Quality wise....this picture says it all. I didnt realize Kiyoshi was so scraggly until I compared him to his freshly groomed picture. I wish I could give more than 5 starts. Christine (owner) did an excellent cut, nail trim, gland secretion, bath and a mini photoshoot. She took both of my Pomeranians within just a few days notice. I made a post a year ago saying how amazing this grooming spot was. I have to make a new review considering this is now the second time this has happened a week or two after my dogs getting groomed. But instead of one dog getting the irritation and scabbing it's now both?! The last visit will be the last visit. I ignored the fact that maybe they were getting irritations from a new shampoo. My theory is simply just lack of sanitation. Christine is lovely. But my dogs having these inflamed scabs and also having to pay an extra expense for the vet not to mention how unhappy these doggies are will no longer be going through this! It's horrible that it's come to this. But they are like my kids. And to see them in pain is much more than that. read more

A-Klass K9 Kutters is by far the best place to have your dogs groomed. I have 3 well groomed shih tzus and it's always well worth my time to drive from Kunia all the way to Kalihi. My 3 babies are always anxious to get out of the car when they are being dropped off. I love that fact that when we drop them off to A-Klass K-9 Kutters, either Christine or Portia comes out with open arms to greet and take in our babies like it's their very own. It's like their 2nd home to them because they get all the love and care from them. It's amazing when you can see with your own eyes the connection they all have. The lady is VERY rude. We called a month ahead to make an appointment for 2 dogs, one at 8:30am & 4:30pm. After waiting a month, we finally went in & the lady said she can "do one dog or neither of them" bc her "new employee" made a mistake. How stupid is that. She also gave us nasty attitude. First of all we got there ten minute before 8:30, they didn't open until 9. Yup. We waited 30 minutes.. We chose to do one dog, and the other next week Saturday. When we came back on Saturday, she told us "I no longer want to cut your dogs hair bc it was too difficult, so I have to charge you extra" RUDE. Never coming back here again read more

Christine was recommended to us by a nearby vet when we adopted a dog who was fearful of people and didn't like his face being trimmed. We took him to another groomer near our house and she was horrible and the place was filthy. He hated it and she had no problem telling me how difficult he was. Christine on the other hand was patient with him and was able to continue grooming him for a few years. He passed and we eventually got two new fur babies. She has groomed them for over 10 years and we trust her completely. I love that she's a cage free operation and the dogs sincerely adore her...they call her when they arrive. Dogs have an amazing sense for good people and they can tell she loves animals. I've recommended friends to Christine and they love her as well. You will not be disappointed. I took my Goldendoodle, Sam, to Aloha K9 Kuts on September 10th. I was appalled to hear him yelp TWICE while she was trimming him. Kristine (the groomer and owner) told me he would be done at 2:15. By 3:00, I had waited 45 minutes for her to finish. There was another customer with 2 dogs so I didn't check my dog and I left. When I got home, the terrible haircut Sam had received became apparent. Upon closer examination, I noticed several "CLIPPER BURNs". I sent her pictures. I have attached pictures of the INCREDIBLY AMATEUR job he received!! I called Kristine twice and requested a return call. It took her 5 days to return my call. She apologized for the bad grooming and made several promises to refund the fee which she has not done. There is only a select few that I trust with my Luna so bringing her here says a lot. We've also brought our other pup along with Luna here for boarding when we went on vacation. The salon is clean and there is amazingly no trace of dog smell unlike other places we'e brought our pups for grooming in the past. The prices are cheap and service is top notch. Brought my Lhasa Apso's here over 10 years ago when it was called K9 A Klass Kutters. I have never been disappointed with their service. Now I bring my pocket bully here and I am still happy with the services. Prices are still low and the service is still great. I love how she treats my dog like it's her own. Makes me feel comfortable leaving him there to get groomed while I go run errands. And he always comes back squeaky clean and happy. read more
