks the love of dogs and interested in their placement. At best she lacks basic business/people skills. With this attitude, can you imagine her availability for answering questions after you bring your pup home. I recommend another breeder. PS..... the breeder responded on Yelp after she read my review and FALSELY SAID I my emails were hostile. This is ABSOLUTLEY NOT TRUE..... I have the emails to prove it. She did not like having to answer questions about her "pick a pup procedure".... first evaded answering (in two emails) .... then (in a third email request) she give an answer that said..... "you pick your pup in an email ..... and that she was not comfortable being my breeder". NO ONE PICKS A PUP VIA EMAIL.... AT MINIMUM, YOU DO IT VIA FACEBOOK, SKYPE, SNAPCHAT, ETC. read more

I've lost count as to how many times someone has commented how calm and sweet my 7 month old puppy is. I'm so grateful for Maureen and her work in breeding dogs with the best temperament. I know many of Maureen's puppies go on to become service and facility dogs. In fact, my puppy's littermate is going to work at the local police department! I've also lost count as to how many times I've been asked who the breeder is because he's a good looking dog. I know the wait list for one of Maureen's puppies is long, but I promise you it's well worth the wait! She's a breeder with integrity and excellent experience. "BUYER BEWARE" (See my Google review for more details) Headline: AZGD guarantees their puppies "will be in excellent health". We just picked up a mini BernieDoodle from them. We took her to our Vet & Maja, our puppy was diagnosed with "Vaginitis" & a Coccidia infection. Our Vet could not believe Maja would be transferred in this condition, as it is visible to the naked eye. (See my photos on Google). Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vagina that occurs in puppies. It is a sticky, white discharge that sticks to the hair around it. It may clear up, or it may be lifelong. Maja also had a Coccidia Infection that was diagnosed in a stool sample we ordered & paid for. AZGD stated "That most breeders do not do a fecal sample before transfer" I WOULD EXPECT A BREEDER THAT CHARGES $3,000 TO DO ONE. I contacted AZGD to no avail. This little angel is funny, not frightened by our larger doodle, has tons of personality, and is a very healthy bundle of joy. She is the happiest little girl in the world. I've debated writing this review for a while now. And after yet another sleepless night of cleaning up more vomit/diarrhea and preparing for yet another trip to the vet for our Mini Bernedoodle, I figured it was time. I'm going to keep this as short as possible but I could literally write a book for how much hell we've been through with our not even 3 year old Mini Bernedoodle. We got her from Maureen in late 2020 (she was born on 10/15/2020). The "fun" started within just an hour after bringing her home on day 1. Explosive, bloody diarrhea. Fast forward to today, where I'll be making another trip to the vet, and it's been 2.5 years of nothing but vomiting, diarrhea, abnormal pica behavior, constant itching/yeast issues and a bunch of other random infections and behavior problems. We've spent THOUSANDS of dollars in trying to help this dog. We've had countless sleepless nights and have made multiple ER vet trips. We've seen multiple trainers and vets, both regular and holistic. We've tried multiple different diets, supplements, probiotics, etc. We've tried everything we can think of and nothing has helped. Our dog is usually loaded up with drugs (which has noticeable side effects) as a band-aid fix only for the same issues to cycle back around. Our dog has been tested for virtually everything possible and the only thing we've been told is that she has chronic IBD. She's been severely underweight for her entire life and she eats and acts like she's starved. She's constantly vomiting and/or having diarrhea and everything that's been recommended by "experts", doesn't help or change much of anything. And that's just that side of things. When we brought her home as a puppy, her behavior was just "different". She was very anxious and acted like a wild animal. I can't help but wonder how traumatic the first handful of weeks of her life was? And Looking back, it's no wonder we never saw our puppy being held by Maureen's grandchildren in the pictures that she puts out there on social media. We can't even take her out in the yard without being on a leash or muzzle because she'll attempt to eat everything. From clothing inside the house, to sticks, leaves, and even small ROCKS outside of the house, she'll attempt to consume it. And again, all of these things were issues from day 1 of bringing her home. I reached out to Maureen a few different times since we brought her home. And by her responses, or lack-there-of, she couldn't care less. And why should she? She got our $3,500 for her. She's no longer her problem. But this dog had SERIOUS issues presenting itself on day 1 of bringing her home. The problems were obvious. Either Maureen knew and didn't tell us or she didn't know because of the amount of dogs that she is breeding now. Either way, Arizona Goldendoodles looks like an upscale puppy mill by the amount of dogs being bred and the lack of connection to each puppy that comes from there now. And you know how I can say that? This is our second dog from Maureen. Our first dog was a Mini Goldendoodle that we brought home back in May of 2017. She is the BEST dog. And the difference from what Arizona Goldendoodles was then to now is night and day. I've seen it firsthand with our own experience from 2017 to 2020. Arizona Goldendoodles used to be a SMALL scale breeder that cared and connected with each and every puppy and truly went out of their way to match each puppy to the perfect family based on lifestyle. Now, it's simply like, "Hey, you want a cute Mini Doodle? That'll be $3,500, come pick one up." From my experience, this breeder is rude. Simple questions like "Do you have puppies available?", or "Do you have any spots available on your upcoming litters?" received short snobby responses like, "We never have puppies available." I'm not sure if the owner is on a high horse because of her 30 seconds of fame on a local news station or what, but after reading a lot of the negative reviews on Google I was glad I didn't buy from her. There are many other breeders who health test, perform ENS, ESI and follow a good training program (not sure what her process is but if so many people can't get a straight answer regarding availability and wait times, I don't see how you can ask these questions without receiving a rude response. She may think you're attacking her or something.) I ended up finding the perfect dog on a website called Good Dog. The puppy was already born and I knew exactly what she looked like when I picked her. The breeder and I talked to make sure she was a good fit. It was a nice experience vs paying a deposit and waiting for a dog that may not be available to me. I've also noticed other breeders who post their waitlist online so that people can check where they stand in line. I think something like this might be helpful for this breeder. I wouldn't have minded paying a deposit and waiting, but when questions aren't answered clearly, it creates a frustrating situation. Im just glad I never went as far as paying a deposit. read more

Maureen is an amazing breeder, she has kept in contact with me even after I picked up my sweet Ellie! She honestly has the best tempered dogs around, and she always has the best interest of the parents and puppy in mind. My Ellie ( who is a service dog in training) is only nine months and she is always making me proud by how mild mannered and sweet she is. I am constantly getting compliments on her temperament, intelligence , coat/ color and her eyes because there so beautiful! Calm and obedient. I can put a steak on a cocktail table and walk away and she won't go near it. Never ate a shoe. walks off leash without a problem. Fantastic.
