I don't know how to express this but this is the best place ever in delray (japanese cuisine). You MUST COME. Forget about Coco Lounge, this is the spot

This will forever be one of my favorite restaurants. The name, the food, the vibe. It has it all. It transports you into a portal in Japan for sure. With the quality of the food, the difference dishes, the authenticity. The only problem is the staff is a little off sometimes.

From the amazing ambiance that gives the vibes of a New York hole in the wall gem, to the food, and the amazing service Simon gives makes us feel like we're in a well organized dinner party. Please ask for Simon's menu recommendations, you will not be dissapointed :) 100/10

I have been coming here for years! I actually have had the fish bowl before. This time it was served in a measuring cup..... last time it was served classic fishbowl style in a fishbowl so that was strange. When we ordered we said "we will take a fishbowl" as they are normally a drink one would split at $30 a piece, we each received one measuring cup each, again strange and I just assumed they maybe didn't have any fishbowls and just split it for us. The drink was alright, not strong like other fishbowls I have had. I asked for the bill and the bartender charged us for two fish bowls...$60 for two drinks. I explained the mishap and he fixed the bill but I am still confused how that was misunderstood. Fishbowls are a drink people split, not just assumed that each person wants their own $30 drink....

The sushi and yakitori were absolutely delicious. I love this chill spot in Delray off of Atlantic Avenue. The server Simon is extremely friendly and will also make you food.

So sushi yama is our go to and favorite local sushi place. Were part asian so we eat sushi all the time. We walked by this place several times hanging around downtown always looked really cool, but we could never really make it with the kids. So on our anniversary, we went here early and had a little bit of everything. The sake was really good. The appetizers were all spot on and the sushi actually to my surprise was just a bit of a notch above Sushi Yama. And im not knocking sushi yama we love it. The flavor and the little tiny crispies and things like that that they added to it just brought it just a notch above so it's really good. I'm actually gonna bring the kids back again because I think my daughter will love it and they said they could custom make something for my son so that he'll eat it. Weight staff was amazing and the food was spot on perfect every single bite

This place is the perfect hole in the wall! The staff are friendly and you can tell that they want you to enjoy yourself. The chef is phenomenal and will pop out to see if you are enjoying yourself food. The food is AMAZING!! The tako wasabi, beg for more gyoza, taste like my ex-girlfriend (sushi roll), just order all the things. They are all delicious. We even got to try a charred mushroom dish that they might put on the menu. We had so much fun that we came back the next night!

Great late night happy hour spot. $6 sushi rolls and $3 beers. Loved the vibes and atmosphere of this place.

Love Beg For More! The place has such a cool, laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, and the staff adds to the vibe with their friendly and attentive service. Crafted with passion and precision. Each bite is a delightful explosion of fresh, vibrant flavors, and you can really taste the quality of ingredients in every dish. Whether you're savoring the sushi or indulging in the cuisine, there's a perfect balance of textures, spices, and creativity in every plate. The attention to detail is unmatched, and Simon's expertise shines through with every dish he prepares. Truly a dining experience that leaves you begging for more - highly recommend!

I was here about a year ago, and have been begging for it since! I couldn't wait to come back to Delray for this. My favorite meal! Austin was still here! Great bartender! Food is amazing!

We arrived around 6:30 and it was empty. The food is good as always. The Masumi sake was very good, Jumai. Gyoza dumplings plate, crispy bok chow, jumbo shrimp pad thai, yakitori beef and scallions, and a few sushi plates.

We knew we wanted sushi but also wanted to go somewhere new to us. Yelp guided us to Beg for More, and with the reviews and photos we were sold on it. Made reservations but upon arrival realized they weren't needed. Place was not busy, maybe 2 tables occupied and the bar all open. We grabbed two seats at the bar and were immediately served with iced waters and menus. This was 7pm on a Saturday so, I'm assuming it would get busier a bit later. But this was no issue for us, as our food came out quickly and service was also and on point. Most of their drink menu was sake or whiskey, and the rest seemed sweet, but our bartender suggested the lychee martini and just as he promised it was not too sweet and strong. Off to a good start! The our plates started coming out as they were ready, kind of like tapas style: - Edamame: We had the option of having it with sea salt, spicy sauce or garlic sauce. I went with the classic sea salt. No way you can go wrong with that. - Shishito Peppers: delicious! Not too spicy and great for sharing. There were 6 on the plate. - Gyoza Plate: the gyoza itself was great but I was not a fan of the crispy part. I love simple steamed ones without any fried parts in/ on it. - Salmon Yakitori: nice smoky flavor - Picasso Roll: was good but presentation said more than the flavor itself - Salmon Roll: as simple as this is, I loved it!! You could taste how fresh the salmon was and enjoy it, without anything overpowering it. Glad we found this place and got to enjoy some good food and service. Hope to come back at a time where there's more people and really get to see the fun atmosphere it portrayed.

So let's start with the service the terrible, they forgot to refill the water. The servers don't know the menu and just walk back and forth in this tiny place not bring any food and when they do it comes cold. I don't understand how this place is still open, the owner is nice but seems to be too nice during the hiring process because I feel the food was sitting before the servers brought it over and eveytime I went I felt the service was the main problem and the food just was ok nothing special.

It's sill one of the gems. We started with the wedge salad and cheesy bread. We wanted to get the Filet Mignon and the Prime Cut Ribeye to share them, but they were out of the Filet which was a bit surprising. Instead, we got the Crispy Chicken Piccata. They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.
