This company is straight up garbage. They messed up my back fence, so it won't open all the way. It's taken arguments to get them to even admit that the repair falls under the warranty, and even longer for them to come fix it. It's been 3 full months and I haven't heard a peep. We had the fence put up by two guys that work for K & K fencing their name is John Schilling and Michael, they did do this as a side job so that's on us but they did wear their K & K shirts and hoodies when they came over to do the work, they got all the material from K & K and talked about working at K & K all the time so to me this is a reflection on K & K in the work that gets done by these two. When they were here at the house they would talk about different jobs that they do on the side and the complaints that other people made this was before they finished our fence, now I understand the complaints other people were making. The job was three weeks late, they did not do it correctly meaning the gaps between the fence and the ground were so high that my Chihuahua could go under it without even crawling, The space between the gate and the polls are so far apart that our chihuahuas can get through them without squeezing. My husband and I both told them how important it was to have a very secure fence I even asked for the angles to put tension wire on the top because we have five Huskies anyone that knows Huskies know they are escape artist. They told us they could not trench the fence 2 feet under like I wanted so I told them to make sure the fence was as low to the ground as they could possibly get it. We stressed this to them hundreds of times. What we got was the fence was probably as high as they could get it from the ground. I am not even exaggerating. Our Chihuahuas could go under this fence without even crawling they can go through where the fence and the fence post come together without even squeezing. We had them fix the fence to go down to the ground before we gave the final payment. they half assed that leaving the top wire not attached to the polls. They left a lot of cut chain-link debris, they cut into one of our powerlines and their way of fixing it was that they put a cap on it put a crap ton of electrical tape and left it like that along with the gloves that they were wearing. They left a lot of trash behind. They half assed the decking panels, said that it was weather treated, which they are not. there's a gaps between the deck and panels on a few, I was going to put lattice at the bottom under the deck so the dogs could not get under they said it would look nicer with a solid piece of wood, what we really got was three strips of uneven 2 x 4's that look tacky. I bought a spring for the gate which never got put on in which the guy John never even brought back or left and will not answer any of our text messages also we do not het the tension wire that we paid for that goes on top of the fence. We paid $4500 for this fence job, only $700 cheaper than another company quoted us and what I had done in two days. We should've went with them. A friend told us about John and said he did a good job until I showed him these pictures I wish Yelp would let me show you more pictures. Our friend said he would not recommend him again to anyone and he apologized. I am going to talk to the people at K and K and show them these pictures as well. Called their office to see if I could get a general quote. Didn't care if we had to schedule a time for them to come out or if I could just get a basic linear foot price. The man that answered said "We don't give quotes over the phone" and hung up on me. Sadly, I work in residential construction and refer them often to homeowners. Never again will I refer and I will be sure to spare homeowners I work with such rude customer service. read more

Great personal service from the actual fencing construction crew, but awful service when it comes down to phone/customer serivce staff. I get put on hold before I even get a sentence out of my mouth and am dealt with rather rudely when it comes to my questions. However, the person who actually came out to do my estimate was so nice that it far overshadows and problems they have with their phone staff -though it would be nice to have that improved as well. Shame, Shame...unfortunate victim of innattentive and very sloppy and unprofessional disregard for my property while installing a fence for a next door neighbor. I will replace flower beds, clean up debris, plant grass and remember who got the fence and who got the MESS!! No next times K and K!!! read more

The field crews were nice and polite while on the job. The lady in the office who takes the calls is bothered when talking to you & seemed to have a rude undertone at every call..?? Not a pleasant thing... For a quality company, the fence was built to a less quality, fewer cross supports & thinner pickets than should have been used. this will show up as premature problems down the road and the fence will not last as long. :( I have personally done fencing in the past & this was a big unexpected surprise, as I did not expect for K&K Fence to cut corners to increase margins. The fencing was not completed to the specs we agreed on, they made some obvious changes to the fencing without communicating with me first. These changes were obvious, didn't look good or were not finished properly. they needlessly/carelessly damaged my neighbours yard, which was a big deal to our neighbours..!! They were 2 months late finishing the job. I received a late payment notice.... They had never sent me a final bill & the fence was not yet finished... I thought they had a good reputation, We were expecting a quality job .. but they could not pull it off. All in all we were very disappointed. read more

This company put our fence in 24 years ago and it still stands strong and secure! We still remember how timely, efficient, polite, and professional they were. I think we will be using them again soon for our son-in-law and daughter's new home. read more

They called me two days prior to a scheduled visit to get me a price and asked for the appointment to be moved to later in the day. I told them I could not move the time because of my work schedule, and they said that would be fine. Then, they called me the morning of and cancelled on me, saying one more week out would be the next possible time/date for a visit, pushing the 4-week installation window out to 5. We gave very specific instructions as to how we wanted our fence cut. They did exactly what we wanted. They noticed we have dogs and were very kind to cut the fence low---everything was perfect and clean cut. There was a lot of trimming to be done to trees, bushes, etc. in order to build the fence---they did so and cleaned everything up---also hauled off the old fence. Left everything looking pristine. The guy walked us around making sure we were happy with the job done--of course we were. Expressed that they know we have a lot of options in who we go to, so they make a huge effort to be the best. Would not use this company again. Was really happy upon first walk through thinking that the sales individual understood my need for a secure fence with no gaps along ground and tight gate openings since I have a small dog. Then the installers came out. Well the gate posts were set way to far apart and I was told they could not be redone and I'd just have to deal with the gaps. I had to have the actual fence lowered 3 times! And there are still 1-2 in gaps in places between the fence and ground. The chain link itself is loose to the point you think someone may fall through if they lean on it. Can not get company to come out when I'm home to fix. Very disappointed. read more

I initially (about 2003) I had K & K Fence install about 150' of 6' heavy duty chain link fencing, 24' cantilever gate and a 4' walk through gate. They did a excellent job. It continues to provide good service, yet the cantilever gate needed some attention due to occasional hits of a critical post by crumby drivers in my alley. As a DIY person called K & K in mid-December hoping they would have needed replacement parts that I was unable to find at the big box stores, online for a reasonable cost, or at other closer fence companies. Kevin stated said he was unsure but would look and call me back. And that he did within a short period of time and with good news. Once I arrived I was impressed by the professional appearance of the company quarters and was greeted by a very helpful lady who seemed to handle lots of office responsibilities. She called for Kevin and he appeared within a minute with a box of the items I needed. He was very friendly as well as efficient and quoted an unbeatable price. I've since learned that the company has served residential and commercial customers since 1967 and is one of the largest in Indiana. read more

It will be a year tomorrow that I worked with Ted Jr. to have an aluminum fence installed on my property. After a year, the fence looks and operates like a brand new fence. K & K Fence installed a cedar privacy fence around my backyard in the Fall of 2011. I'm writing this review in June of 2012. I cannot say enough good things about this company and every single person I dealt with, from the sales staff to the fence installers. They were very professional, prompt, and kept me up to date at all times. I probably spent 6 weeks asking questions, changing my mind, and asking more questions before it was all said and done. I would consider myself a picky customer, and K & K delivered above & beyond. The quality of the fence is excellent, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result.
