I found Auto Repair 74 online and gave them a call, worried I wouldn't find help on a Friday afternoon. To my surprise, they welcomed me to bring the car in right away. As soon as I arrived, they quickly checked the electrical system. Bobby even offered me a ride to a nearby restaurant so I could grab lunch while they diagnosed the issue--such a thoughtful gesture! Before I'd even finished eating, I received a message letting me know the car was running smoothly again. They also explained what to watch for and what to do if the light reappeared. The perfect ending? No charge! I can't say enough good things about their professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. If I ever have car trouble in Birmingham again, I know exactly where I'm going. Being a woman, there's a rep that people in the auto maintenance field will try to take advantage of you. I shopped around and I did get the run around in pricing. My coworker has been going to Lee-Rodgers for years, so I decided to ask her what her thoughts were on my situation and she highly recommended them. I called the store and informed Mark (one of the owners) what I needed. He asked me to send photos of the damage and my tires to his email. He shopped around to find me a used wheel and got me a great deal on tires. You also get a free rotation on your set at Lee-Rodgers for the lifetime of the tires. I dropped off my car in the morning and they called around 3:30 to say it was ready. When I got to the store I didn't see my car- they went ahead and changed out another new tire because one of them deflated and they wanted to make sure I didn't have a bad tire. A+ service. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of while also not spending an arm and a leg. Highly recommended and they've gained a new client in me!

I paid $839.00 for a radiator replacement and picked up my vehicle believing the issue had been resolved. Unfortunately, the vehicle continued overheating shortly after the repair and later became inoperable, requiring it to be returned to the shop. My vehicle remained there for an extended period. During that time, I called regularly for updates and was repeatedly told that no one had looked at it. As a small business owner who depends on my work van, being without my vehicle caused transportation expenses, lost work opportunities, and financial hardship. I was also concerned that my repair invoice stated my vehicle had "numerous oil leaks," but another inspection I obtained around the same time did not document any oil leaks. When I asked for supporting documentation, I did not receive photographs or diagnostic evidence explaining that notation. After my vehicle was returned, I continued investigating the overheating issue and discovered additional concerns with the cooling system. I attempted to resolve the matter directly with the company and spoke with a representative who expressed interest in resolving it, but we were ultimately unable to reach an agreement. Every repair experience is different, but based on my experience, I was disappointed with the repair outcome, the length of time my vehicle remained at the shop, and the lack of communication. I hope the company reviews its repair and customer service practices so future customers have a better experience.

    I want to start this off by saying they have been great folks to work with over the years. I spent…read morea lot of money and worked with them almost exclusviely with both of my families cars. But my last exerience was one that I cannot help but be infuratied by. I had an issue where my 2012 Highlander AC went out in July and it was $2700.00 to fix. So I agreed and they did the work. When I took the car in the heater worked fine and prior to the AC going out the temperature control worked without any issues. They "fixed" the AC and it blew ice cold which was great for July. I noticed immediately that you couldn't regulate the temperature at all but life was busy and in hindsight I should have turned right around and took it back in. Fast forward two months when I had a blowout, I took it back in and alerted them to the issue's (no temp control and heater is out). They mulled it over and said it was a completely different issue and wanted another $2700. If they had test run the system after "fixing" the AC, they would have noticed something was off. Or maybe they did and just pushed it out anyways? They claim to warrenty their work but that didn't hold up here either. No attempt whatsoever to meet me in the middle. Nothing except a "sorry, completely different issue so another $2700.00". Not a good look Rob'e Man's.
