The nail salon has really nice decor: a crystal chandelier, modern nail equipment, and upgraded pedicure chairs with leg lifts. Their branding is also very polished; you'll notice it everywhere, even on the technicians' aprons. When I signed in, I told the receptionist I just needed a fill-in and that I thought I had Gel X. She explained the difference between Gel X and builder gel, and we confirmed that I indeed had Gel X. My original nail tech asked about the color I wanted and seemed excited to match a similar shade. But once she realized I had Gel X, she told me there was no way to do a fill-in and that the entire set would have to be removed and redone. She explained her reasoning, which I understood. I agreed in theory, but I let her know I was on a time crunch and had to leave within an hour. If I had more time, I would've been open to removing the set and starting over. Unfortunately, she kept repeating that she wasn't doing it and became visibly frustrated: huffing and puffing and making the situation bigger than it needed to be. It was uncalled for because she kinda mean! She made a situation that was small into something HUGE! Thankfully, Anna and Aaron (the owner/manager) stepped in. Aaron demonstrated how the fill-in could be done while Anna and the other tech watched. Anna then took over and completed my nails, and they looked amazing. I'm really grateful to Anna and Aaron for actually listening to what I was asking for and working with me instead of immediately dismissing my request. They have a late policy for customers but my tech didn't even show up for my appointment. I booked it a week in advance and got here a few minutes early to sit and wait for 30 minutes past my appointment time without any information about when the nail technician was arriving. She never did. Highly do not recommend this salon. They did not offer to reschedule or place me with another nail technician until i left. read more

I went to this salon with my mother in early june. We both requested a builder gel set with nail tips. I went to another nail salon to remove them and they told me that they had put regular acrylics on me. She attempted to do a soak off and then she also realized that they had used MMA instead of monomer, which is illegal. The nail salon had to file them down completely. Thank goodness the nail salon was able to save my nails as much as they can but they were still damaged. I WOULDN'T COME HERE!!! The color selections are a little more harsh than I anticipated, with my job they are particular about our nail colors. Not wrapping my nails before doing the pedicure was a sign. The first time, I was told they no longer offered "basic " nail services, which I understood. However, the second situation was more frustrating. After I canceled an appointment within the proper time frame, I was charged a $27 fee .I later reached out via text simply asking if my message inquiring about the fee and to gain further clarity around the charge . My message was misinterpreted, and as a result, I was told I could no longer book appointments. As a client, I felt this was an extreme response to a simple follow-up message. This has been my go-to salon for the last 2.5 years since I relocated to this neighborhood. The salon is pretty consistent with (my) services. I always get a gel full set, gel fill in, or gel pedicure. All my services have been done to my satisfaction. I've never had a nail crack or break after leaving. I also have never made an appointment before. I walk-in service every visit as the wait time is short. I typically arrive during the week between 4pm-close as it's slower towards closing time. The venue is not super luxe and could be cleaner. The tools are sanitized when I've gotten service. I can't vouch for their waxing cleanliness as I don't get my brows or body waxed at nail salons. The pedicure chairs are also a bit worn down but they do line the bowls with plastic wrap for sanitation. It's a shame the reviews of this salon are so poor but I could see that. During some visits there are women who have been displeased with their service. I rarely get designs so that could be the case and due to turnover with techs. I always see either Helen or Alex and they're great for what I like and need. read more

I came in as a walk in to get a fill in and pedicure. Things went ok, but I had to keep instructing tech on how to do my nails. Once we got to my nails, she did the ugliest nails and designs. I didn't make a fuss, just decided to keep them for a few days until I could go see my regular tech. After my appt, I asked to use the restroom, I went and came back and the tech asked if I was looking for someone and told me to wait for my ride outside! I explained that I went to use the restroom and wanted to dry my toes. Apparently u can't wait in the shop once ur service is done. I came in as a walk in. The first thing I asked is if they had cat eye gel polish. The guy at the front desk said yes so I requested a mani pedi with cat eye gel polish. the pedicure is over and the lady couldn't find the polish. Finally they find a little box with about 8 colors in it, all of which I did not like. I am upset and feel played. Guess I could have asked before to see the colors but they knew damn well they didn't have an adequate selection. Guy at the front could have said they only have a few colors. Also, because they did some new renovations, the chairs for the pedicure the water can only get so hot. Me and T he lady next to me kept asking for hotter water and it can't. I personally don't think the water was very hot at all. Also charge 3% on credit and debit card charges and to avoid that you have to use electronic payment. Shady...won't recommend nor come back.
