I had Keith out for a second opinion for a furnace replacement. The first company informed me the repairs that my 20+ year old machine exceeded the value and it should be replaced, me not knowing too much about it didn't really like the person that was over and he seemed a bit rude. So I looked in the local gold clipper and the blue and white logo caught my eye because I'm a penn state graduate. Keith stopped over after 7 pm on a Friday and confirmed what the previous company diagnosed and in a polite manner informed me what a furnace for my home should do and how it operates, from there we discussed how all brands are similar and the pros and cons of more efficient models, his presentation was outstanding, brochures, pamphlets, and warranty is the most important he stressed. As he outlined what needed to be done he had me sold at the hello with a smile. Not only did he recommend Lennox which is everything he said it would be , quiet, efficient , and well rated product but he wanted to perform the work on a Saturday (the next day). We agreed on a price, no deposit made, just a hand shake and see you bright and early! At this point his price was higher than the previous company and I know why! Keith and his co worker arrived early, his co worker show me and my wife a blueprint for the work , explained the steps the replacement will need to be completed, and as I watched with amazement how the whole process began , I was astonished, how efficient these two worked together as team they were swift, clean, and like a perfect duo took out my old equipment, brought in the new , and step by step everything went together like a puzzle. The taller guy with glasses was so determined, so confident , so proud, all these qualities shows the true craftsman this company was about. This new Lennox Elite two stage furnace was so quiet you couldn't tell it was on and running . The finished product looked like a brand new car, I definitely made the right choice, I got more than I paid for and I can't wait to see the savings on my fuel bills. I can't stress more about those two fellas , enthusiastic, polite , professional, and cleaned everything up, sweeping the floor, even waxed the furnace , the taller guy didn't like finger prints on the new product, show room quality . These two fellas had a blast working together, joking, laughing , and smiling the whole time , these guys are just normal people working and having fun! I approve KandKheatingandcooling! Our AC went out the Friday of the 4th of July weekend. Called K&K 9pm that Friday for a service call and arranged an appointment for 1st thing Saturday morning. Jesse called to confirm appointment and kept updating how soon he'd be able to check out AC. Once he arrived and performed all the tests, it was determined my 19yr old AC needed to be replaced. Keith also came by to talk about what the problem was and we all agreed to set up an appointment for new installation. Both Jesse and Keith were very knowledgeable, informative, professional, "down to earth" and reasonable. They made sure no questions were left unanswered and were very personable! Contract was written and we were on the list for installation upcoming Friday. Jesse called that morning when he was on the way. It was a very hot day to say the least and the house temps all week were in the high 80s. Jesse worked his behind off while still being personable, diligent, professional and meticulous while our AC unit was installed after he removed the old one. I was amazed on how hard he worked while he took the time to explain things as he moved along. His personality and easy outgoingness shows he really enjoys what he does. Well after an 8 hr day of installation, Jesse ensured me I will see a huge difference with the cooling vs the old unit and it's cost effectiveness. Let me just say, OMG!!! I can't believe the difference!!!! My AC is set at 73 and it IS 73 in the house!!!! No humidity, no more 80's, and even the electric bill is considerably lowered! In July 2019, K and K Heating and Cooling came to the rescue for our 90 year old mother. My wife and I live in Nevada and felt desperate when we spoke to her and found the air conditioning unit was not working. The temperature as usual hot and humid in Parma. An internet research identified several companies in the area - messages were left for many of them. Almost immediately after leaving a message with K and K Heating and Cooling the return call was prompt both to our mother and on my wife's phone from where the call originated even though it was an out of town area code. As it turns out, Matt had already spoken to mom and did not realize when he called my wife there was a connection. Matt immediately put both of our minds at ease assuring us that mom was in good hands and would be taken care. Within an hour the repairs were made and the after hours up charges were deducted. Hired this company to install new furnace and air conditioner. I was impressed with Mike the salesman, he worked with me to make sure I got the best system that I wanted for our house. My biggest concern with picking a company out to do the installation. Any retired HAVAC person will tell you that you can buy the best products, but if not installed right you are going to have problems. Don and Dwayne did an excellent job making sure everything was done right the first time ( no shortcuts ). Company stands behind their installations with a guarantee, that is important. This was honest service at a very reasonable price. In short it was business as it should be done. The previous day with temps at 93 deg. my system would run for a few minutes, shut off and repeatedly try to restart and fail. On the day of service the temp was 80 deg and the system ran perfectly. Jesse performed many checks explaining everything he did and why. He determined that the system had been overfilled with refrigerant (by a previous very expensive serviceman a few years earlier). Restoring the system to design specifications has solved the problem. Today the temp is again 93 deg and the system is running smoothly. K & K also made a follow up call the next day to check that I was satisfied. I am very happy to have found K & K and will recommend them to anyone who asks. read more

Keith the owner of K & K came out today to give me a second opinion on whether the heat exchanger in my gas furnace was cracked. He took my old one-stage 34 year old Rheem furnace apart, cleaned it thoroughly, got the gunk out of the pilot, replaced the thermocouple, and then tested it again with a combustion analyzer to make sure there was not a dangerous level of carbon monoxide. I was good to go. Keith saved me thousands of dollars in that if the heat exchanger was cracked, I would have had to replace the furnace. He worked with a dexterity and assuredness that is not often seen these days. In other words, he knew exactly what he was doing. I am so grateful to him! My only regret is that he did not bring his adorable dog (the pug) pictured on his website with him. read more

Honestly. When my A/C cut off on a 100 degree day I expected every HVAC co. to try to rake me. One actually tried to tell me OVER THE PHONE that I needed to buy a whole new central air system! (sorry I am not your "mark") Then I got a call back from Keith at K&K. Like going back into the 1950s or 60's, he listened to what I said, answered all my questions, and didn't tell I needed a new air conditioner. (how silly is that anyway) My repairman called first, showed up on time, knew exactly what he was doing, and had my unit fixed in time for me to get to work ON TIME. Jessie did an awesome job on our ac unit and furnace. He cleaned it thoroughly and took pictures for me to show me before and after at my request! I had another company "clean" it last week and they essentially did nothing. The furnace actually didn't work once they were finished. I got my money back easily after showing the pics of the job Jessie did. I also needed proof of the cleaning and inspection to sell my home and I received a very detailed printout and invoice of everything that was done. Had Frank out today, Dec 15th for a service call over a concern I had about my new 2- month old furnace. Frank came out same day and gave me a crash course about the difference in operation of my old 36-year furnace and a new one. "Dummied down" everything to my level and allayed all my concerns. Keith was wonderful. He came out and re-installed a thermostat that I had failed miserably at installing. I contacted him late in the evening and he was able to make time to come out the next day to get my AC back up and running. He was knowledgeable, professional and reasonable. I had priced out a few other places at doing this for me and they were all extremely expensive compared to him. They also quoted me a service call of 2-4 hours just to install a thermostat.
