The customer service from both students and instructors is always top-notch, making you feel welcome from start to finish. I've even brought my grandson in for a haircut, and they took amazing care of him, except for a small mishap at the shampoo bowl where he was drenched with water somehow. The student offered to put his shirt in the dryer so he didn't have to walk around with a cold, wet shirt. She made herself accessible, listened to our concerns, and actively worked to create opportunities that helped us grow both academically and professionally. Her presence on campus was felt in the most positive way. She motivated us, advocated for us, and always ensured that students felt seen and supported. Many of us chose to stay enrolled and push through challenges because we knew we had leadership that believed in us. Her dedication went far beyond her job title -- she led with heart, integrity, and purpose. While leadership changes are part of any institution, it is difficult to see someone who made such a meaningful impact no longer in that position. Then we rushed through practice on eyebrow pads with the blades, but had no example of blade strokes and different brow designs, and also didn't have any critiquing of the layout of the strokes on our practice sheets. Then when practicing on models we didn't get a lot of guidance. The kits included in our purchase price (very expensive) included calipers that we weren't even trained on. We used alternate calipers that were sold separately. The owner was one of the people there that was teaching, and was helpful when asked questions, but Su seemed to bounce around and wasn't able to answer my questions let alone still in one spot in the afternoon long enough to monitor the tattooing I was placing on volunteers. How can you teach a class without brow design examples?

I felt very sorry for the models that signed up - they were botched, not to mention had inadequate numbing which caused the procedure to be extremely painful. I found the College online and headed in. What a great experience. Old school barber chairs, they are not really old school as they are the ones the school has used for years. The place reminds me of exactly what I look for in a barber shop, it looks and feels like a barber shop. Trust me go there and that will make sense. $7 for a haircut is unheard of in today's world, and the service is worth much more. No more home cuts for me, this is where I will be going from now on.
