We ordered a mini classic suko açaí bowl- the açaí is homemade in house, which doesn't happen often. Probably the best açaí I've ever had. We also ordered a small order of cheese bread, warm, soft, cheesy perfection. I got the banana latte and my husband got a coconut black iced coffee. Both equally as delicious as everything else. But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.

I ordered online and didn't call to ask about it - not sure if this is normal. The zero sugar acai had a bit of an odd taste so I wouldn't do that again. Otherwise the flavor was good, and things tasted fresh, but I didn't feel like I got a good value. I added granola for $0.99 and there was maybe 2 tablespoons at best. The whole large bowl was on a pint sized plastic takeout container - I was expecting the large to be larger! There are no sizes on the ordering page so you don't know what to expect. I live close by and sometimes an açaí bowl just hits the spot so I might try again, but I wasn't super impressed. The order was prepped on time so no issues there.

But, this time, after my last experience, I leaned over the counter and tried to keep my eyes on him and, sure enough, I spotted him start to put pickles and other veggies on it without asking me anything. I called out to him and told him I how I wanted it made and he did so but it was a nuisance. The sub was good again but I don't recommend anyone buy one at this place unless you're happy with the shop deciding exactly how they make your sub. If you want a choice however, virtually every other sub shop in the region will ask you first and give you a chance to tell them how to finish the sub.
