Went there for inspection and oil change. I kid you not, they were working on one other car and yet it was less than 20 minutes between the time I arrived and the time I left. I would give negative stars if it were possible. I took my truck in for a simple state inspection on my diesel truck that requires safety only. The truck is in good condition, but during the inspection it was found that the license plate lights were out. I own many vehicles and have never been up charged to replace a bulb, nor have I ever been told that if I remedy my problem myself that I would be failed for the inspection and have to pay twice. The reality of how poor the customer service and how money hungry this establishment is, i witnessed them suggest replacing a cabin air filter on a car that was less than one year old. If a company is that willing to nickel and dime it customers and hold them hostage, imagine how dishonest they are on large ticket items. read more

I've had a number of bad experiences with other auto repair shops in the past, so it is a huge stress buster to find a place that is both honest and competent. I have referred three friends to see Zack and his crew, and all of them have reported the same good service. There have been two specific instances that Zack could have put a lot of money in his pocket by recommending major repair work on my car, but instead told me what to get from a parts store to do myself for just a few dollars. I guess it all started about two weeks ago whenever we took our 2002 Toyota solara in for a routine oil change and inspection. Whenever the mechanic came back in the store of course he named off a couple of things that needed to be fix, estimated at about 2000.00 which would be the spark plugs being replaced and a engine mount to be replaced. We didn't have the money at the time so declined. But said we would be back at a later date to get it fixed. Well it being two weeks later while getting gas, the car wouldn't start. Whenever I finally got it to turn over I immediately took it to AutoZone, and had a check done on it. Error code p0303 3rd cylinder misfire. So instinctively we took it back to them and asked again how much it would cost to fix it. After sitting about 30 mins inside waiting on the mechanic to come back in from looking at it. He comes in and informs us that it will be 1000.00 to replace the spark plugs because he would have to take off the intake manifold to get to it, and that there was no way to get to them without doing so. Ok well not having 1000.00 dollars walking around money, we were at a loss. The mechanic told us that it would not be a good idea to drive it even the 1.5 miles to our apartment. Saying we could leave it there until we got the money to fix it. Devasted this being our only car with two little ones. Against their wishes, we decided to drive the car home. After arriving home, I decided well just for the heck of it, I'll look it up on YouTube and see how hard it is to do. Upon watching the video, it clearly shows it can be done without taking off the manifold, so my wife and I drove the car to AutoZone and bought a New spark plug for 2.99 and a ratchet set for 20.00 and I was going to fix it my self. Whenever we got the car home we let it cool off for about an hour, and I went out to attempt the what looks like a easy fix. Took me five minutes to disconnect the battery and take off the cover on top, and move a hose, to clearly see that the ignition coil, was in fact pulled out, and sitting on the side, no longer having contact with the spark plug. Now a mechanic, who was in fact checking these spark plugs for thirty minutes should have noticed that. Kind of obvious. After putting it back in place and connecting everything back, car started right up and drives perfectly fine. Check engine light turned right off. Now that being said, it's already suspicious, it would not have been as bad if the mechanic in fact had not offered to have someone by the car from us for 1000.00 because he said so much work had to be done to it, that it wouldn't be worth anything. Now I don't know about you but I'm pretty dang sure a ignition coil doesn't just pop completely out on it's own. We didn't even have to replace any spark plugs.I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Unless you want someone who is going to go to extreme lengths to screw you, do not go to these crooks, and it's too bad too because if we would have had the money we would have paid for it, because we didn't know the first thing about it. Thank god for YouTube. And I can't even imagine how many people they have already screwed over. What goes around comes around. He knew we would be back. He just didn't intend on us figuring out what he had planned from our oil change. So beware, don't waste your time, firestone is right next to it. read more
