The business is located on a sketch corner of Liliha and Vineyard, but I live closeby and drive by it frequently, so for many months now, my eye has caught the dog grooming sign outside. It's not the nicest location, but I'm so glad I found the Yelp reviews, which gave me confidence in taking my baby here. I called on a random day and Misun answered the phone, and was able to accommodate my dog that week! This is something I'm not used to. When we arrived, I parked in the back (enter on Liliha, makai direction), and Misun opened the back door. She was so sweet and let my Kiki baby sniff around apprehensively. I could tell she loved dogs and took the time to let my dog check out the new environment. There wasn't any service descriptions, packages, or liability forms, so I found that a little odd, but trusted that all would be well and that I wouldn't be surprised on cost. Misun shared that the grooming is all inclusive at $75 so I figured that was fine. She called me three hours later and I picked up my Kiki and paid via electronic app. I was very pleased - my doggie was very cute, the staff was so nice, and I'd definitely come back again. While I might like a "lite" package to do some maintenance in between some big groomings, I definitely can do the "all inclusive" several times a year. read more

Finally found a groomer that's conveniently located to us ever since we moved to town. We used to go to Kapolei just to get our dog groomed and we've kept coming back because we know they'll do the job. I was honestly skeptical at this place first even though I've seen it before when we first moved but considering the drive, I had to take a shot and boy I'm so glad I did! MiSun is the most sweetest patient groomer I've experienced. When my doggie was done-I was expecting-thank you but no bring your doggy back but she was so understanding and welcomed my dog back! My dog Tierra is a big scaredy dog and afraid of everything. She is so hard to bathe and trim her nails but not with MiSun. Many places weren't accepting any new clients, so we're so glad that we were able to book an appointment at K-9 Style, and could come in as soon as this weekend for a full groom (haircut, bath, nail trimming, anal gland expression...). Japanese ladies are absolutely the kindest people you'll ever meet. The last pet groomer I went to was also a Japanese lady so when I saw that the groomer here was Japanese, I knew I was going to have a good experience. I'm literally hopping from different groomers to see which is the best for my little Luffy and since this place is literally a 3 minute walk from my house, this takes first place! She'll kindly take your walk-in if you're like me and got really lazy to plan ahead and make an appointment HA. Just call her and see what times she has available for you. She guided me on what kind of haircut I wanted and she had a bunch of pictures on her wall of different dogs and their cut. I was able to leave him with her while I went back home and waited for 2 hours until I could come back and pick him up. For those of you who don't live nearby, there is a small parking lot in the back! My total came to a little less than $70 and that includes nail trimming too. The owner of this place is so sweet and you can tell that she's really experience with animals. I called on a random day to see if she has any opening for a nail cutting for my dog. My dog has really long nails and I could never get to touch his nails with the nail trimmer at home. I let the owner know and she assured me it will be ok and told me to bring in my dog Jackie. The place has a small parking lot in the back. From the outside, the store doesn't look like much. But when you walk in you can see that it is fully equipped for grooming. She will lock the front door once you come in because she focuses on one animal at a time which is really nice. The place also looks clean and neat. She was really friendly with my dog and kept assuring him when he got nervous. She was able to cut my dogs nails and file them smooth too. Nail cutting was $15. Mi Sun, the owner of K9 Style is be far the best doggie hairstylist around. Bella, my doggo is quite possibly the most boujee dog ever born and hates all things dirty, able to move, and foreign to her...Including people. I've taken her to Petco, where she hated it. We are newcomers from San Diego and we were worried about finding a groomer for our beloved mini schnauzer, Gandalf. K-9 Style Groomers had great reviews and it was close to home so I took a chance. When I called to make an appointment, Mi Sun was very helpful and EXCITED to groom our schnauzer since there aren't very many of them here on the island. Already I felt comfortable!!! Brought Gandalf in for his noon appointment. Mi Sun stopped what she was doing when we walked in. We chatted for a little bit and she invited us both into the back where I filled out paperwork. I liked how she acknowledged my dog in the back area. She then asked if I wanted a "schnauzer cut" and I said yes. She asked about his eyes and beard because typically these areas on a schnauzer have a specific cut. She made a suggestion regarding his eyebrows and I just had a feeling that I coukd trust her. I knew he was going to look outstanding!!! 3 hours later my girls and I arrived to pick up Gandalf, it was the moment of truth!!!! To be honest, he has never looked better. I'm no groomer but you can tell the effort and time Mi Sun took to make my dog look so handsome! His ears were spot on, shaved close to the leather! His trim underneath was excellently cut and level. Even his behind looked good, LOL! Overall, wonderful experience! Will definitely come back for more. I was nervous, as was Oliver, as this was his first grooming. From the moment I walked in the door I felt comfortable and welcomed. Ollie wasn't as impressed, but he eventually warmed up. My dog at first was very nervous being here and he had a lot of under coat hair because he's a Pomeranian/Japanese Spitz so really needed a de- shedding. When I came to pick him up he was really happy. The owner did such a great job cleaning him up. Thank you yelp reviewers...without your high ratings and descriptions, I would not, perhaps, have considered this groomer. But like most said, the owner/groomer is great and loving. My puppy could be diagnosed with ADHD, he just wants to play and she showers him with love and attention--giving him exactly what he craves. He actually gets excited to be there! He just recently got a english cocker spaniel hair cut and I must say, he looks totally dashing! Oh and another thing, he had a rash on his scalp and I went to her so he could have his head shaved (and thus, make it so I could apply his ointment easier), she refused to accept payment for this. read more
