The husband came in towards closing and I had to express my visit at the salon. Their branding is also very polished; you'll notice it everywhere, even on the technicians' aprons. When I signed in, I told the receptionist I just needed a fill-in and that I thought I had Gel X. She explained the difference between Gel X and builder gel, and we confirmed that I indeed had Gel X. My original nail tech asked about the color I wanted and seemed excited to match a similar shade. But once she realized I had Gel X, she told me there was no way to do a fill-in and that the entire set would have to be removed and redone. She explained her reasoning, which I understood. I agreed in theory, but I let her know I was on a time crunch and had to leave within an hour. If I had more time, I would've been open to removing the set and starting over. Unfortunately, she kept repeating that she wasn't doing it and became visibly frustrated: huffing and puffing and making the situation bigger than it needed to be. It was uncalled for because she kinda mean! She made a situation that was small into something HUGE! Thankfully, Anna and Aaron (the owner/manager) stepped in. Aaron demonstrated how the fill-in could be done while Anna and the other tech watched. Anna then took over and completed my nails, and they looked amazing. I'm really grateful to Anna and Aaron for actually listening to what I was asking for and working with me instead of immediately dismissing my request. Their professionalism made all the difference.

My nails ended up looking decent but it is unacceptable to cut your clients skin so bad they are bleeding on multiple fingers! I paid $50 for a gel manicure. No acrylics or anything fancy. No designs or gems. All the other nail salons that I have been to are $35-40 for this service. It is even more disappointing that I paid the most money for the worst experience.

I'd personally had two decent experiences there, but listen, I took that review as my sign to "spin the block" on Cosmo Nail Spa instead. And here we are...visit #2 and STILL pretty good! The décor is beautiful, the service was good, and the overall experience was just as pleasant as my first visit. We love consistency! Now for the sad part: I'm back at work after vacation. The color I selected was a bright green. Some CC brand I've never heard of. I asked if they have DND, they said no. It went on goopy and blotchy. I asked the lady if it would get better, after she applied the first coat on one foot. She just looked at me. To my dismay, there was a language barrier and she didn't understand me. She went on to apply 3 sloppy uneven coats and I stopped her before applying top coat to tell her I didn't like it. She tried to continue applying because she didn't understand me. She called some mean woman over to try to explain to me that it's supposed to look like that, since it's a neon green, and that it's a good brand of polish. I told her I only get bright colors and I showed her my yellow DND polish that is on my hands and feet and how smooth it is. I only get DND. She told me that the green looks good. Tried to tell me the lady put white polish first, I told her she didn't put white first. She looked surprised. I asked her to just take it off and she tried to tell me no she can't. I was getting upset and ended up telling them I'll pay for the pedicure, but just take the polish off. Also, I said I wasn't going to get my hands done. She ended up over charging me for the pedicure. I got the basic, which was supposed to be $35 and she charged me $40. I still even tipped, even tho I didn't want to. Needless to say, DO NOT come here. Heed my warning!! Also, she used only the drill on my toes, no soak off. My toe nails r really thin now.
