We recently bought a nice leather jacket for my husband. Once we got home we saw the pocket was ripped du to loose threads. He took it back asked for a return/exchange. The employee and manager gave him a hard time saying they normally don't take returns. They did end up giving him a new jacket and taking back the damaged one. Once home I checked the website it says they do take returns up to 30 days from purchase with receipt. Although the store has nice items the employee and manager lied and gave us a hard time. read more

I purchased shoes for my son for his graduation here and they were the incorrect size. He had them on his feet for 5 minutes and they sat in my office in the box otherwise. As I had them for a few weeks before getting around to return them, I knew that I would only get store credit as per the return policy of the store and not a refund. What I did not know was that the store manager would personally attack me and call me a liar, saying that my son had been wearing them this entire time and that he could only give me store credit. As I was already aware of the store policy that I would only get store credit sure to the elapsed time since the purchase, I took the gift card and quickly left while the manager was going on and on about how it is store policy that people should try things on at the store to make sure that they get the right size instead of returning things that don't fit. read more

So, I had only peeked my head in and walk around for a bit when I realized they have very fancy clothes only. I feel like the time I had spent in the store the employees were staring me down my neck. Some positives are that the items had good quality and there were many deals going on at the time. It was a very clean store, with good selection of both men's and women's business clothes. My fiance and I were looking through the men's button up shirts and a rude store employee stands at the end of the aisle watching us. We're having our own conversation and the employee interrupts us to ask his size and we tell her, but make it clear we don't need her help. She continues to stand there and stare at us while we look. My fiance picked up a shirt in a different size to view the pattern and she yells at him that that shirt isn't his size and he should just put it back because she won't have any shirts in the back to go grab him. He says he's just looking at the pattern and she continues to argue with him that the shirt isn't his size and to put it back. Went shopping here recently for a suit. Their suit selections are decent, accessories are so-so, shoes are mostly brand names I haven't heard of before...but HORRIBLE customer service. 2 things: A sales associate just had to help me so he started laying out patterns that I could match my suit with. None of which I wanted. I kept telling him that's not my style but he insisted on wasting my time and telling me my style was boring. Yeah, thanks. Then I broke out a picture of Hugh Jackman wearing almost the exact combination I wanted. You're right, I have such bad taste that celebrities wear that combination. Wasted my time and embarassed me. I went to buy a suit and it had fabric pulls in it. The manager would not reduce the price due to damage. He indirectly called me a liar and stated that there were no pulls when clearly there were. He gave me a song and dance about how he isn't able to discount anything unless there are holes in it. That's obviously a load of bs. Treated me like crap in front of other people. Showed no remorse. Horrible customer service. Basically a Burlington Coat Factory with worse customer service. read more

I have never been in this store until today, and quite frankly I will never return. At first everything was going quite smoothly. I was enjoying the atmosphere and thought I was going to make a purchase. But everything changed when I had an encounter with one of the employees. I noticed that I had forgotten to iron my shirt before leaving the house and one of the employees decided to take it upon themselves to comment on my appearance. Please do not shop here! I bought a pair of shoes, took it home and realized that it was uncomfortable. I returned it two days later and experienced the worst customer service ever. So, the cashier had to call another employee over to approve the return, mind you, I had my receipt. A man came over and proceeded to tell me I wore the shoes and it cannot be returned. He told me he didn't want to lose his job! I was so taken aback and immediately became frustrated and loud, I was truly annoyed that I was made to feel like a liar and I was returning used item. Even though, I just watched the same man sold a used cologne for 7.00!! That even the cashier that was helping me had to make a comment as if that was not correct. Out of work and needed a suit asap for an interview. Trying to balance appearance with cost. So this was my first stop last week. First of I was not looking to spend a bundle so wanted to avoid MW and J. Banks. So thought I'd try here before the dept store. Good selection, in size big and tall sizes. Thought the CS was great friendly and ready to help but not the up you butt used car salesman CS you get in many men's shops.. Basically tried stuff on till I got what I needed with no one hovering around me. Had the suit tweaked by the tailor and it was done on time as promised, a major plus. Even got a shirt and belt for under 200.00. only flaw was I did not like their tie selection a bit too trendy. Again the staff was very pleasant and helpful. read more

After going to Burlington and getting no help at all, and going to Marshall's and getting grumpy help, it was refreshing to walk into K&G for the first time. I was greeted pretty much right inside the door by a pleasant, well-dressed gentleman. When I didn't know the size shirt my son wore, the guy whipped out a tape measure on the spot. After helping with shirt size, he directed me to the dress shirts. Once I was there, another young man approached me and was very helpful with choosing a tie. Finally, the cashier was also pleasant and helpful. Next time, I will go to K&G first! Very impressed with the selection, customer service and attitude. read more
